Ok....so I went here for my bday on 2/27 and suprisingly, I WAS NOT IMPRESSED!! My Filet was almost burnt, it was dry and it had no seasoning. Not to mention they have the nerve to be a expensive..now i dont mind paying for a great filet but when its dry, I couldve just went to sizzler!!! Pros: The hostess and staff Cons: The Filet Mignon more

Terrible Valentines Day Destination 2/17/2009

This was our first experience with Flemings and will not go back. We arrived and were seated at our reserved time, at a table for two mid floor of a very noisy crowded room. Fifteen minutes later we were offered water, twenty minutes later the server introduced himself, meantime the clearer had dropped an entire tray next to my seat and left food remains on the floor. The water server bumped my chair everytime he walked past. It was very obvious the restaurant had over booked and used every single available floor space in the main room. more

Great Steakhouse 9/7/2008

My husband and I went on a recommendation from my aunt who loved it (July 08)-I've read where there was mandatory valet parking at most of them-go to the one in Rancho Cucamonga. It's centrally located in the Victoria Gardens outdoor mall-you can not only get in some shopping (right next to Macy's!) the parking is in front of the restaraunt and it's free! All you LA County ppl need to come this way and realize you don't have to always pay to park. Our waitress was excellent (left her a $20 tip),and there was always someone in arm's reach ready to help. I do agree it was a bit noisy, but for a casual business attire place the food was excellent. We went on a celebration of the ""end of the work week"" and it was just as special...my husband had the lamb chops, I believe, and I had the porterhouse...both were cooked perfectly and the sides were just as good. They ask you if it's a special occasion when making your reservations, mine was not, but I'm wondering now had I said something would we have gotten a free dessert?! I know my uncle got a leather coaster set on Father's Day...so you do get SOMETHING for your expense. Our bill was $150 with tip...but again...it is a great steakhouse and I've recommended it since....enjoy! Pros: front door free parking, ambience, great service Cons: the t.v. from the bar should've had a partition of some sort-it took away from the ambience of the restaraunt more

overpriced 4/23/2008

this food is extremely overpriced. you will pay morton's prices for applebees quality. tuna steak is not good, and i can make a better fillet myself Pros: service, nice place Cons: expensive, food more

Everything was Delicious 9/12/2007

From the appetizers, to side dishes, to entrees, and desserts everything was terrific. The smoked salmon bruschetta was very tasty. The side dishes are expensive around $9 each as are the desserts. Three of us, no drinks was $170. It was odd that one of the filet mignon was ordered medium and it came to the table very rare. The waitress noticed it and had it recooked to stll pretty rare. You would think they would know how long to cook it, but it was pretty thick. Still was excellent. more

Great Steak and Ambience 3/1/2007

My old frat brothers and I are on a search for the best steakhouse in LA and Flemings is up there with the best. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the server was very attentive. Wine list was good. Pricey but worth it. I was surprised to hear it's owned by the same company that owns Outback and some other restaurants. This place is far better than Mortons for the food although Mortons has a better wine list. The meat was tender and juicy and seasoned to perfection. In comparison to Mortons, it's night and day on the flavor. This place is up there with Ruth Chris in terms of food quality. Highly Recommended. Pros: Great Service, Great Food...Go there more

Great Dining Experience 11/1/2006

Fleming's is a fantastic restaurant. It scores a 10 in my book on all levels. Service was impeccable, rich steakhouse ambiance, and great food. My filet mignon was so tasty, it melted in my mouth. I also have to say the creamed spinach and the mushrooms were mouth watering sides. The wine list is impressive - don't be afraid to ask questions either - the service is very friendly and attentive. It is pricey, though, so save it for special occasions! Pros: Food, Service, Ambiance Cons: Pricey more

Great steak and wines 4/24/2006

A friend had recommended Fleming's to us because she knows how much I love wine and I was not disappointed. They have an extensive wine list...both by the bottle or by the glass and the food was delicious. They serve their steaks a la carte and you can order sides that are served family style. The side of mushrooms were great! Definitely worth checking out. Pros: Great steaks, extensive wine list, service more

great service 4/23/2006

i took my boyfriend there for his birthday. the filet i had was burnt but everything else was good. our server was very nice and friendly. Pros: service more

Great food and service. 2/2/2006

Flemings is a grandiose steakhouse in the same tradition as Morton's. The food is amazing (and definitely save room for the dessert). The service was also good as there is always a server or busboy within reach. It can be a bit noisy and is probably better fro getherings with friends or co-workers than for a quiet romantic date. A little bit on the pricey side, but that's expected for this type of place. Pros: Great Food Cons: Can be noisy more

Excellent wine Bar and Good food. 1/18/2006

I was impressed by the wine selection and really enjoyed trying the different wines by the glass. The food was good but relative to the price was not that impressive. Flemings is a pricey place and I expect more when the prices are such. Pros: w more

One of the Best ever 10/4/2005

Flemings is by far one of the best steakhouses around. While waiting for our cocktails, I noticed there was no salt or pepper on the table. Looked around and didn't see any anywhere. Not until we were served our delicious ribeyes and sauteed spinach, did I totally understand why. We didn't need a thing. Just knives and forks. Unbelievable. Now I've had better Mojitos, but the meal made up for it. It's a bit noisey but what can you expect when you're with good friends eating great food. Oh yeah, the lamb chops ROCK!!!! Pros: value, perfectly seasoned, great vibe Cons: dim lighting more

MY FAVORITE PLACE!!! 8/17/2005

One word...YUMMY! Was introduced to this place last Fall from a client. Have been going once a month since last November. Jason, is one of my favorite waiters (ask for him). Wine list to die for and same with the martini's. Sunday is well known for the Prime Rib Dinner special (A MUST try for $25 salad,1 side, and desert). The steak melts in your mouth, the side dishes Awesome! Try the mac/cheese and cream corn!!!! Beautiful place to dine at on a date, a biz dinner, or a girls/guys night out! This place is a little pricey, but so worth every dollar and bite! Pros: FOOD/WINE, STAFF, DECOR Cons: A little pricey more

This was a special night 7/18/2005

I went for the first with my boyfriend a couple of Saturday nights ago. I made the reservations the night before. We had trouble finding it so we called them for directions. They were so nice & our water glasses never got even half empty. Our bread was perfect. I ate every bite of my filet & some of my boyfriend's chicken. I wanted dessert but I knew he would kill me. He said we would go back sometime just for dessert because we really were too stuffed. Pros: Good parking, Not too crowded, Romantic Cons: Expensive, Far from home more

Great steaks 6/10/2005

The steaks are very good here. I would recommend the 12 oz filet. It is so thick and so tender and flavorful. The sides are fantastic especially the onion rings piled high with to die for chipolte maynnaise and the flemings potatoes which are scalloped and covered with cheese and jalapanos. Service is very efficient and professional. The only dings on the place is that the meat is ""wet aged"" versus ""dry aged"" (I have had both and can't tell the difference). It is very loud in the main dining room on busy nights do to the fact that the ceiling is all wood. Stupid valet parking $5.00. Pros: Food, Service, Ambience Cons: Loud more

Fleming's 6/6/2005

The food is VERY expensive but they make and incredible steak, french onion soup, and baked potato. more

WOW! 5/14/2005

I've been there on more than one occasion and I can't say i've ever had a less than fantastic experience. A great wine selection accompanied with the best Filet i've ever tasted. Service is the perfect speed for what kind of dinner you will be enjoying! Pros: Great Area, Great Style, Fun Bar more

If you love wine...... 2/25/2004

you have to try this place. The service was slow. We waitied a long time even though we had a reservation. Our server was horrible- really horrible. The food was great so we'll go again. You must have the showstring fries! Pros: Food more

Not Good 6/24/2003

We had a large group for a birthday party and could Barely hear each other over the din. The acoustics in the main room are terrible - I don't understand why they chose to make the restaurant so loud. Not a good place if you want to actually converse over dinner. Service was extremely slow and I sent my steak back once to be cooked more & wanted to send it back again b/c it was still too pink. But, I gave up and lost interest altogether. Sides were average. NOT WORTH the price!! more
