Michael was our agent. We bought a new construction property. He was very patient throughout the process. He took the time to explain the buying procedure for new construction homes. He gave us the valuable suggestions while negotiating with builder. I think that definitely gave us better deal. Not only this, but Michael had been a good advisor in terms of suggesting us from where to buy the appliances etc. I think Michael is very honest and isn't pushy. Future Buyers: As a first time buyer I really had no clue of where to start and what the important questions i needed answered before putting in a offer or deciding if a home was a good fit for me or not. At first I went with an agent I had never researched but I "thought" we had a connection. Before anything decide whether or not the agent has the best interest at heart for you whether its as a seller or a buyer. My first agent kept telling me I was going to lose the house and I needed to put an offer over asking with every home I had a glimpse interest in. I quickly realized I was going no where with her and found Tamar Baber after calling into her office to ask for a home. I met her at a home I was interested in and not only did she explain the home buying process crystal clear but she also pointed out things in the home that were good and bad. Tamar really knows what she's doing and she is not PUSHY in anyway on buying the first home right away. When buying a home you want the realtor to be persistent and reachable. She would let me know if she was going to be unreachable for a couple of hours but she always found a way to communicate with me. I did see about 5 homes with Tamar and with every single one she gave me her honest opinion on my chances of getting the home in this high demand market and although it wasn't always the best news to hear at least I wouldn't get my hopes up on a house that was going to go past my price range. I actually only had to write 2 offers and the second offer was accepted because of Tamar's excellent work. She knows how to make your offer competitive and that's something that is key in the home buying process. She helped me though the whole process from beginning to end and even after the home closed. Tamar is a excellent real estate agent in short words. I closed on my home within a month in a half; beginning to end. I recommend her to EVERYONE! more

As my husband and I are from Australia where things are done differently, Michael was instrumental to our understanding of the America housing market. We relied heavily upon his advice and opinion, we really trusted him especially as he became familiar with our persona, likes, dislikes and needs. Michael always followed through with his promises and we found was always willing to go out of his way to show us a house. At times when I asked to see a house I may have had to have waited until the next day as he was already busy with other things, but usually I got him in the AM the following morning, but saying that we did get to see a lot of houses the same day I asked to see them which was so helpful as I am incredibly impatient. We asked a ton of questions (again as we are foreigners) and he was very happy to answer them every single time without hesitation, complaints and gave us very appropriate responses and explanations. I found the home we purchased, it just so happened to be the weekend Michael was out of town for a family event. We were able to quickly set up a viewing (then a second for my husband), then an inspection with other members of the Findwell team, they were super helpful and very quick to organise what I needed. Michael was at the house on the Monday for the house inspection where we asked his personal opinion on the house and he was on the same page as us, that we found a good one. We were always worried about paying to much as this housing market is just insane here, however as nervous as we were about what we offered, seeing the other offers at the end, we know Michael was spot on with what he advised us to do. We actually came in second, but the winners changed their minds so we were next in line and were incredibly happy about that. I purchased my first home with Michael’s help and I couldn’t have been happier with the job he did. Throughout the entire process he was professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. He took my complete lack of real estate knowledge in stride and answered (honestly and candidly) every dumb question I could come up with. I'd highly recommend Michael to be your real estate agent for buying home. In a sellers market with less inventory, it is too difficult for a buyer to get the right home at right price. Plus, if you are a first time buyer, you wouldn't be aware of the market, real estate process etc. I have heard that few agents pressurize clients to buy home even thought it might not be in the best interest for client. Working with Michael helped us get the "right home at the right price". He knows about real estate really well. He knows what to look for in a house. He took care of the entire process - finding right home, getting the right inspectors, getting the repair done in house after inspection, helping me understand about the real estate process, and doing whatever is needed. Michael is down to earth and approachable. He was patient with the ignorance that we, as first time home buyers, brought to the table and explained everything we asked in as much detail as we required. He was never pushy. There were a few times that my husband and I looked at houses that we thought were solid. Though Michael made it clear this was our decision and he'd support us in whatever choice we made, he also pointed out in more than one instance that the houses we thought were good were over priced. While many Realtors would probably jump at the chance to get a good deal and move on with other clients, Michael always did extensive comps and research and gave us an educated opinion. Because of his extensive knowledge and honesty, we completely trusted Michael when we did find "The One" and he gave it the thumbs up. There are a LOT of Realtors in Seattle and from viewing lots and lots of houses, I got the chance to see quite a few in the field. Sometimes when multiple couples are viewing a house at once things can get a little competitive. I saw another Realtor be VERY rude to Michael. Though he could have snapped or been sassy back to this guy, Michael kept his cool and was diligently professional-- but, of course, firm. We still got to view the house we wanted :) When it came down to the actual offer, Michael and his team had it down to a science. There are SO many factors at play. Michael had informed suggestions on what to do in each instance. Now, I'd assume that the actual document that the Realtor prepares doesn't matter much and the biggest factor is the offer price. While I'm positive that's mostly true, I do want to point out that the Listing agent specifically mentioned that Michael's offer was well written. Something Michael did made our offer stand out-- maybe he was more thorough or professional. Maybe he was just nicer and less sleazy.They worked as an amazing team. Our offer beat out another pre inspected CASH offer at the end of the day. We got our dream house! more

We worked with Michael in 2014/2015 to buy and sell our home. He is very approachable and friendly, and we felt comfortable with him right away. Michael knew the market extremely well and gave us invaluable advice about the timing of bulling/selling. We made a quick decision that we wanted to place an offer on a home, and he worked quickly to put together a very competitive offer while on vacation with his family. Tamar did an excellent job in marketing the house and holding open houses on a consistent basis. She was knowledgeable in having the house presented in the best light, while minimizing the costs of those touches. She worked very hard in overcoming some obstacles in the closing process. In addition, because this was a divorce sale, Tamar had to deal with a large number of issues that to be honest were not directly related to the duties of a realtor, yet she handled them appropriately and efficiently, allowing the closing to happen in a much smoother fashion than it would have without her efforts.
