Best

not only do you get to watch the sox play in the summer, we got to watch the bruins play in the winter , not a bad deal. hockey and baseball combined what more could i ask for.....

Worst

No doubt about it, We need a new park. Fenway is nice to visit if your a tourist, but if you frequent enough games during the season, the comfort level drops really quick. Build o...

Worth every penny! 6/19/2004

The seats are tiny, the tickets, food and souveniers are expensive and then there is the question of where to park. Even so, I make the trip to Boston (from Maine) at least once per season and always have a fantastic time. The atmosphere at Fenway is phenomenal, the fans are immensly loyal and I get chills every time a ball goes soaring over the green monster. I would recommend visiting this historic park at least once. If you aren't a Red Sox fan when you enter, hopefully you will be when you leave :) Pros: Nostalgia, Excitment, MLB's most loyal fans Cons: , No parking..., Did I mention $$$? more

quirky but NOT free 1/29/2004

While it's a great old ballpark, the access is pretty limiting, the seats are tiny, and this attraction is far from free. If you just want to walk around the park, it won't cost you anything, but trying to buy a ticket and the concessions that go along with a ballgame will set you back a pretty penny. Even thought they offer a tour of the park, that costs money too. Pros: good sightlines, authentic old park, nice sunny seats Cons: , no parking available, too high prices more

saramic loves fenway! 1/28/2004

1st of all, I am not baseball's biggest fan. We took a tour in June while the Red Sox were in L.A. BUT, the second you enter the vacant park, it comes to life within you. the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, the history encourages that feeling even more. Check out the dents in the green monster. Everyone in Boston kept asking ""Have you been to Fenway yet?"" Now I can say ""yeah brother, I've been to Fenway"" and it ranks way up there in life's experiences for me..& it was my wife's idea! Pros: history, history, history Cons: , none, none more

THIS IS THE CENTURY... !!! 8/18/2003

On May 3rd 2003 I had my first taste of the MONSTER SEATS. What an AWESOME view!! I can't believe its taken so long to add seats on the Green Monster wall. If you can get seats you wont be dissappointed. The only drawback to seeing a lot of games at Fenway is, what else, concession prices. They will always be high. Pizza will sometimes look undercooked, subs too small, beer will spill, hotdogs are awesome though. Fenway Dogs are cool too. Bathrooms relatively clean. Sometimes Anti-Yankee fans get out of control and yell, "Yankees Suck!", even though they are 5 games ahead of Boston. It actually makes more sense to say, "Red Sox RULE!" or "This is the CENTURY!" Bashing the team in first place makes us sound insecure. When Yankee fans start chanting that we suck, then we'll know the BO-SOX are on their way to a championship. Pros: Yankees come to town, Catching a ball, Red Sox winning Cons: food prices ofcourse!, not catching a ball, Red Sox loosing more

Fenway Tour, only $9 7/8/2003

If you want to see Fenway and can't get a ticket, opt for the stadium tour. I went on a non-gameday, but I believe they offer them early on gamedays. The tourguides are informational and hilarious. I got to sit in the .406 Club, walk on the field, and stand on top of the Green Monster. The hour tour was amazing. Pros: Must-see, Air conditioned more

EXPENSIVE 5/24/2003

You will need to take out a second mortgage in order to take your family to a ballgame. Boston is in dire need of a new stadium, but I don't see that ever happening. They practically sell out the entire season (without ever winnig a World Series...go figure) so I don't forsee any change in the near future. You're better off watching them on TV. Pros: Its the Sox, Its fun Cons: Very expensive, Inconvenient parking, Very Very expensive more

Fenway Park 5/24/2003

While Fenway Park certainly has a number of faults it is still a truly fun place to take your son and daughter. Hopefully, the new management will make some serious upgrades to the facility. Pros: live major league bas, good excitment, goodexperencefothkids Cons: their obvious more

Save Fenway? Dump Fenway. 4/26/2003

over priced tickets, over priced beer ($6.50), putting your life at risk sitting in the bleachers and the food sucks. If you want real baseball can I suggest Wrigley, Yankee Stadium, heck even Shea and that place is pretty bad too. Save your money, pick another vacation spot and just watch the game on tv, it'll be better than being there. Cons: The T is pretty bad, watered down beer, fans can be jerks more

The Fen 1/19/2003

Fenway Park stands the oldest park in the Major Leauge baseball. Over 15 years now, the Red Sox has been planning to build a new ballpark, despite of the fans trying to stop them from knocking down a major piece of Fenway Park, the owners has agreed to stop the plan for the next couple years. Pros: Smell of Hog Dogs, The Green Monster, The fans going wild Cons: Crowded, Dirty Bathrooms more
