Best

not only do you get to watch the sox play in the summer, we got to watch the bruins play in the winter , not a bad deal. hockey and baseball combined what more could i ask for.....

Worst

No doubt about it, We need a new park. Fenway is nice to visit if your a tourist, but if you frequent enough games during the season, the comfort level drops really quick. Build o...

IT IS NOT 1920 ANYMORE!!!!!! 5/2/2007

let me start out by saying i LOVE the red sox, but fenway park is a joke!! forget this nostalga stuff (i guess all you fenway lovers like to sit in front of your old time mono radio and listen to the games instead of your wide screen hi def tv, and of course you take your horse and buggy to the game!) lets get real! it is way too small , very very uncomfortable ,horrible food , and the prices for every thing are just outragious!! , it is cheaper to fly down to baltimore and stay at a hotel and get great seats at camden yards(now thats a ballpark!!) than it is to go to a game at fenway with dredfull obstucted view seats! i live less than 15 miles away from fenway and i would rather stay home and watch the sox on tv even if i got the tickets for free!! NOT worth the parking nightmare or the uncomfortable overcrowded seats Pros: historic place Cons: everything else!!! more

NOMAR WAS NEVER BETTER THEN JETER 4/21/2007

Fenway is a classic old stadium --one word... character-it brings you back to the days of old when people where smaller and life was simpler.. The Food is average --stick to hotdogs and sausage --do not go with anything else-- The tap beer (bud light) will stay with you for 2 days --the bathrooms are tight and the people rude. With the new management the team and the city have gone totally corporate.. do not be conned into thinking this is an small market town team --they are not -look at the dunkin donuts signs on every wall (some in Japanese) and you will see for yourself..If your looking for a good time go when they are playing a bad team --ie the DRAYS or the Royals.. You will hear less of the trash that has become the norm and has made this Place a terrible family event.. The other thing is the ticket prices which have become outrageous. Pros: character -history-classic lines-watching manny in left Cons: price, parking, people, tap beer, seats more

Best Stadium in the MLB 4/11/2007

Fenway is the best stadium period. Sure it might have high prices, tiny seats, and obstructed views but the atmosphere in and around the park makes it all worth it. When you go to other cities like New York or Chicago you can go into a sporting goods store to buy a team jersey or hat. However, when you got to Boston every vendor in the city has at least one type of Red Sox memoribilia in their store. I was at the Boston aquarium and they were selling Red Sox keychains in the gift shop! This just goes to show that the Red Sox aren't just part of the city, they are the city. I was in Boston one time and I didn't even have a ticket to the game but just walking around the park before game time seeing the masses of people and all of the excitement before the game was an amazing experience. There is no other place on earth like Fenway! more

Awesome experience 3/20/2007

I go over to Fenway 2 or 3 times a year from New York, mainly because I love the Sawx. I would go more often but the prices are skyrocketing. That being said, it is easily one of the best baseball experiences, for Sox fans, and for baseball fans in general. It is a place whereyou can feel safe, bringing your wife, and little ones. I have been w/ the family, and without....(more fun without)!!!! It is family oriented outside on Yawkey Way, which is closed to ticket holders only, before the game. There are bands playing, clowns on uni-cycles, and jugglers all around. There is also some of the best sausage sandwiches I have ever had, along w/ BEER, and other drinks for the kids. Now when I walk into the PARK, i still get chills when I see the MONSTER, and the perfectly groomed grass...it is awesome. Also, make sure you don't leave your seat during the 7th inning stretch, as they will be playing Sweet Caroline, and the whole PARK sings along..............It is an awesome experience, every baseball fan should see at least once.......I hope they never tear it down!!!!!! Pros: It is awesome Cons: pricey more

Phoenix to Boston 3/20/2007

My Boyfriend is originally from New Hampshire so when he wanted to head back home for vacation I made it a point that we needed to see a Red Sox game! I mean walking into Fenway was unbelieveable!!! The people and the ambiance made the 7 hour flight so worth it!!! To the comment when a man said they need a new stadium....I can feel your pain but you have no idea how much Fenway park is soooo much better then the NEW Arizona Diamondbacks stadium! I think it would break the hearts of many red sox nation fans to build a new stadium! Being my first time there I can see how Fenway Park has a special bond to red sox fans. I plan on heading back this year to see fenway again and to cheer on the red sox while they play the diamondbacks in June!! Go Sox!!! Pros: Nada! Cons: Everything! more

My favorite place to watch baseball! 11/25/2006

I have been to several major league stadiums, and none of them compare to Fenway Park. The seats may be small, but you feel like you're a part of the game when you're there and the tradition and atmosphere are incredible. The Fenway Franks are great too! Pros: Great atmosphere! Cons: I recommend walking to the game rather than trying to find parking. more

Amazing Atmosphere, everyday is a great day! 7/16/2006

Fenway park is not just a place where our current baseball stars call home, but a place so rich and full of history. You can almost feel the baseball players of times past sitting in the seats with you. It's a place where your grandfather took your father and your father took you. There is a huge sense of pride and joy. It's always a happy place whether it is a rainy october day or a hot July night. You don't care because you are there with the Sox. The greatest place on earth. The Chapel, Fenway Park. Hailee Martin Pros: The music playing, fan interaction, sense of pride. Cons: stinks when the yankees win more

If you've never been its a must see 8/6/2005

Fenway park is someplace that is so rich in history. But the people and fans are so fun and the players so friendly. I love bringing my children to fenway it may be very expensive to eat and park but the experience is well worth it. If you are a fan of the Red Sox or a true base ball fan you have got to come to Fenway and help cheer us on. Don't worry if you are clueless on baseball there are enough fans who will help you out with a smile. more
