I knew my water heater was on its way out so I called for an estimate. Dale came out promptly and gave me a lot of information about a few choices I had that were affordable. I put it off until after the holidays and then it went out before I could schedule the replacement voluntarily. When Dale returned to install the new heater, he was quick, efficient, thorough - did a great job. I had hot water an hour after he was done. The only negative about any of it was how long it took from the day of my initial call to the time of the installation. The name of the company is Fast Water Heater and they advertise that replacement can usually happen in 24 hours. In my case, it was 5 days. The people in their scheduling office were very apologetic and I don't think it was anything they could have prevented - happened to be a type of heater that was either not kept in stock or was out of stock at their normal supplier so they had to search for one. But once that hurdle was cleared, it was smooth sailing. I have hot water again - LOTS of hot water. Thank goodness. more

The estimate was fair and reasonable based on my research of other companies offering Water Heater Installation in the area. I was impressed that when I called, they stated they could get someone out the same afternoon. I had a water heater fail and flood the utility room floor on Tuesday night. I was referred to Fast by Home Depot when I went there Wednesday to look at options to have it replaced. Gus Luna at Fast was clear and concise about the options available when I called on Wednesday afternoon. Thursday AM, Kevin Yarnell showed up on time and ready for the job, with all parts needed in the truck. He took out the two old heaters (one had failed & been bypassed a few months ago), installed the new one, and worked with me to redesign the system and safety valve egress so that the flooding should not occur again. He also pointed out some below-code plumbing unrelated to the water heater and explained how I could correct it. Good job. more

We had an emergency need for water heater replacement in Salem, OR. As out of the area landlords, we were pleased to be able to contact FAST and have a plumber on the job the same day and the water heater installed and working. We would call them again. They worked well with us and the renters. Our only disappointment was the extra fees at the time of installation for additional items not included in their quote. more

They came out to my house in an emergency. I had troubles with bad equipment and was on my third heater. I called Lowes and they called Fast. They came out the next day and installed the water heater in record time. They were very helpful,courteous and fast! more

Northwest Gas company recommended these guys, so after our hot water heater blew up, we called. They came out immediately and gave us an estimation. After being told it was ok to do the work, they were out the next day and had all the work done in one day. AAAA+++++ all the way!!! more

I noticed my water heater was leaking and discovered I needed a new water heater fast. We purchased a new water heater at Home Depot, who recommended Fast Water Heater Company. I was thinking I could do the install myself to save some money and to get the job done quickly. I’m a bit nervous when it comes to dealing with the natural gas hookups so decided to have the work done by Fast Water Heater Company. I’m sure glad I did. I call Fast Water Heater Company and was surprised to learn they could come out the very next day which was a Sunday! Ian, the tech arrive on time (rare these days) and surveyed the install job. He gave me a honest appraisal of the true cost of the job, which was not what I was original lead to believe by Home Depot. He didn’t try to push the extra’s which I greatly appreciated. Once I agreement to an estimate; he got right to work as I cleaned my garage. Mostly I watch him, learning new pluming techniques I was unaware of. Job was done in 2 hours, allowing me to go watch my son play in Hoopla. I got my new water heater install fast, on a Sunday by a very professional and friendly technician. Ian got the job done for $30 dollars less than the he had quoted by some reengineering of the existing vent work. Appointment was made 1 week prior and the time frame was adjusted once due to a prior job delay (which can be expected). When the installer arrived he was friendly and got right to work getting the job done efficently and in a timely manner. My only concern was an extension cord from the water heater that needed to be plugged in permanently. more
