It was very nice working with you and it was nice to know that someone was watching out for me, as you know it is difficult when the person selling is out of state. You have a great benefit in selling homes in the Wells for people as you live there also and I would be glad to let anyone else selling in the Wells a great recommendation of your work! I have purchased several home in the past but this was by far the most enjoyable experience we have had. It was very kind of you to go the extra mile and explain the city, where we could find appliances, furniture, and house hold goods which saved us a lot of time and effort. more

I am an even keel person and can deal with a lot of different things life puts in my path, but with Farnsworth Realty & Management I lost my cool. As a Joke the one thing the redneck comedy tour learned me is you can't fix stupid!! To explain my experience this might take a while but it's worth it if no one rents from them ever again! ""DON'T DO IT!! I was looking at renting a property with two friend's and they are the property managers of, in the Gilbert area. Looking back at everything now there is no way I would/will ever do business with them again and told my friends this might be the best $40 application fee I have ever spent ($40 I will never see again) I was viewing the property across the street from Farnsworth's property and noticed their sign out front so I called to find out more about it and was told by a lady in the office all I need to do is email her a photo of my I.D. from my phone and she will give me the code to get access to the lock box with the key to the house inside. Thought it was a little weird but did it and was happy with the property except it need some new paint for the most part. My friends and I wanted to take the next step and fill out the application so we found out what we needed to do to apply. It started out like any other application first months rent and a deposit the same as first months rent no big deal then we find out there is a pet deposit for $310 per pet which we have two pets that is none refundable, then they wanted $500 because they said we don't have rental history (my friends owned their own homes for the past four to five years) Next we find out there is a $100 lease signing fee, and by the end of it we found out we would have to spend three times the rent just to move in. After all these added fees and everything else I had had it, and to top it off they will not change the locks unless we paid an added $200 to have a lock smith come out and do it and there was not promise they would have the dirty walls painted when we move in. I am not sure what world they live in but thieve's are everywhere and they could easily copy the key with a fake I.D. and just wait for you to move in to take everything you have worked so hard to get. Now this is my personal experience with them but from what I read from others they will nickel and dime you every chance they get so buyer/renter/owner beware!! Me I will never do business with them ever again!!!! The sad thing is it took me getting upset with them form them to remember who I even was and why I was doing there. Thank the lord it was only a $40 application fee and not a whole year with them. more

This company is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. Not only do they only fix stuff when you threaten them with a lawyer, but they charge you all kind of random charges when you go in to pay your rent. I have been charged for two certified letter, one that was NEVER received, at 55.00 a piece, ha for legal costs! The first one was because they said I was default on rent. KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS! Trust me, you will need them, because the office staff is so unreliable and no one has any idea what is going on, nor do they have record when they receive money from you. more

WORST REALTY & MANAGEMENT COMPANY EVER. 4/12/2011

I PAID ALL MY RENT AND NOW THEY SAY I OWE THEM $113 IN RENT AND $55. NONE OF THESE THINGS WAS EVER PUT IN THE LEASE. THE THINGS THIS COMPANY IS CONSISTENT WITH IS LYING AND STEALING FROM THEIR TENANTS. RENTER BEWARE!! more

$80 in Late Fees for being 1 hour late in rent 3/1/2011

Unfortunately the constant lack of respect and outright audacity of this company has led me to writing a review for the first time in my life. I have now been in communication with Farnsworth for over 5 months and have not had a pleasant experience. At first, everything was fine until I called on a maintenance request. The shut-off valve to the toilet began to leak water all over the place, because of its location it was impossible for me to stop the water from leaking. It took them over 72 hours to send a maintenance man! I was very patient and calm the first 24 hours, and began to call twice a day for the next two days. They finally sent someone when I had an attorney friend of mine send a note saying that it was unsafe living conditions and they had to fix it or I had all legal authority to vacate the property. Two weeks later rent was due. I had no reservations on paying it, and I did. The payment is due by 6:00 P.M. on the 1st of the month. My payment went through at 6:05 P.M. via their online system on the 1st. In return I was charged a late fee of over $25 and a legal notice fee of $55 for a letter that was mailed out after the rent payment has been made. Thinking this was a mistake I called them and they replied that it was no mistake. 5 minutes is 5 minutes and the payment is late....I am being charged $80 is fee's for being 5 minutes late on my rent. And to top it off, I have never been late once! Ultimately it is your decision, but I do not think that the frustration is worth the $30 a month you might save in rent. more
