Nice people and shopping experience. 10/7/2013

The shopping at Family Abbey Carpet & Floor itself was not a problem. I had a few problems with the installation and haven't heard back from them about that yet. When I was in there shopping and looking for the flooring, Family Abbey's people were very helpful. They were always right there with me, answering any questions I had and making sure they didn't leave me wondering or waiting. My one complaint about the experience comes from a big knot near the doorway. We got vinyl flooring installed, which has to be very smooth. It looks like a glob of glue or something was left under that part. The installer had to have seen such a big knot, but we haven't heard back from him at all. Other than that irritation, Family Abbey did a good job. I didn't have any personal issues with any of the people, either. more

The people from Family Abbey Carpet & Floor were just very nice. The whole experience of getting carpet put in my home was a nice one. They were very thoughtful with the way they moved all of my furniture and other stuff like that! more

With Family Abbey Carpet & Floor, it's more of a one-on-one experience. They take the time to talk to you a lot, and are more personal than bigger stores. I dealt with Renee directly when they carpeted my entire house. more

100% great service 8/22/2013

Service was great and Family Abbey Carpet did a good job. They pulled up my old carpet and pad and replaced both. The only thing I don't like is that it shows more track than I thought it would. more

I bought some carpet for my home and I used to do business with them also. I'm very satisfied with the carpeting in my home. I would use them again. Floor replacement 7/28/2013

They did the job at the price they quoted, in the time they quoted, and with the quality they promised. Rene was more than helpfull in the material, colors, manufacturer choice. Not to mention laying out all timelines and expectations at the front end I would recommend them without reservation. And by the way I have used them more than once. Steve Jax. more

Good experience throughout, and our vinyl looks great! 7/23/2013

We used Family Abbey Carpet & Floor to put vinyl tile down from the front door to the utility area in the back of our home. There was a lot of it! The work was done in good time and came out looking great. From the time we went in to choose our pattern, it was a fine experience. more

Family Abbey Carpet and Floor was very helpful. I worked with Renee and they really helped me figure out what I wanted. They helped me with different textures and weaves and what they do/don't do or the pros and cons. The work was done well and I felt educated about my flooring decision. more

Great and welcoming service. Rene took her time showing us many choices at different price points and carpet grades. The installers were very professional, polite and knew their stuff. We highly recommend the trek to Family Abbey Carpet after you visit the big box stores to see what shopping for carpet can really be like. more

Wouldn't even consider a competitor 5/29/2013

I have no complaints about Family Abbey Carpet and Floor- I have used them for years in all 3 of the homes I have lived in. Most recently, Renee went to great lengths to find hardwood floor that was being discontinued for my home. She found it and sent out a great craftsman to lay down the wood. The installer was very professional and friendly and the wood is just beautiful! Their carpet and rugs are the same, and their service is just very accommodating and very nice. Renee is good at her work; She knows her job and is good at it. Before she owned it, her dad did, and he was great too. I wouldn't even consider using a competitor. more

Could not be happier with the product and service 5/24/2013

My wife and I could not be more pleased with the quality of the carpet nor the service we received from Rene, Bill, and the entire team at Family Carpet. After placing our order, we then had an unusual change in circumstances in that my wife had to have fairly major surgery, and it was scheduled for the day after the installation was to be completed. This meant we had to leave the team of installers in our house while we went to her pre-op meetings. We completely trusted them, and the work they did was very professional. It was very nice to bring her home from the hospital to a home with brand new carpet. Thanks for everything! more

When the Family Abbey Carpet & Floor installation crew came in, they moved all my furniture and set the flooring down. The removed all the carpeting in the living room and the hall and added a layer of plywood floor before installing the new flooring. I thought they were wonderful. The people at the store and their installation crew were all friendly. Their installers worked very hard, never slacking off and working meticulously on the job. I would recommend them to anyone. In fact, I recommended them to my mother. more

The customer service was incredible. 3/25/2013

I did not know there were business that gave this much consideration and service, especially to older people. We did all we could to get all of the small stuff out of the way, but there's a lot of physical activity we can't do for ourselves. The help from the installers was far beyond what a "5" rating would indicate. more
