BEST COMPUTER SHOP, imaginable. I came in with a Windows 8 computer, and Expercomp staff explained to me how terribly unpopular it is and difficult to use. Within a day, they had Windows 7 installed, and I will never look back. GREAT SERVICE / Great Rates / SPEEDY turn-around. They did such a good Job, I took my son's SLOW Laptop in, and Instead of a Virus removal, for No Charge, they diagnosed the hard-drive was going bad. I opted to have the hard-drive replaced, and for NO additional CHARGE, these guys copied the data from the old hard-drive. Try to get that kind of service from Geek Squad. Once in awhile you find a real gem -- This place is the best imaginable for Computer Services. more

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I had pretty much diagnosed the issue that I was having with my computer and when I took it in, Mike agreed with my assessment regarding the MCP chipsets overheating. While I could have probably done the work myself, I thought I would let someone who does this type of work on a daily basis do it this time as it had to do with the main motherboard and one small mistake could ruin it. I asked him how long it would take to remove the heat sync for the affected chipsets and re-apply the thermal compound and he told be basically an hour to an hour and a half and would be ready the next day (Thursday). I completely understand that emergencies arise and sometimes things take longer than they should, however, there should be some type of communication when that happens. I left the system for him to work on early Wednesday. I called Thursday to see if it would be ready and did not get any return call that day. I decided that on Friday, I'd stop in to check since I was out running errands and he again told me that he should be able to get to it later that afternoon. I let him know that if he couldn't get to it, I'd like to take it back later that afternoon and do the work myself. 4:00 pm Friday rolled around and still no call. I ran over to the shop only to find a note on the door (they are supposed to be open 10-6) that they were closed and running to get parts. I can't even get my PC back now to try and do it my self nor can I trust them to give me any realistic time frame of when the work will be completed. This isn't a complaint on their technical skills or knowledge, but I have to say that their communication is the worst I've seen in a long time. more

These Guys are Very Helpful / Quick / Knowledgeable 12/26/2011

I brought my computer into these guys the day before Christmas, and, now the day after, it is done, and Amazingly fast. I tried for 2 weeks to get the viruses off the computer. I finally decided that falling behind on work was not an option, and the Geeks, and others in the area are not recomended. EXPERCOMP has very friendly staff - and very knowledgable and Helpful. I am glad to have my computer back - fully cleaned, and with better Virus Protection in place. more

Based on the other reviews, I so wanted to be pleased, and was very patient with this guy, knowing that sometimes with small businesses you do have to cut people slack with time frames, etc. But it got ridiculous. He took over a month to get my computer running, and at the end of the that time, it still wasn't up to what it originally was. He replaced some parts that were not of the same caliber as the originals. Parts I waited weeks for him to get. Really? Three weeks to get a part? Let's face it, it's hard to be without a computer for that long. When the parts did come, it was another week to get them installed. Also, here's a biggie--HE DOES NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS!. You have to actually show up at this door to find out what is going on with the repairs. A month later, still waiting for a part, I gave up and took it somewhere else. Do not be fooled by his low prices, you will pay in the end in aggravation. more

Top Notch! Knows His Stuff!!! 3/17/2011

Prompt service. Very professional. My laptop would not boot. He troubleshot it and fixed it when HP customer service had no clue and wanted to reformat and reinstall Windows. GREAT FIND!!! I'll be back if I have any computer issues! more

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND NOT VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO 1/24/2011

I took my computer in because I thought the hard drive had crashed. Mike was great with his price and he even brought it down from $250 to $180. I thought great - and then he called me the next day and said its not the hard drive - is the secondary hard drive (or the disc drive). Well a week later it was ready, I got it home and NO DISC DRIVE. It wasnt even there. I had to take it back. His initial reaction was .. oh yeah.. well it wasnt me who worked on it so I will fix and and call you. Its been over a week - and so I called him. Mind you I had already paid him for the work. He informs me that its not done yet because he had a bunch of customers who came in that he had to prioritize. I ALREADY PAID YOU! I asked him to clarify for me that he actually put me on the back burner of priorites because he had new business? REALLY? And then he hung up on me. I called him back and asked when it would be ready. He informed me should be ready today. He also told me that "" You know, I got really busy and I have to stay in business."" Yes Mike you do. And the way to do that is to do good business and to take care of business. Here is the kicker ... I sent a friend over there to get a key replaced on his lap top - MIKE BROKE THE KEY BOARD WITH THE CUSTOMER STANDING RIGHT THERE AND THEN CHARGED HIM OVER $90 TO FIX WHAT HE BROKE! He also told my friend to come back the next day at 10:00 am to pick up the NOW broken lap top.. of which Mike was not there and didnt answer the phone. My friend drove all the way over to Littleton from Aurora based on my recommendation - which I made after the initial contact. I PROMISE YOU MIKE - I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR SERVICES OR YOUR BUSINESS AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ON THAT END OF TOWN DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE WHO DOEST CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! more

WOW these guys have really good prices, much better than Geek Squad. Expercomp fixes computers and laptops so quickly I thought my computer would still have a problem, but no it was better than ever. Pros: Computers fixed as quick as you could say, ""Laptop""! more
