Recently purchased a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe and I'm nothing less than content. The staff was amazing, they treated me like family and overall made it a comfortable environment. If you decide to buy here ask for Hoyt Skyrme, incredible consultant. He was calm, understanding, and thorough throughout the entire process, which was relatively short being under 3 hours. First Class Cstomer Service 11/16/2011

From walking in, to walking out, our experience with European Motors was first-rate. Sam was great, no pressure and gave us a good, fair deal. My son got to make his first purchase of a pre-owned Chrysler 300, while drooling over the Lexus, Lotus and Infiniti, and I, as a Jaguar driver have found my next dealer. We drove 70 miles for the purchase on two separate occasions, and it was WELL worth it. Naz was outstanding, and the process was swift and painless. Thanks Sam and Naz and the crew. Outstanding. EM was best car buying experience in 30 years 8/2/2011

Naz is friendly, helpful, honest, straight, and understanding. She was only interested in helping me find the right deal for me. I test drove and loved the Lexus GS, but still had some reservations. She and I talked through my doubts and she was totally candid on the advantages and risks in buying a used car. She did not push or suggest I would be missing a deal. I bought and am very happy. I needed a couple of extras that were missing with the car and she immediately offered to take care of them. Plus, she took care of an extra that I wanted before I picked up the car and I had planned to pay for myself! Finally, she helped me get acquainted with the car's features. She followed up and made sure I was happy! I am not used to buying a used car, and realized that there are always risks. But she made this a positive experience beyond any I have had with prior purchases and made me feel that I have made a wise decision. I am a solid fan of EM now and will return there to buy without any reservations! RH more

Sam is terrific 7/30/2011

We are from Northwest Arkansas and looked for cars on line for several months. The used car market in our area is very inefficient and expensive compared to other parts of the country plus used car prices are rising. European Motors had the best deal on a 2008 Toyota Avalon and everything about the car looked good on line, in conversations with Sam and through CarFax. When we arrived in Addison to pick it up, things started to fall apart. During the test drive something felt wrong. The transmission and brakes felt different from what I would have expected compared to the 2002 Avalon we drive. When we returned to the dealership, Sam drove it and immediately agreed. The first thing he did when we got to his office was to hand us our cashier's check and said that was our first choice. However, if we would give them time to see what was wrong, he would personally see that the car was fixed to our satisfaction. We agreed to stay the night in Dallas to hear what Toyota said was the problem and would need to do in order to correct it. Russell (the owner) called us that evening apologizing for our inconvenience and confirming what Sam had told us. Turns out the transmission was a problem. While it was still in Warranty, the Toyota dealership simply wanted to replace a few parts. Sam took the lead insisting they replace the entire transmission with a new one and replace other parts of the system (such as the radiator) that were not working as he thought they should. Sam also corrected the brake issue and a couple of other minor issues at his own cost and ensured Toyota address two Recall items that had not been taken care of by the previous owner in California. After ensuring everything was in top condition, Sam then arranged to have the car shipped to NWA last week on a carrier so it would not incur added mileage. After driving it since then, we could not be more pleased. This is an extremely nice car. In every way (other than having the problem in the first place), European Motors performed well above what we would have hoped. They were concerned that a customer needed to be fully satisfied. The takeaway is that in our experience, the desire of Sam and Russell is to ensure their customers are pleased so they return for future purchases and refer others. It's unfortunate they have received the negative reviews written in this website. The problem they face is what any dealer in used cars faces - they do not fully know the use and condition of vehicles they acquire even if they make every effort to check them out. There is a reason European Motors has been in business for 30+ years - they care and respond when problems arise. One thing to note is that European is moving from its Addison location to Plano this summer. With this larger facility and shop, they will add the ability to do much greater diagnostics and repairs prior to and after a sale than they have been able to do previously. I realize we were fortunate that problems happened right away instead of after we returned home. That's the chance we as buyers take when we choose to get a big discount on the purchase price compared to a new car. That's also what a reputation and a Warranty is designed to address and Toyota and European Motors stepped up to their obligations - even beyond. Thanks to Sam for taking the lead in addressing every possible issue we might not have been able to achieve with our limited knowledge of what is possible. In summary, while we ran into issues we wish had not happened, the experience my wife and I had results in our highly recommending Sam, Russell and European Motors. We'll call Sam the next time we buy. more

ARROGANT AND RUDE SALES! I have been a customer of European Motors, recently I returned to check out their inventory and was helped by manager Sam, we talked about one vehicle but he did not offer to test drive the car, again I returned recently when I saw another car I like on their lot, he again refused to let me test drive the car and said you ""come by but never buy anything"" what a arrogant guy! in a economy that is difficult these guys don't do anything to earn your business, they seem to want to sell their mercedes only to ""high rollers"" with cash on hand but not to working class, I AM SO DISSAPOINTED with this cold reception that I will not give them my business again! unless you have cash on hand and perfect credit don't bother visiting these people they will look down on you, maybe next time I will take DATELINE on site to record their discrimination! more

Had best car buying experience with Sam! 6/5/2011

Best customer service, I will recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a good car with no hassle. Love their upfront and genuine approach with their customers, not once was I haggled. STRONGLY recommend this dealership, if you have a large franchise you are thinking about going to first, skip it and just go straight here! The amount of time I dealt with salesmen haggling me at another dealership was longer than the amount of time Sam at European Motors had me leaving in a new car. I love my Infiniti and it is in way better condition than the Infiniti's I saw on the large car dealer lots. Everyone was amazingly friendly and even the owner came out to talk with us and made us feel at home. Love this place!! more

Drove almost 4 hours to buy a car from them. Everything straight forward and honest. Brought a trade-in, and walked out with my new car in under 2 hours. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! And for the idiots below me that talk about ""lemons"". How can you be that stupid to sit there and sign stuff you don't know? READ BEFORE YOU SIGN!!...or request a carfax or autocheck.....are you really that lazy? The owner coming on here to respond to negative comments just shows you that they care how they treat their customers, new and old. more

Over 30 years in Business Speaks for Itself!! 1/28/2011

I was referred by a friend to this dealership. I looked through their online inventory and found a vehicle I was interested in. I called on the phone to set an appointment, the sales person I was referred to was off on the day I had planned to come. She gladley advised she would meet us on her day off to assist us if need be. AND SHE DID!! I pulled into the lot and the car I was interested in was waiting in the front along with the wonderful sales person. I took it for a test drive and was very impressed with the quallity of the vehicle!! The owner of the business took time out to introduce himself, and asked if we had any questions! IT WAS A NO PRESSURE ENVIORNMENT, I FELT LIKE A FRIEND INSTEAD OF A CUSTOMER. Needless to say we bought the BMW and absolutely love it! I would refer this business to anyone looking for a great dealership!! more

2nd Time Buyer w/ another GREAT expierence!! 12/21/2010

This is my second time buying a car from European Motors and I must say my expierence was just as great as it was the first time. My salesman SAM is great ( a regular guy and not pushy). From the first greeting as I walked through the front door to the last handshake as I left, I was made to feel like I was the most important customer that he had. He was willing to do anything possible to make sure that I left there with a vehicle that I felt good about and at a price that I was happy with. I was in the market for a used car..and I was dreading it... I have always bought new cars but due to the economy I had to go for a used car this time around. I am so happy I went to this place b/c Sam made my experience unbelievable. He gave me all the information I needed, made sure the car was what I wanted and that I was not settling, he was patient and very informative. I have dealt with high end dealers like BMW and Mercedes for many years and always enjoyed the way they treated me as a customer and how they were quick to provide excellent service. I truly felt the same way at European Motors. Thank you for the beautiful car and for making me feel like a valued customer. After traveling alot to places that rec'd bad reviews I decided I would not judge a place its reviews..and this is one of the times I am glad I went with my gut feeling! more

NVR BUY FROM HERE 12/19/2010

My husband and I went to buy a car from here drove over 2 and half ours and when we got there they DID come to an agreement. We had to leave do to our son needing a nap. My husband went back to do the deal and the sales manager WOULD NOT honor his agreement. After reading the reviews i am so glad we did not buy one of their ""LEMONS"". I am so glad that manager wouldnt hold up his end of the deal. There are millions of cars out there, DONT buy one of theirs. more

Beware... 8/27/2010

I bought a vehicle from Sam. Drove 250 miles to pick up. Little did I know it would have so many issues that would be found 2 weeks after buying. Here's the list of issues: Rear window didn't work properly, rust on interior, spare tire cut, and the horn didn't work. I promise you will get what you pay for here. Would not buy again or trust Sam's word. By his description there was nothing wrong with the vehicle.... I wish they had a 0 star rating as they would receive it. more
