Loyal Customer - Gone Forever 12/4/2013

We have been buying tires here for 15 years - NEVER AGAIN. They put deep gouges & scratches in 2 of our rims( on a $45,000 car). When we took the car back the next AM. Jeff (owner) tried to put it back on us and we "must have driven it along a curb". \r \r Really, we drove along a curb for a long distance to mess up almost half of the rims. He is going to have someone in Des Moines "buff it out".\r \r It is down to the bare medal in places. These are not cheap tires and they are $500 each to replace. I am thinking this will be a long battle. But one we will fight.\r \r DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.....they will not own up to their mistakes. They blame a long time loyal customer!!! more

Rip-off or mixup??? 11/22/2011

Was skeptical at first after reading all the negative reviews online, but took a chance anyways. After several years, and several different jobs in the automotive business, I've always been very cautious of where I've taken my cars. I want to be sure that the work performed on my cars is done right, the first time, and I want a honest quote on work that does, or does not, need to be performed.\r \r My experience at En-Tire was the exact opposite of what taking your car into a mechanic should be. Long story short, I was charged for work not performed on my vehicle. When this was brought to their attention, I was told there was a mixup between the technician and front desk. I do appreciate En-Tire admitting it happened, but only after I brought it to their attention. The owner, who was standing there the entire(no pun intended) time, never said anything. Had I not noticed, plus had proof that the work was not done, I would have been out that money, and not known the wiser. Which I'm sure i more

Very good and honest service 12/15/2010

Is it hit or miss depending on who does the job? \r I've been taking our cars to Tires Plus/ Entire Car Care for over 15 years. I am 99% satisfied. In all those years with 4 different cars there were only 2 minor things I didn't like: once an ignition wire wasn't properly seated, once a (new) technician didn't care to check what type of fluid was required to top of the transmission fluid.\r \r However, they went way beyond the normal in diagnosing a problem. It took significant man hours and they didn't charge me for them. \r However, I never found little fasteners loose or missing after repairs as it happened with so many other shops.\r However, they never failed to remind me to come for a re-torque after the alloy wheels were off.\r They called me when something came up, they called me when the car was done, they offered me rides to work when I left the car with them. They suggested to wait a month for new tires to take advantage of a promotion.\r With me they were friendly and honest. I c more

Great Service and Do what I Ask 10/26/2009

I have been using En-Tire for two years or so, mostly for the oil changes. Have had a couple of larger repairs with older cars that are driven by my teenagers. At times they have gone beyond my expectations doing additional (inexpensive) work without charge. They seem to understand that we don't want to put a bunch of money into these older cars and don't give you a laundry list of every item that will eventually need to get fixed. They repair what needs to repaired now, and consider you will return when other items need to be repaired when they become a problem. They answer my questions when I ask and I ask lots of questions more

Zero Customer Service, Questionable Value & Pricing 10/7/2009

I have several problems I'd like to address:\r 1: They continually said it would be done at a certain time, and kept pushing it later and later. They had our car for a week and a half!\r 2: Almost everytime we called, no matter who we were talking to, they were very rude. They sounded extremely inconvenienced by the fact that we were calling them to check on the status of the car.\r 3: We ultimately felt ripped-off, as though they were putting more hours on our car then necessary. Even though we asked them not to do certain things they quoted us for, the price was still about the same as the quote. \r \r We will NEVER return to Entire for any type of service. They obviously DO NOT value their customers. more

Entire Car Care is GREAT SERVIC 8/14/2009

Just read the reviews. Had 12 race tires and alignment on vehicle. The service was excellent and reasonable. The last post must be some one that doesn't watch his own tires when he picks them up to drive away without them being right. more

never again 7/14/2009

I brought in my Z-rated drag radial tire to be mounted because they do not carry the brand I needed but they were still recommended by friends. They are directional tires so I told them it was for the right rear tire and thought they could handle it. 30 minutes later I get it back, load it in my car and drive home to mount it. After jacking it up, removing the spare and ready to replace the tire, I realize they mounted it in the wrong direction. So I put my spare back on, drive 20 minutes back into town, wait 30 minutes for them to mount it correctly and drive home to try it again only to realize my chrome valve cover is missing and for them to claim it was never on the tire. I would not trust this shop to do anything to my car when they have a very tough time mounting a tire on a rim correctly and do not treat customers right, even when they mess up. more

Excellent service andrepairs 7/10/2009

We take all 3 of our vehicles to Entire for most of our auto repair and maintenance needs. We have always had wonderful service and the repairs have always been done correctly and they always call us for approval if there is more to repair then we already discussed. We have been very happy with Entire for the last 8 years and are still completely satisfied. more

Mixed Feelings 11/17/2008

I brought my car tire in to be patched, the service was mediocre and price was reasonable so I left satisfied that they got the job done. However, less then a week later my tire was flat again. I called to see when they could come out and help me out, little did I know that the conversation on the other end would be rude and downgrading to hear them say "we are doing you a favor, we will get there when we get there." So thanks, but no thanks. I will take my car elsewhere from here on out. more

What happened to the customer service? 8/20/2008

I was a customer at Entire for 5+ years, the keyword is was... Entire is by far the nicest shop in town with a great waiting area for customers. They built a new shop a year or so ago and it really does look great. \r \r The price is a little high but I felt obligated to go because Jeff donates a good amount of money to the school, kinda returning the favor so to speak. Now, I wouldn't go if Jeff donated his heart to my children. Sorry it's the truth. \r \r On a scale from 1-10 Jeff's customer skills are at about a 2. He acts like money is no object and does repairs that are over $400 without permission!!!! Maybe it's not much money to you Jeff, but to the rest of the world it is!!! His former employees Tyler and Paul? (not sure if thats his name) actually cared more about the business than Jeff, maybe they didn't but at least they acted like it. You can see it now that Jeff is there by himself. \r \r I hadn't made a visit to Entire since December of 2007, I went in for some basic stuff in t more

So long, Jeffy! 7/27/2008

After over ten years with you at Tires Plus and now at En-Tire Car Care I'm throwing in the towel. The last two oil change visits have been so unpleasant that I can no longer justify the emotional expense. Used to think your caustic and abusive attitude was kind of cute but now it's just tiring.\r \r I asked the kid on the way out, "When did Jeff turn into to such a miserable pussy?" and the kid said, "Don't know man; he's been like this since I've been here."\r \r Two cars with four or five oil changes each per year, minor repairs (a starter here, an alternator there, belts and hoses, pads) over the course of ten or twelve years. Maybe a couple thousand bucks over time? Maybe more?\r \r I'm kicking myself in the ass for every time I recommended you. Which I used to do. A lot.\r \r A coupon oil change is a coupon oil change, and anybody in town can swap out an alternator. I'm headed down the street.\r \r Via con Dios, mi amigo. Via con Dios. more

Horrible and Insulting. 7/23/2008

Went in for oil change and to check wear on brakes and said the wait would be 30 minutes - over an hour later they said it would be another 10 minutes and NEVER apologized for the delay. \r \r Said brake pads AND rotors were worn. Pads I expected, but had rotors checked 3 months prior and were barely worn. They showed me them, thinking I didn't know anything about cars, and I noticed they were NOT worn thin, nor groved AT ALL. Asked for caliper and specs to verify their findings and was refused. They quoted me nearly $600 for the job and when I said I would think about it and needed to get other estimates, the man was very rude to me. \r \r Horrible. \r \r I cashed in a favor with my brother, who did the job at home in 2.5 hours and for $35. My dad has a caliper, got the specs on the rotors and found the rotors were not even .01 worn. \r \r They saw a girl wearing pink and thought they would take advantage. I think not. \r \r Insulting more

Good Service 2/18/2008

I've been using these guys for at least 10 years. They do all my oil changes, and I've gotten tires for my last 4-5 vehicles from them. Always a good price and great service. more

Horrible customer service 11/14/2006

I was just in there about 2 hours ago to get an oil change and was treated very inconsideratly. The guy at the desk looked like he was mad that I was even there. I know your job sucks, but so do a lot of people's, quit taking it out on everyone!!! 1114 more

Good service, very fair pricing. 11/3/2005

I had ordered tires online and the shop installed and balanced them at a very affordable price. I was impressed with the quickness of service, as well. My boyfriend got an alignment and oil change. The alignment left the steering wheel crooked still, so they refunded the price of the alignment check. Very honest service. more
