I had Eastside Auto Care changed the oil in two cars. This was my first time using them. The price was a little bit higher than average but they did a good job. I was happy with their customer service. more

I've already recommended Eastside Auto Care. They're very good. They even have a shuttle service, so when I drop off my car, they pick me up in the shuttle. It's pretty good. The overall experience was very satisfactory. First, their rate is very reasonable. When there are problems, they identify them correctly, and if Dave thinks it has to be changed now, he will suggest you do so. If the issue is minor, he will also tell you so. For example, my check engine light started coming on, and they determined it was a catalytic converter issue. When Dave saw that, he asked how often has the light come on. I told him it was the second time, and he told me to make a change in where I fill it up. I go ahead and do that, I test it, and after three weeks, the light still hasn't come back on. I'm convinced some other place would have tried to rip me off. That's just one example of how they've given me good service. A second time, I had purchased some wiper blades. I asked Dave to install them, and he said okay but warned me that he had seen issues with them on other cars. About three weeks later, I found streaks on my windows. I really respect his experience and feedback. more

I visited them for a service. They were very efficient and did a very good job. They even told me what things I might need to get done in the future and everything was so reasonable. Bill and Dave are so honest and I have decided to go to them. Keep it up Dave and Bill!! more

I havent even gone but they are sooooo helpful. I called them with questions and they answered everyhting!! i wish i would of went there first i went to a another shop and they quoted me $3000 dollars for a job that is bearly $1000. They are a life saver!! Now i have learned my lession i will be taking my cadillac and my moms vehicle there from now on!!! Dont make the same mistakes as i did!!!!! more

I just discovered Eastside Auto Care not to long ago when my transmission fell out of my car. Their customer service is amazing as well as the pricing. They are not satisfied with their repair jobs until everything is done correctly. I have already recommend them to a few friends and I am bringing them my girlfriends car this week. more

I first found Eastside Auto Care through a promotion they were doing with my company. Now I've been going for about a year. Dave is always there. He is very fair, honest, and open. He tells me about the small issues and lets me fix them. He also does the minor things and doesn't tack on extra charges. more

We have been solid customers of Eastside Auto Care for about 2 years now. We have 3 personal vehicles and 1 company car, a Volvo, Toyota pickup, Corvette and a Toyota SUV, and they work on all of them for us. They always go beyond and do a little extra for us. Like when I got an oil change and my taillight was out, they went ahead and fixed the taillight for me and didn't charge me for it. When I asked them about it, they said "that's a courtesy" and they told me I shouldn't go anywhere they'd charge me for doing that. We gave our son our truck for his birthday, and I took it in for service beforehand and they wrote "good for a free oil change" on a business card for my son. I just thought that was so considerate of them and that's just how they are. They are very accommodating and always try to fit you in when they can. They are honest, whenever I go in there, they only fix what needs to be fixed. If it's something that can safely wait, they let me know that we can wait and see on it. I never feel like they take advantage of me at all. We highly recommend them to anybody! more

Eastside Auto Care incorrectly diagnosed, in my opinion, the problem with my vehicle. After I spoke to them for awhile, I was uncomfortable and took my vehicle to another repair agency. That shop tried to duplicate Eastside's diagnostic test and was unable to. They weren't able to find what needed repairing for $3000-$7000. I just got the feeling when I was there, that even after they suggested the amount of money to fix my vehicle, that they weren't really going to solve the problem which turned out to be an over-heating problem. I had oxygen sensors that failed the emissions test. I took my car to Eastside Auto Care. They gave me a pretty good deal. They were able to find parts that were equivalent in quality to the dealer but cheaper for me. They also offered a shuttle service to my work so it was not an inconvenience to me at all. more

I am a new customer of Eastside Auto Care, and was referred by another customer of theirs. I got to talk briefly to the owner of the shop before bringing my vehicle in. They have a fair amount of knowledge and they were flexible. I made the appointment ahead of time and they were able to give me a ride back to my work while they worked on my truck. That was pretty helpful. more

I have been a loyal customer of Dave's (owner of EAC) for years. As a car enthusiast and hobby mechanic/racer myself, I generally do most of my own work. When the job is out of my skill set Dave is the only one I trust to take my any of my vehicals to. He is the most honest straight forward, trustworth mechanic I have ever done business with and I always recommend him to others that need work done. Eastside Auto Care was absolutely excellent. They were so accommodating, very very friendly, and a lot of help. I would definitely recommend them. Not only did they do the oil change I needed, they saw some green paint on the side of my car and removed it for free. They went above and beyond. more

I've taken my car to Eastside Auto Care several times. The first time it was for my air conditioner, cruise control, and the windshield wiper fluid sprayer. They fixed everything for $180, which was especially amazing because my personal auto place wanted to charge $180 for the sprayer alone. I was really happy with the price, and I was really happy with the work. They made it really convenient to rent a car too, driving me over to the rental place. It was a great experience, and I was very happy. In fact, I was so happy I brought my sister's car to them after that. more

When I called Eastside Auto Care they gave me a quote, and they actually threw in a couple of extras, free of charge, like an oil change, so I was extremely impressed with that. I brought in an estimate from a dealership that recommended a couple of things that needed to be done, but when Dave looked it over he told me that the estimate was inaccurate. He could have easily charged me to do those things, but he didn't, and I was impressed that he was so trustworthy and honest. For that reason, I would definitely recommend my friends and family, and I intend to return there whenever I need to. more

I think the main thing is that they don't want to trick you into doing unnecessary repairs. They are willing to take a look without charging you. They treat their customers very highly. They value a long term relationship with their customers. more

So far, my experience with Eastside Auto Care has been great! Dave has been really helpful. I've dropped my car off several times, with no appointment, which I feel really bad about but they were emergencies. He's been able to get to it pretty quickly. He diagnoses the problem and lets me know what the costs of repairs will be. A couple of times, I haven't been able to afford the repairs right then, and he's let me take my car home and it's not been a problem. Eastside Auto Care has always fit me in during emergency situations. They take care of the problem and they get it done right! It has been a great experience with Eastside Auto Care. They have done a starter for me, worked on my brakes, and have taken care of electrical issues on my wife's car. I've been using Eastside Auto Care for a couple of years now. Eastside Auto Care is excellent. Last week we went in to get the breaks done, and they were awesome! They did it in the time they said, and for the price they said. They were courteous too, and answered all our questions. The truck broke down a week later, so we brought it back and they still have it, but it was not their fault. more
