We had been to our dealership for an unspecified problem. They weren't able to figure out what was wrong. We brought it to Eastside Auto Care, and within 10 minutes, Dave was able to isolate and identify the problem. He figured out a way to work around not having the part right then, it's now on order. It was uncanny really! I think if you're looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy shop, there's no need to look any further. There are three really important things we all need in life: 1. I recently went to Eastside Auto Care for the first time. I brought my car to them for engine work, because my regular auto maintenance place is a smaller company, and doesn't do those kinds of repairs. It was a great experience. They were very efficient with their time, and got right to the root of my problem. They ended up saving me a few hundred dollars by working so efficiently. I found them to be very helpful and informative, as well. Being a first time customer, it's hard to evaluate a company completely. However, given my initial experience with Eastside Auto, I would definitely use them again. And if I had the same experience again, and I felt that a good rapport was built, I would have no trouble becoming a loyal customer. more

Dave from Eastside Auto Care was very helpful and informative. He took time to explain things clearly to me and I really appreciated it, especially since I don't know much about cars. Eastside Auto Car is really outstanding! I give it 5 stars across the board! Dave is an easy guy to work with. Both my son and I use him. He is very conscientious of what the costs are going to be, and he never does anything without getting your okay for it, so there are no surprises when you get the final bill. I have been seeing Dave since before he had his own shop. Now that he has Eastside Auto Care it has been really cool to be able to call him directly should I have a problem with a car. I have had a lot of cars, and I own multiple vehicles. I enjoy working on cars myself, and if I can't figure something out Dave is the person I go to every single time. I have two Integras that he has worked on, a Mustang that I am restoring in his shop right now, and a really sweet Nova that he worked on not even a month ago. I am super satisfied with Dave. He is quick to figure things out, and he never hesitates to tell me if I have a bigger problem. Both he and Brenda are cool, nice people, and it is a good atmosphere. They have good customer satisfaction and customer retention. The entire business is successful. I am very pleased with them all the time. My truck was running bad and I took it into another shop where it was diagnosed as a bad transmission. I took it to Eastside Auto Care, and turns out all it needed was a tuneup. They saved me over $3000! I'll definitely be going back there. I think the biggest thing is that you can trust them to be straight with you. They want you to get your car back as quickly as you want it back. more

I think that the prices are great at Eastside Auto Care. Dave is very honest and always willing to work with you in ways that won't break the bank. He takes care to explain everything that needs to be done and why. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them. more

The value, the service, and everything about how Dave has helped me is rated at a 5. I have had some pretty severe car troubles the last few months, and Dave, at Eastside Auto Care, has always been quick to respond, give accurate and more than fair quotes, and has done everything in a reasonable amount of time. I have an older car, a 1991 Mitsubishi, and after bringing it in once, something completely unrelated broke shortly after. Shortly after that something else happened too, again completely unrelated. He always got the car out the same day, and with the last issue, which was a patch job on a metal hose, he didn't even charge me. He is really great at finding parts for cheap, which helped me out a whole bunch. He did a lot of work he didn't have to do to find the best deal for me. I know quite a bit about cars, and I bring it to him because I know he is good. Dave was always straightforward with me. He is one of those mechanics you can trust. It is important with older vehicles to find someone who is not going to rip you off or charge for something they didn't actually do. I found Eastside Auto Care, Inc. online and it was the only auto care place with consistently great reviews so I decided to take in my wife's 2000 Jeep Cherokee in to have major service performed. The car had 80k miles and nothing had ever been done to it other than regular oil changes and the occasional air filter replaced. I knew it needed all the fluids changed out; new spark plugs; the leak in the differential taken care of; and the brakes looked over because they were squeaking something awful. The car also needed new shocks (which I had purchased at OReillys and were in the back of the car). I told Dave (the owner at Eastside Auto Care) that I was going to install the shocks myself at home to save some money. Dave looked over the car and gave me a list of things that needed attention (nothing really new to me) so I set up an appointment for the following Monday to have the work performed. He said it would take about a day to do all the work and it did. When I came to pick up my car, he took me into the garage and thoroughly showed me what they did. As an added surprise, Dave also installed my shocks at no cost! He went on to say the original bolts holding the shocks in place were pretty rusted and broke off when removing the old shocks. This could have been disastrous if I had done this at home. Dave tapped out the old broken off bolts and installed the new shocks with new nut and bolt sets. He said he decided to install the shocks because the bolts on the jeeps can sometimes be a problem and he didnt want me to go through an ordeal. WHO IS THIS GUY??? NO BODY TREATS YOU LIKE THIS!!! He is like having a brother in the car repair business making sure everything is done right at fair price. Dave also rolled in all the discounts he has advertised into my bill without me asking for them. If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable repair shop that will treat you and your car right, STOP LOOKING, THIS IS IT!!! Im recommending him to everyone! more

I decided to use Eastside Auto Care based on a referral from a friend. I have had a good experience with them, no surprises. They are very knowledgeable, and they diagnosed and fixed everything correctly. They have worked on 4 vehicles for me. They did a safety inspection on my son's car, brake work on my wife's car, replaced an AC unit in our Jeep, and rebuilt the motor on the fourth car. Everything has turned out well. I like it when people are direct and to the point. I had an issue with my vehicle, and when I brought it to Dave at Eastside Auto Care he just asked me two questions. We walked out to the car, he showed me something, and sure enough, that was it. That was my first time using them, and whenever I have an opportunity to recommend them to people in the area, I do. What really struck me was the level of world-class service they provided. They made me feel at home. No question was taboo, and I didn't feel bad asking any questions. He is always willing to explain things clearly in layman's terms without making the listener feel stupid. He states clearly the problem and the cost of the repair. It is fantastic service. more

I moved to the area a year ago and found Eastside Auto Care under Microsoft Prime. I really like them and have continued to use them. They are very fair, honest, and down to earth. What you see is what you get. They also are very thorough and they do quality work. They have worked on multiple cars for me. If you have an issue, you call them and they're happy to look it. Just because their shop looks small, don't let that deter you! more

I know Dave through the last place he worked. I continued going to the original shop after he left, and I did not find the service to be close to the level of when Dave was there. He did not recruit me, but I sought him out to look at a few issues I was having. Dave, now at Eastside Auto Care, was able to diagnose the issues quickly. He was able to set up a time to get the problems resolved, and got the issues fixed very quickly. Honesty is hard to find in a mechanic, and Dave embodies honesty. more

I have been using Eastside Auto Care since they opened this past December. Dave is awesome. I have a Subaru Outback with 240k miles on it, and Dave is the only guy I will let work on it. He is honest, he does not overcharge, and he does great work. He keeps it running all the time, and it will probably go to 300k miles the way it is going. more

I had a great experience using Dave at Eastside Auto Care. He used to be a mechanic at another shop, and when I heard he opened a new shop I tracked him down. He is a highly skilled technician. He fixed a transmission issue I had in my last car that 10 different mechanics hadn't been able to fix. Dave was able to fit me into an appointment to take care of a new clutch I needed in a car I had just purchased. He really went above and beyond. There were some special tools that he needed and tracked down from a different mechanic, but he still finished it in a timely fashion. He did a great job replacing the clutch at the time promised and the price promised. I was very pleased with the work. You will be in amazing hands if you take your car to Eastside Auto Care. Dave has been in the business of fixing cars for years and years. He has experience you can trust to take care of your car. He will go the extra step and go above and beyond if there is an issue with any of the repairs. I am highly satisfied with the results that have come out of working with him. more
