Luke and Berry and braved the Hot temps in the Attic to quickly complete some A/C duct work that no other company would take on in this heat, They were prompt and curtious and were very accomdating to ensure the work was done before my partner got home from the hospital. They are both are excellent workers and I would recommend them to all my friends and family. more

Josh Turner was great. He was very nice and figured out what was going on with my thermostat. But the guy in the office that I spoke to is another story and really annoyed me. When the tech is ""way up north"" and not done tell the customer that. Dont just tell them ""he is finishing up and then on his way"". I waiting almost 2hrs for the tech to finally get to my house. Had the guy in the office told me Josh was ""way up north"" in the 1st place I could have gotten things done that I needed to while I waited the 2hrs... more

Prior to calling Austin Drain and Air Rescue, I had very bad experiences with HVAC repair. My yearly tune-ups were done by one company, but i was dissatisfied with their service so I switched to Sears home service. The first sears tech came out and pointed out all of the things that the previous company had done wrong. he sprayed down my coils, checked my drain pan and said that everything was good. About a month later my system went down. I called Sears back out. A second tech came out, pointed out how the drain was clogged and should have been blown out when the last tech was here. He fixed it, but could not figure out why the system wasn't operating properly. He said that my system was too complicated and I would probably just have to have it replaced. Needless to say I gave him 2 thumbs down. After another bad visit from Sears, I decided to give Austin Drain and Air Rescue a try. First great point, when I called for service, someone actually picked up the phone. no voice messaging service, a true live operator. Second great point. I called at 2:15 pm, and was slotted in for service that same day between 3 and 5 pm. 30 minutes later they called back to tell me that a tech was on the way. Best point: The technician showed up (his name was Josh). He was very knowledgable about the systems and did a wonderful job of educating me about how my system works and what I can do to help maintain it. He fixed my problem rapidly, and showed obvious care and concern about the wellbeing of my newborn infant. Sears couldn't have cared less. He also educated me about some products that they offer to help cleanse the air of nastiness. he did all fo this without being pushy or overly-aggressive. it was more of an informational session. To sum it up, I was a skeptic of all things related to HVAC repair, but I feel better about placing my trust in Austin Drain and Air Rescue. Thanks, Josh! more

I called with backed up sink at 12:30 P.M. on a Monday. The service tech. (with 16 years experience) arrived at 1 P.M. Took 45 minutes to clear sink blockage that was 15 feet down ($79), then replaced outdoor water faucet that was continually leaking ($66). I asked him about replacing another outdoor water faucet, but he got it to turn on and run water again. He said I did not need the 2nd water faucet replaced. Next I am going to take out their annual plumbing contract for $6.99/month. I need my water heater flushed plus some updating repair work on it (15% discount with annual contract). I am really impressed with this company! more

I had my A/C out all weekend. Gave them a call Monday morning and someone came out just a few hours later. He was very helpful and I'll be up and running with a new coil same day. more

Great service! It was a 106 degree day hear in Austin and what do you know our A/C decides to stop working. It was brutal. We called and they came out with-in two hours and got us fixed up - even thought it was a Sunday evening. They are very professional. In fact Josh (who was our service man) was on the news tonight talking about air filter's which happened to be one of our issues (among others!). He helped walk me through the issues and understand what the problem was and how to avoid problems in the future! I would definitely recommend them and if you can ask for Josh! I am very pleased with the service. more

Our AC went out on Saturday - of course - and Josh showed up, diagnosed the problem, did a quick fix to get us through the night with a working AC and then showed up with Luke on Sunday morning and made the repairs ... couldn't have been more courteous or professional ... definitely have become our #1 call for repairs! more

Last night my air conditioning system broke around 9:00PM. After calling numerous companies and receiving several voice mails I finally got a in touch with an actual person. Within an hour they had someone at my door. Josh the technician came in and diagnosed our problem swiftly and affordably. I highly recommend Drain and Air Rescue for anyone who wants great service because when my family needed them they were there. more

I called about noon on a Friday expecting to hopefully get a spot on Monday but Drain and Air rescue scheduled me in for a 5pm spot! Josh showed up and quickly figured out what was wrong with the AC and gladly showed taught me the basics and showed me how I can better maintain my AC. he answered all of my questions and was very friendly. hopefully their plumbing is this good too because I'll be calling them when needed! more

Called in the morning and were at my door and done in the time the dispatcher told. Josh, my new air expert, diagnosed the problem and offered me several options on fixing my issues. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend Josh and ADAR. more

First he good. The people on the phone were very polite and professional. Two technicians arrived, one that was very good the other was very nice and in training. The service charge of $69 less $25 if you mention there website seemed very reasonable. Now the bad. They put a new capacitors. They wanted to charge $225 for the parts. I had just fixed my other unit and new these capacitors are not very expensive. The technician offered to remove the capacitor and just charge me a service charge. I took him up on the offer. I then went to Hamilton Electronics on Airport BLVD and got the parts. The cost for the parts were 13.30+4.65= 17.95 + tax. i.e. they were going to charge me $225 for $18 dollar worth of parts, wow. So there business model is to charge $44 - $69 for the service charge, but then charge you an absurd amount on the parts and that is where they make the money. I suspect that they are not alone in overcharging for parts, Since the only thing that is easy to compare on price is the cost of the service charge, and most people don't realize how much they are being overcharged for the parts. My guess is others don't quite this much for parts, but I don't know that. This seems like something there should be a law against this type of deceptive business practice. I guess the moral of the story for people who don't want to get and replace the part themselves is to not only compare the price of the service call but also compare the price of some common parts that may be needed. more

Though my technician, Josh, arrived later than scheduled, the actual fix was quick and affordable. The technician was polite and enjoyable during the time he was fixing the unit. Because he ran late, due to circumstances beyond his control, he discounted the diagnosis charge. All in all a good experience. more

I called Drain & Air Rescue at the height of hot-season because my AC drain was clogged, rendering the AC useless. Joshua came out the next morning, fixed the problem and offered a number of other services to keep my AC performing well. Recommended! more

My A/C went out this morning. I called Drain & Air Rescue and they set me up for an appointment that same afternoon. I was down for a 3:00 - 5:00 time frame. Around 3:30 this afternoon Adam showed up at my door. He was very polite and knew his stuff. He immediately checked out the system and located the problem. With in about 30 minutes he had my A/C working. Adam went the extra mile for me. He discovered a leak in my system that I did not even know existed. Adam repaired the problem right there on the spot. My A/C was up and running completely within two hours. I am very impressed with the customer service and work that was done by Adam. I would recommend them to anyone needing their A/C repaired. more

After my AC went out after another 100* day in Austin, I contacted Austin Drain and Rescue at 10:00 pm on a Sunday night. Much to my surprise, I didn't get an answering machine, but spoke to the service dispatcher who scheduled a technician to be at my home by 11:00 am Monday morning. My technician Josh showed up a few minutes early, was very courteous and professional. Within 30 minutes, he had diagnosed the problem, repaired worn out part and my AC was back up and running before noon...and before the mercury hit 100* again. I've used ADR for both plumbing and HVAC and would highly recommend them to any friend or family member. more
