Above and Beyond 2/14/2011

I was very happy with the service I received from Jim Palmer. He did a great job on what the service call was all about. When he was done I asked about a different siituation I was concerned about. Since there was still time ""left on the clock"" he offered to go up into my attic to search a possible leak. He found it. He confirmed what was needed to have the fire sprinkler company correct a problem not yet discovered. more

Upselling is annoying 2/11/2011

They came out and performed their job as expected, but they tried to upsale me on a 160 job to a $3500 job. I got the empression that if i didnt know what was really involved with the job, that this plumber would of tried to rip me off. In fact, that is what he was trying to do, but because of my knowledge in the construction field, i know the man hours invovled in doing the job and cost of materials. When i told him this, he had some rebuttle that didnt really sound accurate. So, i knew he was trying to convince me to let him perform an uneccessary job. more

Great service 2/5/2011

This is the second time I have had a water leak in my home and both times Diane got someone out to fix the problem. Jim Palmer was quick and experienced and was very fair with the price. I will call them back with the next problem and tell everyone I know to use them too. Thanks, I know it is a busy time with the freeze that we had and I appreciate the same day service. more

Friendly Service 2/4/2011

Broken pipe = bad morning, but my experience with Drain and Air Rescue has been everything BUT bad. From Diane who took our call this morning and quickly scheduled an apt. to Jim who fixed the pipe at a reasonable price everyone has been friendly and professional. It is nice to know there are still companies out there that really care about helping people and don't take advantage of unpleasant situations. Jim and Drain and Air Rescue came highly recommended to us by a friend and I will definitely keep spreading the word. Thanks! more

GREAT experience - from start to finish 2/3/2011

From my initial call to Drain and Air with problems with my furnace, I knew that I got the right company. Diane made me feel that my call was important and quickly scheduled my appointment. The technician, Domingo, arrived on time and did a detailed analysis of my heating system. He explained what furnace issues I had and even showed me where my air ducts weren't properly sealed. I was heating my attic! I felt the pricing was fair and the completed work was excellent. I will definitely tell my friends about Drain and Air Rescue. more

SUPER fast service ? inexpensively 2/3/2011

We have an old house on the south side, and, as such, we have plumbing problems. These guys are the only plumbers that we've found that come out same day and give fast, cheap, honest service. They showed prices ahead of time & capped at those prices. I appreciate that! more

Excellent service 2/3/2011

I rent out a few properties through out the austin area. frozen pipes have become a huge issue this past couple of days and the guys at austin drain and air rescue have comeby within a hour of my call and had the problem fixed very quickly. thanks for the great job! more

Great plumbing Service 2/3/2011

I was very pleased with the service call for a stopped up shower drain and a commode tank draining continuously. Jim Palmer repaired both in a short period of time and was very neat and polite. Because I had experienced a high water bill, he checked the water meter after he completed his work to verify that there was no water leaks anywhere else. He was very professional in his actions. I highly recommend him and Drain and Air Rescue. Thank you for a great job! Pat R. more

Complete and great job done, thanks! 2/2/2011

We woke in the morning and turned on the faucet in the kitchen and there was complete silence.The pipes FROZE!! No water, means no coffee i.e bad morning. We have two kids and were surviving with an emergency gallon of drinking water for everything - like camping. It was charming for a bit but got old quickly. Enter Jim Palmer from Air rescue. He heated the pipes and insulated them all while working outside for an hour in the bitter cold. In an hour we had running water. Thank you Jim, for a job well done, we appreciate it. more

Efficient and neat technician/ 2/2/2011

Jim Palmer arrived at my house to repair a stopped shower drain and a commode tank that was draining and refilling constantly. He went right to work and was very efficient in solving both problems. $14K HVAC System Nighmare 2/1/2011

I would strongly avoid these people for whole system replacement. There has been nothing but ongoing confusion over the items to be installed even though I sent an exact parts list. I'm still baffled how an exact parts list can be misunderstood...but they've managed multiple time now. Also, they are trying to charge extra for items that were on the parts list I sent for the quote. Crooks, in my opinion. Still don't have a signed agreement with them even though I've request one several times. If I could give them 0 stars I would. more

The guys that replaced my hot water heater were very professional and worked hard to get the job done. They made sure everything was working just fine and made adjustments where needed. Jim Palmer, Tony Smith and Rodriquez are great. more

Austin Drain and Air Rescue provided me with outstanding customer service! I called this morning and within 2 hours I had the pleasure of meeting Jim Palmer. Jim was courteous and professional and fixed all of my plumbing issues. The minute we started talking, I knew that Jim was going to be able to help me. He reviewed all of my issues and found solutions to all of them. I highly recommend Jim and Austin Drain & Rescue. Their pricing structure is fair and quite reasonable!
