Great service and the staff was courteous, patient and helpful. Best part is, I got my prescription at the end, got my glasses next door, and I'm more than satisfied with the glasses and the fact that I can see. more

Apparently this place takes a bunch of medical insurances....used my blue cross and I only paid $35 and they did a bunch of tests. It's been about 3 months since my exam. My glasses work well and I haven't received a bill :-) more

Heard great things about them and decided to try. Wasn't disappointed! Very friendly, helpful staff. Good prices on exam and contacts. The service was fast and comprehensive. more

My husband and I walked in to get our eyes examined. Great service. And the glasses we got works great! Everything was quick, thorough and efficient. more

Started having problems with my vision for the last month. Thought I just needed an update on my glasses. I was shocked that it was actually a retinal detachment. They called a local ophthalmologist and made an appointment for me to go in that same day. I'm glad I went Dr. Presley's. They are very competent and friendly. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 1/16/2013

Dr. Jones and staff at Dr. Presley's are phenomenal! They all did a great job: from checking me in to the actual exam and the contacts. The price was good too! I paid $248 for the exam, fitting and 1yrs worth of contacts. Not too shabby! I'll be back next year. more

Got my daughter's and my exams done. They were friendly and professional. My daughter was scared but the staff was able to soothe her fears. By the end she had a smile on her face. The doctor is thorough and quick. She seems like she's been doing this for a long time and lots of experience. I'll be back next year. more

Excellent Service! 5/7/2012

Haven't had an exam in about 16yrs. Didn't think I needed to since I saw perfectly. Well, I was recently having problems with my close-up vision, so I reluctantly made an appointment. Went in and the staff was very friendly and professional. They did all the preliminary stuff and set me in the room to wait for the doctor. I had a magazine, so the time kinda flew by (not sure how long I waited). The doctor dilated my eyes and when that was done, they took a picture of my eyes (it looks fascinating!). The doctor said it looked like I have diabetes and I should go to my regular doctor to get that regulated. I had know idea the eyes could reflect something like diabetes. I went to my doctor and they put me on insulin. Thanks to the doctor at Dr. Richard Presley and Associates, I'm able to monitor my diabetes and I'm able to see with the new prescription she gave me. This is the last time I want 16yrs to get an eye exam. Both doctors recommended that I get yearly checkups to make sure I'm not hang any damage to my eyes. Thanks Dr. Richard Presley and Associates! more

Good Price and Good Service 4/6/2012

I was actually on my way to Walmart and I saw the Optometry office so I stopped in to see if I could be seen. The lady helping me said I could get contacts for $248. I was told several years ago that I couldn't wear contacts because of my dry eyes. Well, I paid the $248 for the exam and 13 pairs of contacts. I've had them for about a month now, and I can't even tell they're in. They're comfortable...Thanks to technology. But the service at Dr. Presley's is excellent. I was finished with everything within an hour. And the majority of the time was spent teaching me how to put on, take out and care for contacts. I took a card so I could give it to my wife so she can make an appointment. more

Great Place 3/16/2012

Came in to get more contacts so I had to get a new prescription. They were busy, but I didn't mind waiting since I walked-in. The staff was friendly and they got me in and into the doctor's room as fast as they could. It was about 15 mins till the doctor saw me and she got me out in about 10 mins. The girl who helped me with contacts was very helpful. She asked various questions and we figured out the best brand for me. We went with a brand for $248 and that was with everything included. Not bad! I had to come back in a week but I'd rather that than have my contacts irritate me down the road. When I came back in a week, they got me in and out pretty quick and I got the rest of my year supply then. I also got a couple boxes of free solution. I'd recommend this optometrist. They did a good job. more

Won't use them next time... 2/21/2012

Went on a busy Saturday morning, so I expected to wait, but it was annoying for the young employees to be standing around gossiping within earshot of the patients. I was fitted for contacts and given test contacts. I was not given the correct information that I needed to return in a week before they would ""order my contacts"". My father died the next week, so there was a delay in returning to check my fit. When I did return, I let them know that the left contact did not fit at all. I asked them if it was for astigmatism, because that is what I've always had. No, it wasn't (wasn't this something that they should have known after examination?) and of course they didn't have that one in stock. They had to order another test contact. I had to wait another week for it to arrive, and now that it's finally in, I'm working out of state and can't get in until Saturday. This means another week for testing the contact and then an additional 7-10 days for them to order and receive the contacts. It's frustrating, my initial exam was on January 7, 2012. Now, after all of the delays, the majority of which were due to the Doctor's office; I will not be getting my contacts until March. Plus, they called to tell me they needed my vision insurance information and when my wife called to give them that info; she was told that they didn't need it, they already had it. ??? I'll find another optometrist next time I am due for an exam. more

I like it! 8/29/2011

This weekend was my first visit to an optometry office. They were very understanding with my hesitancy and thoroughly explained everything that they were doing. They convinced me to get contacts and I love them! At first they were hard to put in. But again, they were very patient and explained everything that I needed to do. I paid $208 for everything except for the actual glasses. And the whole thing took about 1hr and 1/2. The most of that time was taking the contacts in and out. more

I only go here 4/5/2011

I've been going here since 04. I like how they do business and how they treat customers. I especially appreciate the fact that Dr. Jones took the time to pay attention and let me know that my blood pressure was high. I didn't even know an eye doctor could do that through the eyes. I also like the contact packages. When I looked around they were cheaper. I tried getting my contacts online once and I don't like it. I would rather have a tangible office I can go to. Especially if something goes wrong. \r I'm a loyal customer and I'll vouch for Dr. Presley's more

Consistently good 3/29/2011

I've been going to Dr Presley's for years and have always liked the service and their prices. I was paying so much more for my contacts in a small town to the West of Sand Springs. My doctor told me that Dr Presley's had good prices on contacts because their contacts weren't as good as the ones he sold. Later I went to Dr Presley's and checked the boxes and they were both contacts made by a company named Ciba. They were also the exact same box! That was over ten years ago and I have been a patient their ever since. Also I just noticed the reviewer below is obviously a fake, Dr Presley doesn't see patients at their Sand Springs office anymore, its a female associate. Anyone who really went their would know this. Also they would know the computers in their exam rooms all face the patient, so you see what the doctor is working on all the time your in the exam room. How lame not even knowing this. I wonder if this is a jealous competitor who made the post below me. Its obviously not someone who's been to their offices. Anyway my experiences for the past ten years have been great! more

Huh? 3/2/2011

My eye exam took forever because Doc Presley kept typing stuff into his computer ever few seconds.\r \r When I got up to leave, I glanced at the monitor to look at my file. It wasn't my file he was typing in, it was the Tulsa World website!\r \r Prices were reasonable, though... more

Great Prices! 1/12/2011

I came in to get my eyes checked and to get contacts. I've been getting contacts since I was 15 so I know the drill. They were fast and the doctor was speedy as well. When the exam was done, I sat at the table to get my contacts. The lady didn't take long to attend to me. I told her the brand I was use to, but they didn't have it. I told her that I usually slept in mine and she recommended a brand to me. I put them in and she briefly went over the cleaning and how long to wear them. I went back into the exam room and I could see perfectly and I couldn't even feel the contacts! Alot better than my previous brand. They had to order my contacts, but they told me that this pair was good for a month and it should be in 2 weeks. They gave me a box of solution when I paid the full amount. I asked them why I have to pay for something I haven't gotten yet and they said that it's to cover buying the contacts from the company. Also, it gives me an incentive to come back and pick up the contacts. I respect that policy even though I didn't like it! Anyway, I paid about $250 for everything. And in about a week I picked up the rest of my contacts. And I'm happy to say the contacts still feel great. When I went shopping around to make sure I'd made a good decision in coming here, I realized that it's one of the cheapest in town! more

Convenient and Fast 7/29/2010

My 2 siblings and I came in to get our yearly exams and contacts. We didn't have appointments so we had to wait a little (like 20 mins It was a little busy when we got there but I was shocked how fast they got through everyone. They did some tests and the doctor checked all 3 of us. We all got some contacts and we had to do another check. We had to wear the contacts for about a week then return. We came back when we had to go to walmart, so it wasn't a huge inconvenience to do another checkup. We all saw great so we got some more contacts that day. My mom said she paid around $750 for all of us. She said that's the best she's paid for our contacts before. We'll be back next time for that reason. Pros: Clean office, fast, convenient Cons: kinda busy more

Excellent Contacts and Superb Service 6/8/2010

I lost my contacts last night and I didn't have any extras so I called Dr. Presley's (a friend recommended them to me) and to my surprise I got an appointment the same day, in fact, 4 hrs later! The gentleman that answered the phone was courteous and definitely not monotoned. When I went for my appointment, I had to fill out a health history (about 15 mins), then in about 5 mins, I was carried into a room where I had to do some tests. The gentleman walked me through each machine; telling me what it did and the instructions that I had to follow. He was also patient and understanding when he didn't get a reading on the air-puff machine. All of that took about 3-5 mins, then I was ushered into another room where he could tell how well (or badly in my case) I saw. When he was done, he told me that the doctor was with another patient, and as soon as she was done, she'd come to see me. I appreciated this because I like to be told why I'm waiting. Plus, I had a magazine from the lobby that helped past the time. 10mins later, the doctor came in and was friendly and thorough. She not only checked my vision, but she also made sure I didn't have any eye diseases (which I don't, thank God!) When the doctor was through, I went back outside where a young lady helped me in picking a brand of contacts. She went through the different brands, the prices and the pros of the ones that were applicable to me. When I got a new pair in, I went back into the room where the doctor made sure the contacts fitted right. I was told to wear these for a week. I did have to pay up front ($208), but I was told (in a respectful manner), that the reason for this is to ensure that I would come back and get them and they wouldn't get stuck paying for contacts if I didn't pick them up. So, I came back a week later and it was a quick check. The doctor just double checked to make sure I liked the contacts and I got them that same day! I liked the service and the price was reasonable. Everyone was super nice and they all seemed friendly. I don't know what Big Johnson is talking about, but Dr. Presley's employees give the business a positive image. I like this place and I'll be back! Pros: Reasonable priced contacts, great service! Cons: A little busy but I can see why more

I'm Done! 6/4/2010

Been going there for years, but I'm going to try somewhere else. My wife & I have also experienced the ""No Contacts"" in stock, waiting for extended periods for contacts to come in & one time, after a month of waiting & no return phone call, I called to enquire where my contacts were, I was told that they hadn't even been ordered! Now they are in the practice of charging different prices for the strenght of the contacts, the stronger the lens, the more expensive! So, they can't tell you how much you will be spending until after you get the results of your exam! My wife was told that Contact exam was $75, but was charged $149... $149 for an exam???? The counter personel act as if they want to be somewhere other than work, when you address them, they react with monotone voices with ""generic-like"" answers. If Dr. Pressley reads this, one piece of advice..... Image & Service, or lack there of, go ALONG WAY!!!! Time for me & my family to go somewhere else. Pros: Convinient Cons: Not Customer Driven more
