Haven't had an exam in about 16yrs. Didn't think I needed to since I saw perfectly. Well, I was recently having problems with my close-up vision, so I reluctantly made an appointment. Went in and the staff was very friendly and professional. They did all the preliminary stuff and set me in the room to wait for the doctor. I had a magazine, so the time kinda flew by (not sure how long I waited). The doctor dilated my eyes and when that was done, they took a picture of my eyes (it looks fascinating!). The doctor said it looked like I have diabetes and I should go to my regular doctor to get that regulated. I had know idea the eyes could reflect something like diabetes. I went to my doctor and they put me on insulin. Thanks to the doctor at Dr. Richard Presley and Associates, I'm able to monitor my diabetes and I'm able to see with the new prescription she gave me. This is the last time I want 16yrs to get an eye exam. Both doctors recommended that I get yearly checkups to make sure I'm not hang any damage to my eyes. Thanks Dr. Richard Presley and Associates!
