I have seen Dr. Rivkin twice now for treatment of my tmj with botox, flying nearly 4000 miles round trip for the privledge of doing so. Dr. Rivkin and his staff have gone out of their way both times to accomodate my travel schedule, which makes traveling for proceedures so much easier. In addition, I have been extremely nervous about injecting a neurotoxin into my face each time I've gone, but Dr. Rivkin and his nurses have gone above and beyond to put my fears to rest. The last time I was there, I elected to have some Radiesse put into my NL folds (something I'd been contemplating for a while) but was pretty scared to do so. Dr. Rivkin was very patient with me as I, well, freaked out a bit. His nurse answered all of my questions, and even the other patients were supportive. The injections were not painful, I had virutally no bruising and I really like the results. What more can you ask for? Then, Dr. Rivkin called himself to check on me after I returned home. That was the icing on the cake. I will definitely make the trip again and will trust Dr. Rivkin with any other tweaks I elect to do. I love going to see Dr. Rivken. I do not love that I am aging however I've found a way to turn the clock back some (and not by having surgery!). I get botox around my eyes and to those horizonal lines starting to form at my forehead. It does make a difference..enough to get comments that I look refreshed and younger than I actually am..and this is after each and every time I've gone. I am delighted, not for the comments but that 'I' myself can actually see a big difference after Dr. Rivken has taken a few minutes with me (and results starting to show within just a few days..). It's my little secret :) something I'm having fun with. Dr. Rivken is impeccably mannered and professional in every way. I love that he does not flirt with his patients, though he, himself,...very nice to look at. This is a great place! more

All I have to say is that I love Dr. Rivkin and the staff at Westside Aesthetics (and I generally HATE doctors and anything else that reminds me of hospitals). I finally decided to have that 15 minute rhinoplasty I have seen on TV because I would never consider a gnarly plastic surgery. It really works folks! The very obvious and noticeable bump of the bridge of my nose that I had since I broke my nose 10 years ago has vanished and it is no longer the first thing you notice when you look at my face. I experienced no pain (I did get numbing cream) and was in and out of the office in less than an hour. Dr. Rivkin was great and talked to me through the whole procedure. I just got home from my re-check and we both agreed that I look fantastic. I will definitely go back to Westside Aesthetics for anything else I might want in the future like botox or a photofacial. And I recommend anyone else who considers having a surgical nose job see Dr. Rivkin before making any cosmetic decisions. I just had my third Velasmooth treatment in a series of 8 at Westside Aesthetics. I am already noticing a difference in the texture and tone of my thighs, which are not fat but are unfortunately cursed with too much cellulite. The treatment itself is not at all painful or uncomfortable like I was afraid it might be. Natalie, the nurse technician is awesome and I am super excited to see the results after I finish the whole series. I actually look forward to my appointments because the office and the girls there are so cool and I can get to my treatments without navigating through a maze of medical offices. I got three fraxel laser treatment on my face for tighter/younger/firmer look over the course of 12 months last year. I truly feel that Dr Rivkin is very accomodating and very assuring. His practitioner nurse Natalie does a superior job in administring the laser while making sure I was comfortable and all of my requests/concerns well-addressed! I love my re-invigorated facial look! Their after-care package is great and well-explained. Front-desk staff is very courteous and forthcoming which makes one feel welcomed/relaxed! Facility is professional and relaxing, Parking is not a problem. Overall, I feel they perform the job very-well with much care, and all this at a fair-price, occasionally at very attractive prices. I just wanted to say that I am so so happy with my experience at Westside Medical Spa. I've always wanted to fix the tip of my nose but I noticed that nose jobs could actually make the front part of someone's face look worse than before, and to top it off there are so many risks with surgeries that it is best to avoid such invasive procedures as much as possible. That is why I was thrilled when I found out about Dr. Rivkin?s non-surgical nose job (after Oprah on a news show on abc in 2007). This is my second year going for the Radiesse nose injections and I am once again so excited about my results. I think my nose looks even better than the first time, and I?ve been beyond satisfied since my very first time. Next time I will get the more permanent filling, Artefill, now that I know that this procedure really works for me and it makes my nose look exactly as I want it to look. It?s also cool that Dr.Rivkin can add or take away filling, so you?re not stuck with something you don?t like. I don?t even know how to express how grateful and enthusiastic I am about this wonderful procedure. Dr. Rivkin is definitely a godsend, he has changed my life for the better. This procedure has improved my confidence because I am not self-conscious about my profile anymore, I can talk to people without worrying that they might be distracted with my nose, which I feel was out of proportion to my face?. Which is the other benefit, the injections actually make my nose look smaller. Seriously, it is truly amazing. It is one, if not THE best investment I have ever made. Perhaps the only drawback is the location of the clinic- traffic is almost always really bad so even though the procedure takes just a few minutes, you need to schedule in plenty of time to account for the traffic in the area?but it is well worth it ;-) Pros: Excellent, innovative, life-changing yet non invasive nose contouring procedure Cons: There's a lot of traffic in the area. The last 10 miles alone takes me like 30-45 minutes to complete, then again, that's LA so it's expected ;-P more
