Doodles

I went to Doodles and purchased a $465.00 diaper bag for a dear friend. I returned home less than one hour later only to receive a 15% coupon in the mail from their establishment. I called them immediately and asked them to honor the coupon. I have never been treated so discourteously in a retail store. They hesitated when I asked for the owner or manager's name and then very rudely told me not to expect a return phone call. I discovered that the ""owners"" are mother and daughter, and apparently the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I was in route to return the entire purchase when the salesperson who originally helped me called to offer to return then repurchase the item for the 15% off, only to arrive and be told that the ""owners"" would not allow it. I would never buy anything from a company so unprofessional and ungrateful and ignorant in business as they are. They could have saved a sale as well as a customer, instead they ended up losing the full amount of the sale rather than a 15% discount and a good customer! Cons: everything more

The sales staff had always been very rude to me when I shopped there and I am not sure why I ever went back. Once I took my neice in there when she was 6 months old, she was teething a little drooly, her drool landed on some merchandise on the floor and they insisted that we had to puchase it(the store has stuff everywhere is not child/baby friendly at all). We put down the gifts we had selected and never went back. We tell everyone we know to never go there. Pros: Pretty stuff Cons: Too expensive, not customer friendly or child friendly enviroment more

I recently learned that I am pregnant and have started browsing for registry places. I have been to Doodles twice, once with a girlfriend and once with my husband, and have been treated kindly both times even though I am not yet obviously pregnant and could have just been window shopping. The saleslady was helpful and attentive. I can't seem to find a website which would make it difficult for out of town friends and family to shop for us but that seems to fit with not wanting photos to be taken and distributed. more

I have spent my last cent at Doodles! Over the past several years, I have been a loyal customer in this store but that all ended today. My daughter, who is pregnant with my first grandchild, and I went in to Doodles to purchase bedroom furniture and a very expensive custom bedding set. As we tried to decide between 2 different sets, my daughter took a picture with her cell phone to send to her husband for his opinion! As she snapped the picture a saleslady ran over and told her she was not allowed to take any pictures of the merchandise, She explained that she wanted her husband to help her make a decision. She was then rudely informed that if her husband wanted to see it....""He would have to come into the store himself"". Needless to say....I took my daughter AND my checkbook.......and went elsewhere to purchase her furniture and bedding. I had heard from others that they had problems shopping in this store, but I did not believe them. HOWEVER...today I became a believer. I will never shop Doodles again! There is absolutely nothing in this store that you can not buy in another store.....and you will get better customer service elsewhere!!!! more

i'll readily admit they have a wonderful selection, with very cute clothes and nursery items. many of the sales staff are great. HOWEVER, some kind of store manager was so awful and rude that i will not go back (that is, after i use the store credit issued to me b/c i returned something after 7 days, which i did not realize was the policy). when i suggested (nicely, i might add) to her that maybe it could be communicated a little better, not changed, she argued with me and did not even try to be nice. 7 days is a really short time (especially when you're a new mom with a baby), but if i knew that, then i would've adhered to it. The owner and salespeople are rude and dishonest. Return policy is a joke- if a product breaks, it's best just to throw it away. I will never shop at Doodles again. Pros: Merchandise Cons: Returns, Rude Staff more

We had looked virtually everywhere for linens for our baby's nursery and Angela at Doodles helped us pick out the most beautiful linens. She made everything so easy! This is also a place I love to buy gifts for friends--they have great unique gifts, picture frames, clothes etc!!!
