Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all cost. My experience with them was horrible. They requested my daughter's measurement. Measurement were obtained by a local tailor. Based on the measurements, my daughter would have needed a size 6 dress. The unscrupulous and poorly trained sales person, recommended size 4 even after being told several times that size 6 was the appropriate size based on measurements. The sales person informed us that their sizes were running large and convinced us to get the smaller size. Their web site even specifically states that the customer should order items 2 sizes smaller from what is customary. Assuming that the vendor knew its products, we followed their recommendations. The dress was delivered and were surprised to find out that the vendor was wrong and the dress didn't fit. They refused to fix their error and charged us in excess of a 20% restocking and handling fee to fix their salesperson's mistake. They were difficult to work with, disrespectful and in my opinion without scruples. In my experience, they only value the customer until they receive payment and then couldn't be bothered with customer service. Once again, take your business somewhere else and safe yourself the aggravation. more

Staff is very very annoying. They keep bugging you. I only tried on 2 dresses and was very annoyed only after TWO dresses. I ended up leaving without even telling the staff I was leaving. This one lady kept asking ""what color?"". And I told her numerous times I wasn't sure. She then got mad because the dresses I tried on, I didn't like. I was very frustrated more

We purchased this gorgeous gown from Dimitra Designs for our daughter's high school graduation. You were wonderful to deal with, thank you, for making our shopping experience so easy! You managed to get a dress in her size, and shipped to Yuma, Arizona IN TIME, for my parents to bring it to us here, in Canada! She got so many compliments on her dress! There was NO ONE in her graduating class that had even a remotely similar gown! more

I used Dimitra for both my wedding dress and my attendant's dresses. After having received rude service at another bridal store before coming here, I was very pleased that my mother and I were greeted with smiles. One of the workers helped with picking out the dresses, and she stayed with us until I was done trying on all the dresses. I fell in love with the very first dress I tried on, but the worker insisted having fun and trying on other dresses, which I did enjoy doing. After it all, I selected the first dress I had tried on. The dress (a one-of-a-kind valued at almost $1000) was on sale for $500. The dress fit great, only needed a small alteration around the shoulders. They have several dresses valued at over $2000+, but for those on a budget (like me) they still offer dresses beautiful enough to make the groom's jaw drop. more

This store has a lot of variety and choices. They had tons of beautiful dresses for bridesmaids and brides. Also a tuxedo department. My consultant was great and more than helpful. My dress was ordered and in in a timely manner and was perfect! more

This store has a fabulous selection, but do not expect to b pampered. They are always extremely busy and don't care as much for the Brides as they do for their pageant stars. I was out shown by a 14 year old who was looking for her pageant dress while I was searching for my wedding dress. Also, for my first try on, I stood in my dress for 25mins before any of my friends could actually find someone to check the fitting. The little lady came out, looked at me in my dress, and said ""85 dollars"" and then left. Again, everyone else seemed to be too focused on prom/pageant queens. Nothing wrong, considering if they have a good experience, they will come back for more dresses. However, I will be wearing my dress ONCE for the most important day of my life. The pageant princesses will have their moment every other month. more

After trying on dresses at a few other bridal salons, I found my dress at Dimitra Designs. They have a great selection at various price points. more

This place us the worst place in the world! My mother, sistets, and my future mother- in- law all went to Dimitra Designs to look for my wedding dress. I had an appointment and no one was there to help me. They finally gave me a GUY! I have no problem with a guy working in a bridal shop, but how is he suppost to help me try on dresses? I told him my size ( 18/20) he pulled a dress that was 3 sizes to big and just said.put it on. He would not get a female worker to help me into the dress even when I said I needed help. He pulled A DRESS then was trying to put me in bridesmaid dresses! He took me to that section of the store and saix look and left. I was so upset abkut this I was in tears. I went to the manager to tell them what was happening and I saw my consultant with another girl who was a much smaller size than me, and he was very personable with her. We finally just left. Dimitra literally saved the day. I found a dress I loved for a very reasonable price less than 2 months before my wedding. The floor model was a size 10. I am a size 0. The alterations ladies are pure genius! The dress ended up looking like it was my size from the very beginning and I received so many compliments on it. All in all it was truly a great experience and I would recommend it to any future brides. They have a wonderfully unique selection for any price range and nice people helping you out. more

Everything went very well for the dress purchase. I found a beautiful dress for the price. The sales woman was very nice. After I purchased the dress I went for my fittings. I wanted to thank you for helping me find the wedding dress in the pictures. I truly was losing hope before I called your salon. I had found the dress on line and because it was about to be phased out, no salon from Michigan (where I live) to South Carolina had this dress in their store. You offered to have it shipped from a trunk show just in time for my visit to SC to see my then, fiance. I had hope again! As soon as Jessica opened it from the bag, I just knew it was it! She helped me find the perfect veil and deal with me for a couple hours. I didn't want to take it off! Simone and Diana made a dream come true. I e-mailed them late at night with a dress name and number, size and color. NOt only did they call me back the very next day, they put the dress aside until they called me. Because I was worried about the exact color, they took a photos of the dress and sent them to me. They took my fears of buying a prom dress over the phone/internet and put them to rest. My daughter loves the dress. Thank you so very much! more

This review is just inform people of our experience. Owning a business of my own I understand there are many factors in having things run smoothly and accommodating clients, but certain things at this establishment are very wrong.\r When entering the store you are met by people trying to sell you services for your wedding. This is extremely uncomfortable considering you are going to a store to purchase one of the most important pieces of the wedding day THE DRESS.\r Next we were taken on a "tour" basically show us what other things could be purchased at the store. Our bridal attendant was extremely rude at first she kept emphasizing the size of the gown I would try on. I am a size 6 and I could only imagine how uncomfortable she would make a young woman feel at a larger size. My mother almost wanted to walk out at this point but this was our first time shopping for my gown and we were excited to try on dresses. Next the bridal attendant brought us dresses that were exactly what we did no more

I have been to alot of places in several states and although Dimetria Designs offers a beautiful display of dresses and over the top tours, services, and free beverages... THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDS! The dresses are overpriced and THE TAGS HAVE BEEN SWITCHED FROM OTHER DESIGNERS! You can find any of those dresses in the this store for half the price with just a little research HINT's THE REASON NO CAMERAS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE SHOP. It doesnt matter where you buy your dresses JUST DO NOT LET THIS SHOP TAKE ADVANGE OF YOU BY OVERPRICING AND SELLING YOU ANOTHER DESIGNERS WORK WITH THEIR NAME ON IT! If you dont believe me...
