First Class 12/5/2011

Talk about truck selection, went to all the local dealerships and by far Dick Smith had the largest and best selection available. Salesman name was Nathan and he was extremely helpful. I told him exactly what I needed in the truck, max towing capabilities, best fuel mileage and a few bells and whistles, he showed me the selection I had available and I was like a kid in a candy store. Took me a while, but I found the truck and took it home. Very easy going and no pressure to buy, even offered me time to think about it if I wanted...didn't need it. High Recommendations from me more

My Fiesta is SWEET!!! 12/5/2011

I saw the commercials for the new Fiesta and really wanted to test one out. That is how I met Nathan at the dealership. He greeted me with a smile and even after 3 days of indecisiveness he smiled when I came back. Made the choice very easy after visiting 2 other dealers. The people were very nice and enjoyable treated me as a valued customer not a potential one which sold me. Love the Fiesta, awesome car and great gas mileage, Nate was very classy and the rest of the Team seemed just as cool more

I was prepared and ready to shop around do all the things I was told in the tutorials, compare prices, pit each dealership against each other and get the best deal possible, I was in it for the long haul.....my first stop was Dick Smith Ford....... and it was my only. The selection was huge and more importantly they respected my desire to find the best deal. I was shopping Ford, Nissan and Chevrolet and conveniently they have all 3 dealerships. Nathan was my salesman and he sat down and showed me everything I asked, from 1 location I got information on all three cars. He took me to the Nissan Store and showed me the Altima but ultimately, I bought the Fusion. I love my car and I absolutely enjoyed my experience at Dick Smith Ford, Great pricing no pressure thanks a lot guys well done. Columbia's Only Place to Buy a Ford 12/4/2011

Ford is my brand from now on and I will by them from Dick SMith. I cant say enough with the way they treated me, non pressure, my salesman's name was Nate Beard, he was helpful, did not give me too much flack when he noticed I was very impressed, (i drove up in a 2009 GMC) he let the truck do the selling. Great Job all the way around and even gave me a trade value that was fair, no back and forth with the Manager. 5 stars more

This was a great place to buy a car, really helped me out and made me feel comfortable. Nathan was my salesman, he was honest, fair and straight forward. My car is fantastic I absolutely love it. Recommendation from me all the way. more

My salesman's name was Nathan Beard, and he was exceptional, easy to deal with and really farir. I was in and out after about an hour and a half, there was no back and forth to the management and it was just a really refreshing experience. Thanks Nate again more

Service Department Needs To Work on ""Service"" 11/10/2011

I am an individual that really thinks that service is a forgotten art. This is no exception at Dick Smith Ford on Two Notch Road in Columbia, SC. I have used them on numerous occasions and I think I am done. I had high hopes and in fairness perhaps my expectations are to high for this company. Every time I am in there, I feel like I am being handed a line. I am told one thing but something totally different happens. For example, an oil change can run the gammet of 1 hour to an entire day and maybe not even finish that same day. In another instance, they replace a battery and something else is wrong with the vehicle when I get it back. I am always the one that calls them for follow ups. As someone who really gets service, this is problematic as well. Perhaps they don't have training in this area. I get the sense that they are trained to say anything to get additional work. I just don't feel like I can trust them. I am not sure where I go from here but not back to Dick Smith. I would not recommend this company to anyone. more

Excellent Dealership, I highly recommend 9/11/2011

I bought a 2009 Ford Mustang here, and the sales staff was very professional and patient in helping me find the right vehicle. It was at another location of theirs but they called and had it brought to this store for me to test out. Thank you Mr Nelligan, I appreciate your help and patience! more

Uncomfortable looks 8/25/2011

Not to take away from what others said, but I had a bad time with this place. It took them a hour to start working on my car and 3 hours for them to complete the oil change and windshield wipers. John campbell kept giving me these wired looks and was like asking me for my number. It was too freaky i couldn't wait to leave. more

Best deal on my new focus 8/19/2011

did a lot of internet research on the ford focus and i finally decided to pull the trigger. I checked dick smith's web site and got some choices in mind before i went in. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable and I got a great deal on my new car. Mr Elger gave me some great advice and I couldn't be happier with my new car. more
