I recently bought a car from Acura of Portland and had a wonderful experience. The cars were immaculate and the staff was more then helpful. Buying a car is never something I enjoy but this experience was one that made it all worth it. I especially enjoyed working with Cory Fay. If you decide to buy a car here, which you should, please please PLEASE request to work with him. He's friendly and hardworking. You can tell he enjoys his job, and he's very good at what he does. I will definitely return and will 100% recommend Acura of Portland and Cory Fay to all my friends and family. more

I hate shopping for cars because the sales people are pushy and sneaky. Thank you for employing sales people that actually try to be helpful. Mike O'brien was easy to deal with and gave me good information even though he knew I was interested in buying on my first visit. I'll be back. more

I have worked with other dealerships in the past and not recieved the best customer service. I had a van that I wasn't happy with and needed to get a new one. I was very worried about going to another dealership. My daughter referred me to Cory Fay at Acura and I was very impressed with him. He was very kind to me and found me a new van that I love. I went to Acura of Portland to purchase my first car, Acura TSX and ended up being an excellent buying experience. My sales man Mike O'Brien was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable when it came to any questions I had concerning the buying experience and after I have purchased the car. The entire staff at the dealership has gone over and above to ensure I'm happy and satisfied with my car purchase. I have been to the service department twice and both experiences have been very good. The wait time isn't any longer than a person would expect any where else. The dealership provides great perks for purchasing a car there, including tires for life, car washes for life and cheap rental cars. Not only is he friendly and easy to talk to, but I found his knowledge of the cars he sells shows he has invested the time to understand everything about them so I don't have to. I usually never write reviews, but I had such a great experience at Acura of Portland, I would feel guilty if I didn't write one. I only write this because I know that shopping for a used car can be very intimidating...but if you've got the right salesman, it's actually fun! You have to ask for Mike O'Brien--best salesman ever, because he wasn't a ""salesman."" He truly had my best interest in mind, and never seemed rushed when he was helping us, and we needed a lot of help! We moved from out of state, and brought with us our MDX. I had some questions, so I went to the Acura dealership on Stark. I was worried that since I had not purchased my MDX at that dealership, I wouldn't get the service I deserved as an Acura owner. I was very surprised. The service staff was great. What impressed me the most was the sales staff, specifically, Mike O'Brien. Mike took the time to answer my questions about my MDX. I asked Mike if he would mind showing me the new MDX, and now I know where I am going for my next Acura purchase, and thanks to Mike, I know exactly what I am going to buy! more

I've never done this before, write a review before but the treatment I got from Mike Obrien at Portland Acura was so refreshing. AND I DIDN""T EVEN BUY A CAR! I was looking for a car for my daughter nothing to expensive and Mike showed me several different cars I have to admit not buying had nothing to do with Mike. I just didn't have the time. My research started over 3 months ago when my wife and I decided to purchase what would be our first luxury vehicle. My trek started at what I thought would be the top a very recognizable European car dealership where I was sadly dissapointed. We visited 6 total luxury auto dealerships. The customer service at all of these was good. One dealership however stood out head and shoulders above the others. ACURA OF PORTLAND! Chris Farwell (Acura Specialist) made us feel right at home. We were greeted immediately he was very freindly and well-informed. The entire process was easy and dare I say fun! I've never bought a new car before, and as a woman alone I was a little nervous about going into a car dealership by myself. I've heard the horror stories of the ""hard sell,"" the ""fast talking salesman"" and the long wait to get answers. Not true at DickHannah Acura on SE Stark! I had a wonderful experience and ended up with a car I love at a price I can afford. Mike O'Brian assisted me - I won't call him a salesman because he was more like a concerned friend trying to help me find what I wanted. He answered my endless stream of questions and demonstrated the features of my new Acura TSX with commendable patience. I traded in my 2003 Acura TL and absolutely LOVE the TSX - it's lighter, quicker to respond and gets better gas mileage - but still offers luxury and a great ride. After doing research and going to the auto show, I decided that I would really like to investigate the Acura MDX a little more thinking that if I could make this work, I might take one home. Contacting them ahead of time and working through the Internet department meant that I knew who to look for when I came in. The service I received was comparable to a night out at El Gaucho or Morton's. Even with my two kids, we were able to get a deal that was, in my opionion, absolutely great.\r I saw that they had great reviews on several blogs, and want to confirm that everything about my purchase experience was fantastic. Their special program will even give me tires for as long as I own my car! I got a great deal, and will definitely be back for my next car. I already begun to refer a couple friends after they rode in my new MDX. \r For me the experience was so beyond my other experiences that I was kind of blown away. They treated me better than I ever had been at a dealership.\r Pros: No back and forth, very straight forward, honest. More than fair, good people. Cons: location, but worth the extra 5 minute drive! more
