As an Owner...don't use this Mgt Company! 6/21/2011

From an Owner's perspective this is the worst Property Management in the city. Their rates for repairs are unreasonable and getting any information from them for any reason is nearly impossible. I tried emailing and calling the Owner/Broker...and got no response. \r \r They work things to their advantage with no regard to the owner. I am now at 60 days since the tenant moved out...and I still don't have the deposits refunded. \r \r They make policy as they go along to suit the situation. And don't hold to anything they have confirmed...even if it is in writing.\r \r Find someone else...anyone would be better!\r more

very reasonably priced 6/15/2011

Ive been searching for a Property Management company in Phoenix Area for the last couple days. But it is getting hard and confusing, DWP seems very reasonably priced, answer there phone calls right away and return them, had 3 people from there company email me and try yo answer any questions. Heres the confusing part, with DWP and other property mang companys Ive tryed searching for reviews with ones like I just read on this site, all of them are mixed, either good or bad. I think a lot of them are BS. I noticed the 3 reviews on this site are NO where near the phoenix area. I have not hired DWP yet, I am weighing my options but I will say be cautious when reading negative reviews about any prop management company's. more

Won't look out for you!!! 4/12/2011

Desertwide rented me a property that the owner hadn't made a mortgage payment on in 4 months (no payment since before the previous tenant moved out). I signed a 12 month lease and now, 3 months into the lease, I get notice that the property is going to auction! No due diligence, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION! more

HOME OWNERS BEWARE! STAY AWAY! 4/1/2011

I entrusted my home to these people and it was a huge mistake, that I am paying dearly for! I can't believe my eyes, when I read the positive reviews ~research further and you will find MANY negative experiences, like mine. These people lied, by telling me (and charging me) for services that were NOT rendered. The office staff is RUDE and un-informed. If your house is not a big money maker for them, do NOT expect the courtesy of a return phone call, accountability or customer service! I spoke with a local realtor and she is shocked that this company is still in business, after all of the complaints that she hears. STAY AWAY!! more

Desert Wide Property 3/15/2011

I worked with Tamber during the course of my lease with Desert Wide Properties and couldn't have been happier with her, she was great. \r \r I'd read some reviews on how awful DWP was about returning deposits to tennants and was a bit concerned that it'd be impossible, despite my positive experience up to that point. My concerns were completely unfounded. I cleaned the home like I would any home that I were vacating, attended the inspector during my final walk through and had my refunded deposit check within two weeks. \r \r No issues at all. If I ever have to lease a home again, I'll be looking for Desert Wide Properties. \r \r MH more

When I entered into the Desert Wide to rent my property, they were thorough and treated me with great respect. I have had no problems with them answering questions, in fact they are extremely quick to respond when I do have a question. I will recommend this management company to all of my friends and I look forward to a long relationship with this fine company. more

Desert Wide Properties is a great management company. I have seen first hand that the tenants have become disrespectful of properties however Desert Wide has looked out continually for my best interest especially when I have problem tenants myself. more

WORST property management company 2/13/2011

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I used them to manage my property that I bought a while back. They LOST my house keys, garage door and association key. I have no way of getting into my OWN house. They refuse to take any responsibility. I just want to get into my house...but they said it was not their fault. Well if the keys and other belongings never made it to me whose fault is it? Whatever you do.. do not EVER use them. Save yourself the headache and pain. I have spoken to supervisors and the property manager and they have no customer service. Call me crazy but isn't a property management company supposed to manage a property and get the belongings back to the homeowner. They raise rates constantly and do shoddy work. DO NOT USE THEM! more

Dishonest Dealings 2/2/2011

I have lived in a property managed by Desert Wide for over a year now, and in that time they have tried to charge me for over one thousand dollars that i did not owe them, almost half of which was for services rendered at other properties. In the beggining of my lease they even tried to bill me for services rendered to the previous tenants. They try very hard to steal all the money they can and be as rude as possible after your already locked into the lease, when you try and dispute the fees they bill you for, I have had email reply's including things like ""Im not even going to entertain that with an answer"". Donna Andrews has been the least customer service oriented individual I have ever come across. I dont think i can effectively describe my disappointment with this company in words. It has just been a terrible experience from shortly after the lease was signed on. I would never recommend them even to people I am not fond of. more

Treated Me With Respect 1/11/2011

They treated me with only respect I love Desert Wide Property! When I came in to put my property up for rental they were courteous and thorough in the details that needed to be done. They are quick to contact me when a issue arises and have treated me with only respect. If you are in need of a management company I would recommend DWP. I could not ask for anything more! Keep up the good work! more

Outstanding service! 12/30/2010

Desertwide just started managing my property. I will admit I was a bit surprised and skeptical at first, but I was pleasantly surprised when my property rented quickly. Although I am a new client, I must say so far I have had outstanding service and am very pleased. more
