Not so sweet 16 5/5/2020

I planned to purchase a 2019 Honda Civic Sport for my daughter's 16th birthday. I agreed to a price on Saturday, 2 May 2020, and my salesman emailed me a purchase order. the finance guy tried to sell me an extended warranty but I declined. I agreed to wire the funds on Monday, when the banks opened for business. The salesman sent me videos of the car to show my daughter. He also recommended a shipping company because I was having the car shipped to north Florida. Sunday morning, I was informed that another salesman sold the car to another buyer! I was pissed off and my daughter was crushed! I've never experienced such unscrupulous business practices! more

Friendly and Honest Dealership 10/12/2017

This is the first time I've actually enjoyed visiting a car dealership! Everyone we worked with, from the internet sales team to the finance department and insurance team, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We got a great deal on our new car and received honest and straightforward service - something that is hard to find in the auto sales industry. Not very fun. 10/16/2016

We went in and were literally walked out with excellent credit and a budget of 350 a month. We were so embarrassed by this. The jackass that did it was very rude and unprofessional. He was an older man with white hair, tan skin and shook like Michael J. Fox. IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST SAD MOMENTS, IT REALLY INSULTED US AS A FAMILY AND YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!! more

bad service 2/19/2014

I am from Indiana so I called to make a reservation for service, and that was the ONLY good part of the service I received. My appointment was for 10 A M, I arrined at 9:50 and gave my name, the persons name that was doing the oil change and asked the person that checks you in how long it would take. His responce 1 hour. We walked to some local stores and returned 45 min. latter to find they had not checked the car in yet and needed me to sign a form, they had my phone # but did not call. They finished the oil change by 12:40, yep that is 2 hrs and 40 min. latter and to make it better , they charged me $103.06 for the same service I normally pay $65.00 for. First and last time for me, just to let you know what to expect. more

Worst experience at a car dealership 11/18/2011

I was in great lengths and negotiations with this dealership. The price continued to change and when I actually called to purchase the vehicle, they told me they had other plans for the vehicle. I asked them if they sold it, since I was just there 6 hours before, and the salesman said, "No, but they have other plans for the truck." I then asked to speak with Casey, and my salesman said that Casey couldn't talk but would give me a ring later that night. Needless to say, I didn't get a call. I called again and was told that he would return my call. Nothing happened. I called the third day, and my salesman said that Casey would maybe call later in the day, but that I could probably come in and buy the vehicle. After getting jerked around, I went to the closest competitor, Lake Worth Honda, got a new truck (not a demo) for the exact same price in the color I deserved. My suggestion, go ahead and get a quote on a vehicle here if you want, but be careful of the bait and switch and the lack of customer service. Their Monday Night Football ad for what they stand for is the total opposite of what is truly represented. A joke. more

I thought that everyone did an excellent job! Maia Nikiforova and Lester Martin took the initiative to get the exact car that we wanted and it sealed the deal. Maia was very professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Craig Grunewald in finance was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to put the deal together and work with our needs. Overall,the experience couldn't have been better. This is the second Honda CRV that I have gotten from your dealership and I am confident that the experience will be just a wonderful as the first. I just LOVE my new car! more

We were all set to purchase a 2011 Honda Pilot after conducting our research. The performance and price (financing terms) of the vehicle was all that really mattered. We went to a dealer prior to visiting Delray Honda but was not so well received when we tried to negotiate price. David Starkey of Delray Honda invited us down on a Sunday to test drive the Honda Pilot. He and Jose Santiago were extremely attentive and understanding to our needs. We wanted a particular color vehicle and within our price point. We were able to negotiate a fair price and great terms, and in addition David set out to find the color vehicle that we wanted as the burgundy was not in stock at that location. A burgundy Honda Pilot was located in Miami and arrangements were made to acquire, relocate and prepare for pickup the following day. They actually offered to deliver the vehicle to our home (30 minutes away).I was very impressed with the depth and breath of customer service, they all made our experience enjoyable and extra-ordinary. How great was the service, we were provided with a nice meal during our time. Awesome guys, awesome team.I say team as we had a small issue with the vehicle that was addressed with immediate effect, a rental was given to us for a day to allow enough time to ensure that the problem was resolved, which it was. Enough said, if you need a Honda, Delray Honda is the dealership to attend for an extra-ordinary level of service. more

WE were very happy with the dealership, beautiful showroom and a large selection of cars. Our salesman, David Starky, got us the car we wanted. He was very courteous and accomodating to us. The new CR-V is for our daughter, who is very fussy and she couldnt be happier with the car. David quoted us the best out-the-door price through the internet and we did our research. The car is in perfect condition and is a real pretty glacier blue color. We have heard that the CR-Vs last forever and we hope it does last for a very long time.. more

I just bought a 2010 Civic LX. David Starky was our salesman. He is an intelligent, educated, and professional gentleman. He did his part very efficiently and pleasantly. He also gave us a great deal and stayed late, all the way to the end of the process, even though he had a long day, to make sure everything went smoothly. I already have recommended him to a friend. David is a credit for Delray Honda. In the process of buying the Civic, I had a question about the brakes, and Paul Minett, the shop foreman, as usual was very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable, by driving the car with me and making sure that the brakes were working properly. We have been coming to Delray Honda because of Paul Minett for 12 years. Paul is an asset for the Delray Honda. We also like Richard Douglass, our service representative, who is very courteous and helpful, and a credit to the dealership. He is the one who introduced us to the sales dept. more

Because we've never liked to be pressured into buying anything, shopping for a new car has always been a bit "uncomfortable." That is why we were pleasantly surprised to meet David Starky & shop at Delray Honda. The first thing we noticed when we drove up, no one was there to help open my car door for me AND then no one was there to gently help me walk into the showroom. David Starky did greet us INSIDE and was very helpful with all our questions & concerns. We were still unsure which car to buy and when we did return a few days later to buy the Accord, it was because of the friendly and undemanding atmosphere at Delray Honda. We also bought the Extended Service & Maintanence Agreement. Hopefully we will be as satisfied with that experience and can then happily direct anyone we know who is interested in buying a car to this helpful & competent dealership. more

We worked with a great sales rep who was able to meet our budget and was very friendly and helpful. Got a few additional perks (key chain, pin stripe added, car cleaning kit, touch up paint) which was nice considering how much money was spent. Our only negative experience, which can be expected in any car dealership was the struggle with the finance person to get an acceptable interest rate. more

I originally went in for service to repair a dead battery and while waiting for the car I went into the showroom. I thought I had too many payments left to lease a new car but the salesman was very helpful, we worked out the numbers and I have a new car. more
