Disappointed and Not Recommended 6/1/2007

I've used Dave's Limo in the past to take me to the Philadelphia Airport and they were fine. When I used Dave's recently to go to New York to take a cruise with my two sisters, I was disappointed with their service on my return home. First of all, they were over 2 hours late picking us up at the cruise terminal. We were told the driver was in downtown NY and couldn't leave without being dispatched. The person who handles the dispatch was in a meeting and couldn't be disturbed. When the driver finally came to get us - he drove well over 90 miles an hour down the NJ turnpike, while cradling a cell phone on his shoulder (isn't it illegal to drive in NJ talking on a cell phone without a headset?). To add insult to injury - he was clipping his fingernails with a nail clipper all at the same time! I was afraid for my life on that trip home. Needless to say - I wouldn't recommend this company. more

You were expecting a stretch for that price? 3/20/2007

In response to toreador13 review, did you not realize that this service is a shuttle service? Shuttle meaning 'shared ride'. I have lived in this area for 13 years and have always used Dave's and only Daves. I travel alot for work and pleasure and have always found them reliable. It may take a little longer but it sure beats the price of a private service. Sorry your ride was not a good experience, but it sounds like you were in a hurry. As far as your phone call to the office; in my own personal experience I have found that even if I have a complaint if I do it with a decent attitude that the response I get on the other end is better received. You can't just call and start complaining to the first person that answers the phone. It just sounds as if you are not familiar with this type of service and this situation inconvenienced you. Maybe you were having a bad day. I would recommend Daves Limousine to anyone I know unless you need to take a surf board, they can't accomodate them. more

Regret doing business with them 3/1/2007

I made the mistake of paying for this service upfront to and from the airport. The ride to the philadelphia airport was on-time and everything was fine. But when I returned to Philadelphia they were 40 minutes late picking me up. In addition they showed up with 2 additional fares (going to a location 45 minutes from my house) that I knew nothing about originally. They wanted to drop the other 2 fares off first before taking me home. In the end, I had to get a different ride home, because I couldn't spare the extra hour and half that was going to be added to my ride home. When I called to discuss the situation, I was spoken to in a loud voice and harsh tone - the situation was not resolved to my satisfaction. I most certainly regret the entire experience. Service is barely acceptable, but web page is useless 11/30/2005

While they do manage to get you to the right location on time, there are two things that bother me about the service. First, one must call them from the airport ground transportation location to get them to come pick you up after your plane has arrived. the wait from the time of this phone call can be as much as 30 minutes. I would hope that there is some better way to make sure that vehicles are available for pickup than through this call and hope someone is nearby method. The second problem I have is with their web presence. it is great that they have a web page, but it would be better if they actually used it as advertised. DO NOT USE the web page to request information. It would appear that no one checks the e-mails generated when you fill out any of the forms. You must call them directly to get any information or make any reservations. In this day and age I find it reprehensibe that any company should have a web page which is misleading. more

Best Airport Limo In Philly 11/29/2005

I am extremely pleased with this service. I have used thdem several times and find them to always be on time and get you to your flight in the time promised. I also found them less expensive then a taxi. The vans are large and very comfortable and have room for your liggage. Also, at drop off point they help you with luggage. Friendly, clean vans and they come quickly when you call them from the airport. PROS: Great Service CONS: None more

my family takes this 9/10/2005

My family has taken this to go to the airport. And they provide a pretty good service. I havent heard any complaints about them yet. So i would recommend them. Its the best way to travel these days anyway with the gas prices going up and toll prices that are insane. I mean come on it cost like $60 just to go to NYC. So you might as well take this Philadelphia Owned business. more

DAVE'S LIMOUSINE SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING. I USE THEIR SERVICE QUITE OFTEN AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM. THEIR DRIVERS ARE VERY COURTEOUS AND ALWAYS ON TIME WHEN IT COMES TO BEING PICKED UP. AS FOR THE GIRLS IN THE OFFICE, THEY ARE OUTSTANDING. ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL. I WILL ALWAYS USE DAVE'S LIMOUSINE SERVICE. more
