D & M Heating and Air Conditioning

We have used D & M Heating & Air Conditioning for several different projects. The main project was that they put in central air conditioning with no ducts. It was necessary for them to work up in the attic for that job. Everything that they have worked on has been done perfectly. We are always pleased with their customer service, knowledge and reasonable prices. The owner even comes out to ensure everything is done to satisfaction. They are a really great company. more

D & M is a wonderful company and they do a fantastic job. My thermostat wasn't working properly so I called them to help me fix it. Foolishly, I didn't realize that it was only a battery that needed replacing. The job wasn't too demanding, but they were very helpful and nice. more

I needed D & M Heating and Air a couple of years ago during a real hot spell that we had. My son know's Kurt's son, so we called them. They came immediately on the same day and fixed what needed to be fixed. Later, I figured it was time for us to get a new furnace and air conditioner, so I called them again. There was one weird thing while D & M Heating & Air Conditioning was installing a space heater. It wasn't their fault, it was just the dynamics of the heater and they really came through in the end. Before them, I used to deal with another company that was good but started sliding. I've been with D & M for years now and they're a good heating and A/C contractor. more

I've used D & M Heating & Air Conditioning a number of times in terms of getting a new furnace and AC system. Today, they came in for some repairs for the AC system as well. I find that I can trust the people that come to work, especially Tim in particular. I continue to use their services because of their value and trust I have in the place. Our old air conditioner went out 14 years ago, and we needed a new one right away. D & M Heating & Air Conditioning were available and offered the same brand that we had. I was satisfied immediately with the way the person came and handled the sale and installation. We had a little problem a year later, and they came over and handled it. They gave me a really fair price on a new furnace which was installed in October. They serviced our previous one, and the affordability of the parts, the workmanship, and the services was just right on top. They kept it going all those years while we were on a limited budget. I awoke to no heat and it was 28 degrees outside. I made a call to D&M who is a Carrier Dealer and I had a Carrier furnace. Jeff called before arriving as requested and had all of the parts to effect a quick and speedy repair. He also got my April Air unit working and replaced the pad. I purchased their maintenance program and they will be coming out shortly to go over the air conditioning unit to make sure that it is operating at peak efficiency. This was our first time using D & M Heating & Air Conditioning and they ended up doing 2 things for us on a big project. First they started by putting in a zone heating system, and then they put in a new furnace. It turned out very well. I went with them to begin with because I had already interviewed another firm to do the same thing and I could just tell that they seemed to be a lot more forthcoming with the costs and what was going to be done. They advised me I could it this way or that way, very clearly, while the other folks seemed to want to hide what it was they were going to do. Their explanation of what they were going to do and the contract that we signed were very clear. I've already told a couple people about them. The quality of their work and the quality of the product is exemplary and the price is very competitive, in fact it's lower. But I didn't make my choice just on price, but the quality of their work and the advice they gave me was really a motivating factor. We had 2 problems at different times and each time we called them, within only a few hours they arrived on-site and fixed it. The problems didn't happen again. more

D & M Heating & Air Conditioning does the routine spring and winter cleaning of the furnace, changing of the filters if need be for my air conditioning and heating units. I've used them for years and years now because I like their customer service. I appreciate that they call before they arrive and when they arrive, they introduce themselves. They also don't take very long to work. They're in and out. more

Our condo was built in 1980 and we needed a new furnace. We had the to opportunity to interview two businesses and D & M Heating & Air Conditioning was one of them. We went with them because of Kurt's honesty, guidance, and his ability to explain things well. He talked to us about the size of our condo and gave us choices for equipment and prices. The guys that did the job were great and everything went in nicely. Our electric bill went down $50 within three months of the installation thanks to the equipment Kurt advised us on. D & M also called us when it was time for cleaning the air conditioner and furnace. They had decent rates for that service. They're a very reliable and good company. more

Last time D & M Heating & Air Conditioning were here, they installed a new furnace after it went out. When I called, they responded within hours and still had records of the furnace I had since they were the ones to install it years ago. They put in the latest model of what I had before which was exactly what I wanted. They were very courteous, helpful, answered my questions, and went above and beyond both electrically and mechanically. I've been with them for a number years and this is the third or fourth time I've had them over for a number of projects and they've always done a great job. That's why I've stayed with them. more

The only reason I'm giving D & M Heating & Air Conditioning 4 stars instead of 5 is because I'm a firm believer that there's always room for improvement. We've used them a couple of times at our old house for cleaning and maintenance and my mother-in-law just had a furnace put in by them. The last job they did for us was installing a furnace and it was excellent. I can't complain, and I've already recommended them. more

D & M Heating & Air Conditioning was recommended to me by a friend, and I called them when my furnace wasn't working. They fixed it on the spot, but it turned out it would be cheaper to get a new furnace than do repairs. They did a temporary fix, and then they came back out and put a new furnace in. They were on time, and they did a great job. They were very professional, and they informed me on how to use the new furnace. I thought it was a very good experience! more

We have a 20+ year old furnace with an internal configuration and tech that is becoming obsolete fast. However, the D&M tech that came over had the problem diagnosed quickly, had the part(s) available to get it running again and tested it thoroughly. It's been responding just fine to the thermostat since. more

I was satisfied with D & M Heating & Air Conditioning's service. I have one problem with air getting in the house in a particular spot, so I don't think the technician did that right. But I'm going to have my son take a look at it, and if he can't get it working then I'll call them. Other than that he did a good job. more

I've used D & M Heating & Air Conditioning for almost thirteen years. They do my furnace and air conditioner maintenance on a yearly basis. When it came time to replace those units, I contacted them, asked for information, and asked for somebody to come out and do an assessment to make sure I was looking at the correctly sized unit for my house. I was happy with the discussion I had. They didn't try and sell me a bigger unit for more money if I didn't need it. The people doing the installation were on time, completed it within the time they said they would, and were very courteous. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. They also explained the operation of the thermostat to me before they left so that I had a good understanding of how it worked. more

From contact to finish, D&M Heating & Air Conditioning did everything they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. The price was reasonable in my book. That's the whole package. They installed a furnace and an air conditioning unit. The installation went well. Everybody was on time, which is important. I didn't have to wait a large window of time for someone to show up. Everybody was knowledgeable, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. You can't ask for a lot more. I would recommend them without a doubt. There were no surprises. Especially on a large purchase like this, that's really important. more
