Fabulous Bike PLUS Customer Service ! A winner ! 3/10/2014

After due diligence research on electric bikes, I recently purchased the IZIP Zuma step-through Cruiser, built by Currie Tech. I expected a quality ebike and I GOT it! I didn't expect such great customer service but omg- I GOT it! Smart folks in Customer service actually answer the phone and help! I live in San Francisco and my IZIP gets me around Town so perfectly. I just enjoy it all - pedal, pedal assist and Zoom! . So Fun! This spring I'm in Tucson really enjoying my IZIP on bike trails along the desert washes. I had, what turns out to be, a minor problem with the brakes. I called Currie Tech. customer service, since my bike is registered on their website. I had the good fortune to speak to Christina who immediately understood I wasn't near my dealer and called the local Tucson IZIP dealer on my behalf. Christina got me an appointment that same day and the name of the contact person at the very competent Ajo Bikes Store! Now this is fabulous customer service!! My bike was serviced in one day `- no charge. more

by far, the best electric bike on the market 3/3/2014

I have had my Zuma for a year and a half. An outstanding value. Rock solid construction and plenty of zip to get me around my community. Leaves all the competition in the dust.. more

excellent experience 1/31/2014

My experience starts with unpacking my wife's gift to find the battery won't take a charge. Tina at the currie customer service team immediately sends a new battery to the house and couldn't be more helpful. I believe I had a defective scooter cause later I found out it wasn't the battery it was the charging port- but no worries cause Tina sent a new one to the house. With friendly and accommodating staff they really made the experience a non issue. I couldn't be more happy "dealing with it" cause it was such a minor issue and getting it resolved was even less painful than figuring out the problem. Curries' management should be applauded for both hiring friendly staff like Tina and for their customer service; resolving issues promptly and painlessly. I would definitely recommend buying Currie! more

I purchased a Currie Lightning FS many years ago and decided to undertake getting it back in operation. I called the 800 number and spoke with Tina, who was absolutely solid in all aspects of her service, and inquired about a replacement battery and owner's manual. She had a remedy for both issues. She was aware of the blizzard like conditions here at the time. I was extremely impressed. She is good! more

Currie Tech is the first E-bike supplier that I worked with as a dealer and service center. In a very tough bike market generally and e-bike market specifically, they adapted and helped me develop my business. The advantage is they have a wide variety of models, styles and price points to meet the needs of potential customers. It is my intention to continue to work with Currie now and in the future. more

Great Bike, great service 10/24/2013

I have had my eZip Trailz for about a month now, and could not be happier. I ride it to work (13 mile round trip) daily using both PAS and TAG. It is a fairly heavy bike, but it does have 7 speeds, so after a few trips you forget the weight. I get asked about it everywhere I go, and people can't believe it has the range and the speed it does. Worked great right out of the box and the minimal assembly required was only a 30 minute deal. As far as customer service is concerned, let me say this. I just lost one of my keys to the battery rack, and sent an email to Currie asking how to replace it. Within hours I got a response from Deanna at Currie, and she mailed me a new pair of keys....they arrived in two days at no cost to me. Easy to recommend a good product that performs as advertised, and is backed by responsible and responsive customer service. I am sure this will not be my last Currie bike! more

The Eflow E3 Nitro I bought from Currie Tech has changed my life significantly. 10/16/2013

My husband and I have purchased many bikes over the years. I purchased the Eflow E3 Nitro from Currie Tech Electric Bikes 20 months ago and it has been my way to lose weight. I've lost 230 lbs by riding a bike and changing my diet. My fitness levels have changed dramatically because of it. My bike is the best thing that's helped me progress in my fitness. I love that bike. I love it; I love it; I love it. It makes me want to pedal faster and pedal harder. Basically, it has changed my whole commute. I commute thirty miles a day by bike and I look forward to riding it every day. Currie Tech Electric Bike's customer service is great as well. If you have any questions about the product, you can get a hold of somebody quickly and get those questions answered. The sales process was marvelous. Really, the customer service is excellent. more

Love Boudicca (my red E-bike). No service issues. Very happy w Hi-Tech's customer service. Now I can keep up with my husband almost. It's a fun ride and I feel like a road warrior on Boudicca. Would not be riding but for this e bike. more

The IZIP's great. I've been letting my friends try it and ride it. I just got home from going to the local Currie Tech Electric Bikes distributor. I had to have the derailleur replaced; I had broken it. The local distributor is very good. The people are very, very nice. The bike's very handy. My brother-in-law, who has a Honda, even said, "WOW!" It's surprising how quick it is for a bike, you know. I get around on it. I don't drive, but I also use a fifteen-year-old Trek Hybrid 720. The Trek's a lot lighter than the IZIP, but the IZIP is more convenient. more

A Pleasant Experience with a really competent rep 7/29/2013

Unfortunately, my ezip bike battery died today(while still under warranty). I called the phone number provided in my warranty paperwork, and surprisingly , was greeted by a company rep(Tina) who actually understood my predicament immediately. Not only that, but then she proceeded to walk me through an analysis of my problem. She patiently explained the situation and informed me of the options open to me by the warranty. Imagine...she understood, she informed and she competently explained things, all in a relaxed and informative manner. That's really RARE these days! I almost didn't mind that the ezip experience is costing me more money. more

Real Transportation 7/16/2013

I an currently riding my second Currie product. My first is a 2008 Mountain Trailz which I really like. My current E-Bike is a 2013 Trailz Commuter E-Bike with the Real Force LiFePO4 lithium battery. The 08 was great, but the Commuter blows it away. Its the next level in mid range E-Bikes for the casual to heavy commuter. At speeds up to 15 mph or more if I'm pedaling, I can beat the bus to work and eZip around traffic when the street slows down. The customer service is top notch, I've had some questions about my bike and they are very responsive either by e-mail or phone. The Commuter is a great bike, its comfortable, easy to use and hase great range. People ask me about it all the time and I tell them where to get one. www.currietech.com more

I won an IZip E-bike 3 Zuma bike from Currie Technologies as part of a promotional contest. I love the bike. I live in a town with a lot of hills. It's an electric bike and I love that it is easy to zip up the hills. I love that I never have to get off the bike. It's comfortable and cute. Everyone should have one. The people there were very nice, very helpful. They were great. The company is great, the bike's great. I've had no problems. more

poorly manufactered 5/11/2013

I purchased 2 ezip 450 scooters two years ago, have had nothing but trouble with one of them. After the first ride the handlebars twisted all the way around snapping all the wires. I had to get them fixed. After close comparison we noticed that whomever manufactured the scooters did a shabby job wiring one of the scooters. Customer service 2years ago and now still sucks. We have bought a new throttle and it still doesnt work. The cost of the scooter is alot for 2 years of trouble. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT more
