After refusing to honor the online coupon, the manager told us over the phone he would get the paperwork ready for us and to bring in a check to hold the car until we could get the financing striaght. An hour later, we leave work and show up at the dealership only to see that same manager in negotiations with someone else. Threw off the whole workday, and not even a phone call! Just an awful experience! more

I came to this Honda dealership because it happens to be the closest to my house. I also realize it was a very busy day at this particular dealer. However, this doesn't excuse the rudeness of the employees. I walked past several (more than 10) sales people and no one even acknowledged me. I didn't get a "Hello" from a single soul. I was checking out the CR-V on the showroom floor for about 5 minutes when the woman at the desk FINALLY asked me if I needed something and I told her, I was taking my business elsewhere. Not only did he remember us, but he went and got our wiper before we noticed him and had time to ask about it! more

We went into Crown Honda daydreaming about the car of my dreams, the Honda Element. We sat down with Tim Kirkpatrick and told him what we wanted, as they didn't have any on the lot. Three days later he called and said they had one. We went over that night and worked with Tim throughout the night, test-driving, paperwork, etc. We really had no intention of buying, but it was a great deal on a Honda Certified Pre-Owned. We went to this dealership just to inquire about a vehicle that we wanted to soon purchase and ended up driving home with that vehicle. We were given a good deal on a 2011 Pilot and decided to go ahead with the purchase. We were the very last customer to leave that Friday and our sales associate, Sherlene Mullens and the finance officer whose name I forgot, stayed with us until the end. But the deal wasn't sealed that night and we had to come back a few days later to finalize it and Ms. Sherlene was there, on her OFF day, to help us yet again. Erin was aggressive and gave us a decent offer. She gave us the offer which we mutually agreed upon without any surprises. Judy was extremely fabulous and friendly. She helped us test-drive the vehicle and while purchasing the car, she made sure that everything was clean before it went out of the door. It is always nice to walk into a dealership where people smile at you and do not throw attitude at us. For us, this was a major point in dealing with Crown Honda. I Bought a 2008 Civic LX AT Sedan. Did an Edmunds lead pass request (Quote). Promptly received an email.The sales Consultant was great, we basically did the deal on the phone. Great experience from beginning to end. Their internet sales have to be the best, I don't see how the experience could have been better. The reason we purchased our Honda Pilot from Crown Honda was because of the great product but because of the great customer service that we received from Brett Powell and Raja. Brett was well prepared and explained in grave detail concerning the vehicle. He was pleasant and very patient. He is a excellent salesman and we were very impressed. I had spent almost two months trolling the Web for a great deal on a used car, when I finally zeroed in on Crown Honda of Southpoint. I never had to search elsewhere. I saw a fabulous deal on a certified used Ford Focus stationwagon with less than 100K on it, for a steal (under 6K including all costs) -- and my wife and I raced out to Crown in the mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Even though we were looking at one of the most inexpensive offers they had (pretty sure it was the LEAST expensive), we were treated like we were looking for a brand new Honda. They handled the financing smoothly, and did indeed count the internet coupon for $250 they had advertised on the Web site. We will never look elsewhere, in the future, for a used or new car. After requesting quote online, I received emails from internet dept with price and a contact email from salesman. Price was several hundred dollars less than a neighboring Honda dealer for the same make/model/features! We spoke on the phone, and followup questions were rapidly answered via email. Mike Duncan was warm and kind, never being too pushy. He treated my parents well during the time when I was signing all the paperwork. I actually laughed and enjoyed my time with the sales manager (his name escapes me), sharing personal stories. The entire process was so smooth, start to finish. We came in looking to buy an Odyssey after doing some research. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted and treated as if we were the most important customers in the place. Jake wasn't pushy or overbearing. We first went to the computer to see the difference between the two trim types that we wanted to look at. He targeted what we wanted and then took us for a test drive. When we wanted to look at the second type of trim, the van we wanted was being taken for a test drive. He did everything to make sure that we were notified when they returned so we could look at. Once we made a decision to get the van, he worked to make everything go smoothly and efficiently. It took two negotiations to get the rates and prices we could live with. We had to rush a little at the end to get to a soccer game, so Jake helped move things along. Mike with finanace then took over and he got us in and out of the paperwork so that we could get to our soccer game. We walked out of there with our new 2010 Odyssey, but Jake made sure since he wasn't going to be there the next day that someone would be there to take care of me. Brandon also did a very nice job when I walked in the next day to take care of us and ensure that things were done and we got on our way when it was complete. It was the best experience we've had buying a car in a long time. more

The sales manager who worked with me on this purchase was straightforward,professional, fair, very attentive, & easy to work with.She did a very good job of steering me through the process of purchasing my new Honda. There were none of the games,double-talk,or bait & switch tactics that give car dealers a bad name from Ms. Mullens. She conducted herself very professionally throughout, & I give her high marks for her work with me on this.I'm pleased (again) with my overall buying experience at Crown. If they keep doing business in the manner they have over the last 20 + years I'll probably be a Crown customer for life. more

This is my third new Honda purchase (2nd from Crown) and was the best by far. My salesman, Oliver George, was given me through my Costco membership, and he was professional, responsive, never pushy. Using the Internet to pre-shop, and e-mail to communicate meant that we worked out our deal quickly, and both knew what to expect at each step. Although I'd pre-arranged financing with my credit union, Mike Asbury told me about a better deal through Honda that saved me over $3000. This dealership has nice, friendly sales people who meet you more than half way. I've used their service department for years, and am committed to continuing to do so. more
