If you are worried about buying a guitar online buy it from here. The guitar was packed so well even ups could not destroy it. In addition it came in excellent condition the only thing I had to do out of the box was tune it. I am going to make some mods down the line but overall excellent product. more

Cream City Music sold me an amp through ebay (their user name is Warpdrive music) about two months ago and it was a screaming deal! I got an all tube Eden head that was a discontinued or prototype model and it meets all my needs and was half the price of the new version. Great store, great Ebayer, great amp! more

I first saw the listing for the guitar I purchased on Ebay. I was very interested, so I sent an email inquiring about the possibility of bartering the price. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I received a response, and that they would be willing to work with me. I then contacted them by phone, and spoke with one of their representatives. He was very accomodating, and answered all questions I had regarding my purchase. I am not a rich person, so I appreciate the fact that they took the time to answer what may have seemed like stupid, but I felt, necessary questions, before I spent my hard earned money with them. Definately Milwaukee's best guitar shop. 10/19/2008

As an avid guitar collector and enthusiast, I've spent hours in most local music stores. Cream City is without question the best of the bunch. The staff is helpful and friendly and the selection is great. It is worth a visit alone to have a look at the vintage guitars up front and in the amazing Gretsch room. When you combine that with an awesome Fender Custom Shop selection as well as the coolest Gibson selection around you've got a connoisseur's dream shop. They also have a great selection of guitars aimed at beginners and used guitars for the budget minded musician. I rarely go anywhere else for guitars these days. Hands down the best selection of vintage instruments in Milwaukee. This place has the coolest gibson wall I have ever seen...It has almost one of everything they make. The people behind the counter actually care about what you are looking for and they don't hang all over you and try to make you by merch you don't want. A must stop for someone looking for the best guitars in Milwaukee. more

The store is the most friendly I have ever been to. The selection is great and the prices are unbeatable. On the whole one of Milwaukee's best kept secrets, but one of the best places here. I highly recomend cream city, they helped launch my music career. Pros: Thumbs up, the wide varitey of prices and quality is great. Cons: None I can think of. more

Greatest guitar finds in town 10/9/2008

Having been to all of the music stores in the metro-Milwaukke area, Cream City is my favorite, bar none. Cream City has vintage instruments in droves. Their new or used instrument selection is the largest in town. They've got an entire room dedicated to Gretch guitars and basses. Their staff will bend over backwards to get you exactly what YOU want at the best price. I've purchased everything from bass guitars to powered speakers from Cream City Guitars and have been nothing but pleased with the product and experience. Hats off to you Cream City. Knowledgeable staff with variety of instruments 10/8/2008

Cream City Music is by far one of the best guitar shops in Milwaukee. Not only does it have current, top of the line instruments, but it has an amazing selection of vintage pieces as well. I enjoy coming into the store because the high pressure sales environment you usually find in other retail shops is nonexistent here. Most importantly, the staff is amazing- they are always ready to help, and you can tell that they really love what they do. Pros: helpful staff, great selection, relaxing atmosphere more

Great Vintage Gear 10/8/2008

This place is like a candy store. Any music lover or gear head that walks into this place will be in complete awe for the whole time. When you walk into Guitar Center (which is located less than 2 miles down the same road) you get the sense of ""everyone has this already"" and there is no individualism. Cream City is always changing the inventory up, it's always something new, something fresh, something that you haven't seen before. The fact that all the guys there are amazing specialists at tons of different areas of music, and gear is just awesome. Plus the place doesn't smell like 17 year old teenagers who watch ""Metalocolypse"" in their basement. Great place, great people, great gear, great times for all. This is a great store for any serious musician. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and well versed. Great atmosphere, and a must see for guitar and bass players. It embodies a feel that will make any musician feel comfortable, and right at home. Please stop in to this shop! more

Whenever I step into this place I always am in shock at the amazing selection of new, used, and some of the coolest vintage gear in town. The staff there takes the time to make sure that you are completly satisfied. It's always fun to stop in on any day to just take a look around at anything new they've gotten since your last visit.
