Cream City Music

I have been tryin g to get my hands on a Grestch Btian Stzer Hot Rod for some time. The problem was, I couldnt sell the two other Grestch's I owned, to get the money for the new one. In the past, most music stores only offered what i would consider Pawn Shop trade in prices. I took a chance and called Cream City after seeing some B stock Grestch's on their website. Long story made short, they made me an offer I couldnt refuse. Not only did Ben offer me very close to what I was looking to sell them for locally, he even sent me the box's to ship them. See, I live a thousand or so miles away, but I felt more comofrtable dealing with Ben and cream city over the phone than I was with the large chain music stores in my area. My B Stock Setzer arrived, and it is basiclly a new guitar. Allthough they described the flaw in the finish on the back in detail prior to me purchasing, the flaw is almost unnoticeable. Great guitar, great price, great service, and a great ending. From here on in, i will purchase long distance from these guys before being taken advantage of locally with the big chains. more

I have been buying online from Cream City Music for years now, and they have consistently cut us great deals--excellent pricing, good set-up. Their gear, top quality stuff, arrives on time and as described. They are incredibly loyal to their customers; I once purchased a solid-state amp that broke down two years after purchase. The warranty had expired a year earlier, but they helped find an even better replacement amp and cut us an excellent deal on a high-end effect pedal to make up for the disappointment. Really fun, personable people, too. The staff inquired about the music I make personally, and they listened to it and actually gave me. Now that's dedication to the customers! Honestly, Cream City Music is an institution that I wholeheartedly support. Good people. Good store. more

I recently picked out a Taylor guitar from another store and was going to sell some items at Cream City to buy it. Everything changed that day as the entire staff and Joe G. went beyond great customer service to make the Taylor a reality for me right there in their store. The staff pulled this all together right before my eyes. Every associate there worked together. more

I've been playing bass for 40 years. I've owned dozens of basses and have had a variety of repair people work on my instruments over the years. While a few of those repair people have been pretty good, Ron Jones at CCM is the best of the best. I drove 75 miles to have him take a look at an emergency repair on my Fender Victor Bailey and not only did he fix it on the spot, but it has never played better. I'll take all my basses to Ron at CCM from now on. Thanks again CCM - you're the best! more

After waiting what seemed like forever for a particular bass, Ben contacted me on Friday and said that there was no way we were going to see one before February at the earliest, as they just weren't going to be arriving in the US, period, end of sentence. Not his fault for sure. Well, disappointing, but, nothing he or I could do. So, plan on going to pick up the deposit $, and just carry on. Well, Saturday comes and I get an email from Ben. A used one just walked into the shop (yeah, figuratively)and he wants to know if I'm "interested". Gee...it's not the same color I was looking for, but, it IS, the sound I wanted...Hmmm. Then he sends a photo! Wow. He gives me the 1st right of refusal! Now, this isn't an expensive guitar. In fact, it's probably one of the least expensive basses out there, but still, it's one that I've really wanted for a long time. It's not as if Ben hasn't had anything else to do in the past few weeks...he and the rest of the CCM crew have been busy as heck out there (Ben in particular..he knows why)but still, he took the time to look after this relatively small sale. That is just the way these folks do things out there. Ben just happened to be the fellow that we ran into the first time we were in the shop, and he's been our "go-to-guy" since, but I know that everyone at CCM works just as hard and is just as dedicated to helping their customers in every way possible. We truly feel more like friends when we walk in to the shop than just someone who's going to be spending money, and that is seriously what keeps us going back. Everyone at CCM works hard and they deserve your business..simply because they'll earn it! more

I've bought a number of guitars, a great amp, and other accessories from CC Music, and what an excellent store to buy from. If you are looking to buy a guitar or even just "looking" this is the place to be. There are no "high pressure" salespeople, CC Music has an excellent range of products, a courteous and very knowledgeable staff, they are true to their word (which sometimes is very hard to find in business today) AND they treat you as a special customer each time you visit the store. It's a nice laid-back atmosphere, and there are plenty of guitars on hand to choose from. If you want an excellent buying experience, then this is the place to be. Their service dept is superb when it comes to service and set-up of your guitar. I highly recommend this store, and special kudos out to Kim, Ben, Brian & Joe, who are some of the excellent staff I've had the pleasure to deal with. Keep up the great work! more

The nice thing about Cream City is that the staff knows what they're doing. If you need assistance they'll help you and they seem glad to do it. They have a great selection, specifically of guitars and they're pretty flexible when it comes to prices and working with you to make you happy.
