Wonderful and Affordable 5/12/2011

We showed up when they told us my car was ready. We were handed the key and were ready to go. My daughter had noticed something was wrong on her driver seat and they immediately came out and fixed it at no charge. I know that I will be sending my daughter back to them again. She goes to Georgia Tech and trust her with them more than any place in Atlanta. more

Fast, Friendly, and Reasonable 5/5/2011

I think Cooper Lake Automotive is fantastic! I was lucky enough to be right around the corner from this great repair shop when the front wheel of my truck felt like it was going to fall off. I pulled into Cooper Lake and asked if they could look at it real quick, and I was so Impressed when they got it inside and up in the air in about 5 minutes. They quickly confirmed that it was the wheel bearing, they gave me a reasonable estimate and ordered the part. This was right around closing time, but they stuck around for about an extra 30 minutes while I was waiting for my ride. The people at cooper lake are so nice and accommodating, and they got right to work on my truck the next morning. I will definately use them again and I will gladly recommend them to my friends and family. more

Cooperlake auto is an honest place. I really believe that the people here actually tell you the truth about your repairs and they do excellent work. After too many dishonest auto repair shops, I am glad to find one I can trust. more

Best Auto Shop I've found! 4/20/2011

I've been taking my Jeep to Cooper Lake Automotive (CLA) for more than a year, and I highly recommend them to anyone. They are pleasant and friendly, able to do the work as promised and for the amount quoted. I compared prices before having two major repairs this last year, and I found CLA to have lower prices AND I trust them which, as a single woman, is very important to me. As a bonus, CLA is close to my home and offers courtesy transportation when I drop my car off. Great shop!!! more

great service 4/11/2011

I have taken my 2001 Xterra to cooper lake for several repairs as well as routine oil changes. They have always been able to work me into the schedule even when they are busy. I feel like they give honest assessments of the underlying issues without adding a list of additional repair needs and costs. I have had no problems with there service / repairs. more

Great For Car Repairs 4/6/2011

Cooper Lake has always treated me fairly. I recently had to put a new transmission in my car and they found one promptly, installed it and I was good to go. They are always pleasant and aim to please!! They were recommended to me by a relative when I moved to the Atlanta area six years ago and I'd never go to anyone else. more

Mechanics you can trust! 4/1/2011

Cooper Lake Automotive has kept my 1993, 1994, and 2002 cars running well since we moved to Smyrna in 2005. They are the best service people I have ever found in my 52 years of driving. Gary, the manager, is terrific in focusing on problems and finding the most effective and economical solution. He is great at working me into their busy schedule on short notice to handle critical problems. All of the mechanics are very competent and friendly to deal with. Beth, the receptionist, is efficient and a delight. Honest and competent auto service? What an amazing find! more

Consistent in Giving Great Service & Value! 3/29/2011

Cooper Lake Automotive has been servicing my vehicles for years. They are consistent in extending the best mantenance & repair, excellent customer service and the BEST VALUE FOR MY MONEY. I am a creature of habit- meaning, I always ""shop around"" and obtain pricing before I go to Cooper Lake for a service. Although I never tell them, they consistently charge in the most conservative range of the prices I get. How incredible! I am excited to know that, as a woman, I can relax & be taken care of when it comes to my car! more

I had a great experience at Cooper Lake Automotive. They were easy to talk to and answered all my questions. I felt that I could trust their recommendations and they didn't try to perform work that was not needed. It was easy to contact them by phone and email, and the estimate was detailed to explain all services that were performed. You don't have to worry when you take your car there, its in good hands! more

Best Auto Care in Atlanta! 12/6/2010

Have taken my car to these wonderful folks since I moved to area three years ago; couldn't recommend anyone more highly than the terrific folks at Cooper Lake Automotive! They not only took exceptional care of my car, but of me as well - they let me know separate services that I'd requested were included with some of the regular services I had already received so that I did not need to pay for a service unnecessarily. This seems unique, in my experience. The level of both customer service and automotive care is literally unsurpassed. Highly, highly recommended! more

I have been very pleased with the service I receive at Cooper Lake Automotive. The staff is courteous and keeps you aware of the progress on your vehicle. The service techs will even speak with you personally to determine the exact problem and appropriate repair to address it. I've never been surprised by the final bill because their quotes are detailed and accurate. I highly recommend Cooper Lake Automotive. more

Ever since moving to Atlanta in 2002 I have always relied upon Cooper Lake Automotive for my automotive service needs. This is a no-gimmick, straightforward operation. The owners and employees clearly explain the problems they find and the solutions they propose. They are upfront about the costs and they deliver on their promise. Please don't take your vehicle here 8/15/2010

People this shop has some shady practices. The customer service is non-existent. They never call you to update you when they say they will. And when your calling to check on your vehicle they act like your bothering them. Hello?? Everyone needs their car in Georgia. This place is always filled to capacity which should indicate that they are way too overworked and will over look important details on your car. My vehicle was not fixed properly the first time and broke dwn on the side of he road after a month. Cooper Lake even had the audacity to have an attitude about it. A much more reputable auto repair shop also informed me that the part was not even new. No one even apologized or showed an ounce of true empathy for the inconvenience of it all. Please do not get caught up in the hype people. I too brought my vehicle here b/c of the rave reviews. I believe they have people posting positive reviews up here because both times i dealt with them the service was deplorable. This is the web people, Cooper Lake is an illusion. more

  • We are a full service automotive shop able to take care of anything your car or light truck may need, from engines to transmissions and everything in between. We pride ourselves on giving you an accurate diagnosis and quick work for the repairs you actually need. This is a 10,000 square foot facility with 14 car lifts and numerous flat bays. We also employ ASE certified technicians, and almost all of our employees have either graduated or are currently attending college. We are able to test all vehicle makes and models that require an Emissions Test. We have the equipment and the know-how to repair any vehicle that has failed the state-required Emissions Test.
