I do not recommend cooper lake at all. It seems there always too busy to help you. I asked them to replace a starter for me and was told it would be 2 days for them to even look at my car. I asked why and they said there were cars ahead of me. Enough cars to for there be a 2 day delay? Bull. I saw very few cars at the front of the building. This was unacceptable. They also quoted an extremely high transmission fluid change which was also ridiculous. I went to another automotive shop a few miles away and got both done for less money than cooper lake quoted - starter and transmission fluid changed in 1 hour and 30 minutes! That's better than 2 days!!!! For these people making glowing reviews remember that there is a sign in there lobby giving automotive repair discounts for 5 star reviews on the net. So most of these glowing reviews are fake. Don't believe them more

One great thing about Cooper Lake Automotive is their honesty, they are not a company that just want to take your money, they value their work and customers and it shows. I brought my car in after stopping at the dealership and coming out with a $4,000.00 bill, after asking more detailed questions and bringing my husband in it turned out to be less than $500.00, I was done after that. I always feel taken advantage of when I go to the dealers without my husband, but at Cooper Lake Automotive they tell me exactly what it is and if there are other concerns but I never feel pressured or feel as if I am being deceived. Not to mention they do an awesome job on my car, plus Courtney has the best attitude, so willing to help. I’m done with the dealerships, Cooper Lake Automotive is where my car will be serviced. more

We take our cars to Cooper Lake Automotive because they are honest. I've been to dealers that lied, recommending service that didn't need to be done. Cooper Lake Automotive does not lie and they are very fair in their pricing. They even refused to charge me anything one time when they worked on my car all day but couldn't find the source of the issue. Most other places would charge you just for their time. more

I have always received competitive and honest estimates for repairs. One time I asked for various services and they told me I didn't need it and charged me $20 for the inspection. They could have easily done unnecessary work and charged me for it. It if family owned and I like to support local small businesses. more

Courtney was very professional on intake and explaining the charges for my timing belt, water pump,and air conditioning filter replacement work. The cost is fair and they are even helping with an additive for a leak that is very costly to repair. I would recommend this mechanic to anyone seeking a good provider. more

My wife and I were looking for a reasonably priced alternative to the Acura and Lexus dealerships we've previously been dealing with for our auto repairs and maintenance. Luckily, we came across Cooper Lake Automotive which is located only a couple of miles from our house, and has convenient Saturday hours. I was first drawn to this auto repair shop based on all the positive reviews, but now I can say first-hand that the kudos are warranted based on overall price and value. Courtney at the front desk is amazing, and seems so knowledgeable about cars that I thought she was also one of the mechanics. She isn't, but I know I can trust what she tells me and that the actual mechanics back in the work areas are first rate. If you've been getting your cars serviced at the dealership, you're paying too much. Being the frugal time, but also wanting excellent quality and value for my dollar, I've learned that Cooper Lake Automotive is a reliable place to have your vehicles serviced and maintained. more

I have been to Cooper Lake a few times. Each time has been a positive experience. Their mechanics seem to really know the cars well and never try to sell you serveice/parts you don't need. They are honest and fair which can be rare with some shops. The prices are reasonable and they get you in and out quickly (even without being scheduled). more

I have been to Cooper Lake Automotive for a wide range of mechanical services. Everything from routine oil changes to much more complicated engine repairs. I worked in my college's auto shop for two years and there is no other place in town that I would trust with my truck. They have always gone out of their way to make me feel like family and they have always treated me with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. Great group of people and very knowledgable. They value good business. more

  • We are a full service automotive shop able to take care of anything your car or light truck may need, from engines to transmissions and everything in between. We pride ourselves on giving you an accurate diagnosis and quick work for the repairs you actually need. This is a 10,000 square foot facility with 14 car lifts and numerous flat bays. We also employ ASE certified technicians, and almost all of our employees have either graduated or are currently attending college. We are able to test all vehicle makes and models that require an Emissions Test. We have the equipment and the know-how to repair any vehicle that has failed the state-required Emissions Test.
