Cooper Lake Auto is a very great place to get your car fixed. The first time I went there was to get my timing belt changed in my car. They did a very excellent job, and were able to get it done quickly. Now my car is back again to get my fuel pump fixed, which was really dangerous to drive around with. They promised to keep us updated with the car's condition, as well as progress on the repair job, as well as promising that they get it done tomorrow. I am very grateful to leave my vehicle in capable hands. more

We have used Cooper Lake for several years and have always found them to be honest and competent with they diagnose issues with our vehicles. They have worked on everything from my classic 66 to my 2010 vehicle and have even done inspections where they could ""find"" stuff to work on only to tell me everything looked great and they would ""be embarrassed to charge"" me. more

Called CLA due to belt squeak and then no start with 5-speed Maxima.Phone conversation went well and decided to have car towed to shop.(FstFwd)Per return call from Gary, testing ""revealed"" car needs new starter, starter relay, and inhibitor relay.Stated he was unable to get car cranked(umm..yeah!)and needed it to be running to perform any other tests.I suggested popping the clutch on the phone and his response to that was,yeah/maybe you could.Minus company contracted tow charge of $87,repair quote was for $490.Notified Gary that I would be towing it back home(addtl $85 w/diff service). At pick up($140 for tow/labor),I had some ?'s and Gary kept saying he can't do anything unless the car's running(once again...umm yeah).Suggested popping the clutch again and same response, yeah you could.Made to feel more like an imposer than a customer. My tow driver asked what was wrong with the car and he suggested, you guessed it!,pop the clutch.I was like EXACTLY!Which he did,and it started.Still wouldn't crank after shut-off.Had referred mobile mechanic come and problem was diagnosed in 30 min.Including pick up time for needed part(IGNITION SWITCH),and install, total time was 1hr 30 mins for a total of $115!WOW!Fired right up.Who knows, maybe a bad week for CLA,but a great aversion by me.Thank Heavens for a tow truck driver and a trusty mobile mechanic!Wish I had found the mob mech earlier and could have saved over $220 and at least 3 days of car rental fees!Needless to say, no referral here. more

I had a completely bad experience with Cooper Lake Automotives. After having my car towed there because of a busted radiator I had expected some great service far all the great reviews. I was dead wrong. I had to call them just to get a response on my car. I got a simple care a 1995 Toyota Camery. I could have changed the radiator myself but was going on vacation for a week. When I got back I never got a call so I went up there. Yes the radiator was in and replaced. But the car was still running hot. I was told by the front desk you need a new head gasket! Okay let me look closer. They recommend me do something to my car without seeing the obvious. The radiator fan was not even working when I left. They gave me the wrong key to another Toyota Camery they were working on and they did not show me they were concerned enough about my business to say hey we need to fix the fan or the car will certainly run hot again. I took my care to Kaffuman tires. more

Cooper Lake has worked on my car, my husband's truck and most recently his son's car. Each time Cooper Lake has repaired the vehicles in a timely fashion, kept us updated on costs, issues, and the status of the repair. The staff is courteous and professional. Any problems found after an oil change or repair has been corrected immediately. They are honest and if they are unable to perform a repair, such as a transmission, they referred us to a transmission shop they knew and trusted. We will continue to use Cooper Lake for all of our automotive needs. more

I was pleased with their work, especially the speediness (took car in on a weekday) of working on a few different issues. The price was fair, and I appreciate the care they took to fix up my car. more

I was pleased with the work and care 6/8/2012

I was pleased with the work and care Cooper Lake Automotive put into my car. They kept me in the loop regarding an issue with my air conditioning system, including the time and cost it would take for the repairs. The repairs took a little longer than I had expected (almost a full week), but the price they gave me was much better than what was quoted to me at a different shop. more

I have used Cooper Lake in the past for 6/5/2012

I have used Cooper Lake in the past for mine and my wife's personal vehicles. The staff is courteous and honest. They keep you well informed of what is going on with your vehicle. They do not try to up sell unnecessary services like most chain service centers do. Most recently I had the AC fail on my company car. The dealership that usually services my company's vehicles wanted a fortune to fix it. I got a quote from Cooper Lake for identical parts/services and they saved over 30% of what the dealership wanted. I first checked out Cooper Lake at Dave Ramsey's recommendation, and I have found everything he says about them to be true. I would recommend them to anyone. more
