Customer for life 1/2/2012

I recently needed to get my watch band repaired and I went to a couple of places before finally making it to Continental Diamond. The first place I went to held the watch for a couple of days then said they could not fix it. The second place I went to told me I would need to replace the entire band at a cost of $1,500. Then I went to continental diamond and was told I might need to replace the band, but they wanted to see if they could fix it first. By the way, their estimate on the band was $500. A short while after looking at the watch, Jim Goldfarb stated that he could simply fix the band. Not only that, he said there would be no charge for fixing the band. Jim has made a customer for life with that move! The honesty and professionalism he exhibited was astonishing. I can only offer great praise and highly recommend Continental Diamond. For someone to be honest and simply fix something instead of trying to up charge or try to sell a person something else is way too common these days. Again, Jim, Continental Diamond, you have a customer for life. Thanks more

Great Service - Friendly, stunning choices 10/26/2011

The staff listened (thanks Laurel!) I found easily what I wanted, Laurel helped me find the diamond I wanted to have set and patiently went through the 4C's when I was choosing between two stones. The pricing is very good - I checked around. I have never had such a good shopping experience - no pressure, just help and plain nice, friendly people. What a breath of fresh air!!! more

First of all, thank you Jane! I had heard good things about Continental Diamonds, and was new to shopping for jewelry. I wanted to find an engagement ring that was one of a kind and was looking for a wealth of knowledge to assist me on my search. Jane greeted me in a timely fashion despite the store being extremely busy. She must have spent at least two hours with me during the day on a Saturday showing me different bands, stones, and styles. I finally made the decision on a combination of an excellent stone and beautiful unique band, and my fiance fell in love with it and continues to get non-stop compliments on the ring! Value was also excellent as Jimmy offered a price I could not refuse! He wrote up a detailed insurance appraisal which made my life easy. I can tell you that I didn't feel overwhelmed, or pressured, or uncomfortable at any time through the process, which is amazing considering the magnitude of the moment for me. Thank you Continental Diamond, I would recommend you to anyone! more

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE 7/1/2011

I recently bought an engagement ring from Jane @ Continental Diamond and had an excellent experience with them. As a guy that had no knowledge of diamonds at all, they were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I went to several different places before Continental and never felt comfortable. Jane was extremely prepared for me (from phone conversations) and it was clear she listened to everything I said. Together, we found the perfect ring and it was on budget! I strongly recommend going to Continental Diamond and as a bonus, if you don't live in Minnesota, you do not have to pay any sales tax! It was great and I will continue to use them. more

Extremely Satisfied NYC Customer 6/29/2011

I received my wedding ring in the mail last night and I absolutely love it! When I opened the package, seeing the ring actually brought tears to my eyes (seriously). Thank you so much for working with me on this. I am so thankful to have been able to incorporate my grandmother's ring into my own wedding band. And I absolutely love the style. I didn't realize that the tapering on the wedding ring is the inverse shape to my engagement ring and so the two rings complement each other well!
