Regrettably, I ignored other bad reviews posted about Connie Duglin Linen, and paid the price. Connie Duglin Linen dropped the ball at EVERY stage of my order ? from consultation, delivery/installation through pickup. I had an initial appointment scheduled with a sales associate 4/27/12, which she never showed up for. When I arrived, I was told she was out of the office and a male admin ended up helping me. He was nice but had limited product knowledge, which was a challenge. The sales associate never followed up with me to apologize. When I called to make changes to my order, she emailed me the revisions and acted like it never happened. As discussed (and reiterated) with the associate, my linens needed to be delivered and installed at 4:00 sharp on my wedding day. Their installer didn't arrive until 4:45, which delayed ALL my other vendors from setting up - florist, dj, caterer, cake, etc. I also paid extra to have the chair sashes installed, thinking that Connie Duglin Linen would do the most professional job. Was I wrong! Many of them were crooked or placed too high on the chairs, so when my guests sat down they were close to falling off. This gave my banquet room a very sloppy appearance. My family could have done a better job installing these, and I can only think the poor job was a result of their installer running behind. Two of the linens on my presentation tables had oil stains, and there were creases running down each of my table linens. When my wedding coordinator inquired about steaming these, she was told it ?wasn't company policy.? The linens were picked up that night, but the napkins were forgotten. Further, Connie Duglin Linen did not provide us with a prepaid bag to return these (which IS supposed to be their company policy). Consequently on the way to the airport for my honeymoon, I had to arrange for my wedding coordinator to collect these and drop them off at Connie Duglin?s office. Most telling of all, however, is how they handled my complaint. When I contacted their office with the problems listed above, and copied Mr. Linen himself, my email was ignored. Connie Duglin Linen has made it apparent that they do not care about their customers? feedback and do not stand behind their services. Do yourself a huge favor and contact a linen company who cares about your event and your business! more

Good price and customer service 1/13/2010

My fiance and I had a great experience with this company. We thought that the person that helped us was very nice and knowledgeable. She worked with us to get what we wanted within our price range. I never knew there were so many options with linens. I would recommend this company to a friend. Pros: cost, selection more

This was the big item gone wrong at my wedding... 12/31/2009

I thought it would be creative to have different bow material for the two bridal party tables (we had a sweetheart table) to differentiate them from the rest of the guests, so I chose Eggplant organza bows for the two bridal party tables, and then EGGPLANT satin bows for the rest of the guests (108). Instead of sending 108 EGGPLANT satin bows, they sent 108 violet-colored bows. It is not so much that this happened, it was how they handled it. I found out the day before the wedding (Friday) right before rehearsal. They said it was the end of the day on Friday and the press people went home already and there was nothing they could do - like I was crazy to ask them to try to fix it by the next day. So, a customer service rep called back, said something about blue and red making purple and that is what I ordered. No, it was not the same color as the organza sashes that matched the wedding colors. We had the solution and we went with it to not use the 108 satin sashes that were the wrong color and just put the ivory chair covers on...it looked fine, but it was not what I wanted. I called back on the wedding morning as I found the photo in my phone with the color I wanted, and I went to the banquet room to have the comparison of the wrong color being sent. When I called back, the manager credited me for those sashes, when I really wanted a full refund as the room was not going to look like I wanted it. No one was very customer-service friendly towards me throughout the process and they NEVER admitted they sent the wrong color - they said maybe they were washed a few times -???. Upon return from the honeymoon, I sent them a message including the photo comparisons to see if they would give a bigger refund considering, and they thought crediting the sashes not used was enough. Uh, no, they can use those again so no loss to them and again, the room was not what I wanted. I have heard positive things about Connie Duglin, however my own experience has made me a bit cold towards them and I would not recommend them to anyone getting married. Again, yes, it happens, but it was almost like I was asking for the world, and all I wanted was a fair deal after it was too late to correct the situation. Sigh. I guess this being the big item gone wrong, it was not so bad...I just thought they were experts in this one area, and for them to send these two colors together makes me wonder. Unorganized, terrible customer service 6/11/2008

Connie Duglin was recommended to me by the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay where we held our wedding reception, consequently, I expected a high level of customer service from this business. When I came to pick up my order, no one informed me of when the order was due back and did not mention anything about possible charges in case rented items were damaged. I returned the order on the day listed on my invoice as ""return date"". When I asked the employee receiving my order to inspect the order and count the items in front of me- they refused, b/c they were ""on lunch break"" even though on the invoice the return time was clearly stated 9am to 4 pm and no lunch break was mentioned. Later, I got a phone call to inform me that my order was 1 day late and 10 items were damaged. Their explanation was that on the invoice the ""pick up date"" is actually when my order was due back and the ""return date"" is when it was suppose to be back in their warehouse???!!!! 3 days and 4 phone conversations later they still insist that my order was late and that I am responsible for the damaged items even though I believe nothing was damaged. Save yourself time, money, and headache ? go with a different vendor. Cons: customer service more
