We walked into the ""non smoking area"" which was empty when we arrived and soon after we sat down, we were unpleasantly entertained by an old loud mouth waiter ""tongue lashing"" another waiter for being late, to the point of which the other waiter was crying!...crying?...there's no crying in being a waiter!.....\r
Hmmm.....seems to me that if you want to discuss employee situations, please take it to the back room, outside or office,NOT in view of customers. Sorry Michael, dry your eyes, but you were late.\r
We ordered an extra large pizza and large antipasto to make sure we had plenty to take home.\r
The salad arrived and we both looked at each other and said, Are they cutting back?\r
Our waiter,Jason, was put off by our comment and said that they had the same salad maker for 10 years.\r
That may have been true, but for $10.00 , I expect a bit more, actually a lot more.\r
He took our sald bowl and arrived with it properly proportioned. Nice try,Jason, but you should have arrived with a fresh new bowl. That's only professional and expected in the food business, especially with all the problems of contamination. The pizza arrived and was terrible looking and tasted like cardboard. Our guess is it must of been either old or severly stretched beyond it's limits to the point of being unedible.\r
Our last visit, by the way ,was around Easter time which we were treated to a pleasant waitress and good pizza and ample salad. Obviously, you changed too much, possibly owners, and definetly the waitstaff. Your waiters need to keep their ""lifestyle""at home. No hugging guys,Last I checked, this is a ""family restaurant"", Ferndale or not.\r
In your haste to become the ""in spot"" in Ferndale, you are losing one very important part of a successful business and that is your old customers, old and young. In essence, REPEAT BUSINESS.\r
Sad to say,but WE WILL NOT BE BACK..\r
