Comfort First Heating And Cooling

We started with Networx in looking for a second opinion on a replacement for one of our heat pumps. Within minutes of submitting the job request, we had a call from Comfort First. The woman on the phone was extremely nice and professional, not pushy, just helpful. She scheduled a Project Manager to come out, at a time convenient for us, and assess our issue. Dave came on time, spent a long time assessing the heat load for the rooms involved, and then sat down with us to explain his recommendation. Dave was knowledgeable and patient, answered all of our questions. We agreed to move forward with the replacement of the unit. The woman in the install department called us back and we set up a convenient time for our install. That day, the two installers came on time and completed the install in several hours. I don't have the names of the two gentlemen who did the install, but both were professional, worked together to make everything right. They also answered my questions about the new unit. They both took care to be neat and to clean up after the install. They took the old unit with them, and all was great. We could not be happier with the service on all ends, from the woman on the phone, to Dave, to the installers. After the install, we spoke with Beth in the office to complete the required inspection and the paperwork. All worked seamlessly and professionally. We would definitely recommend Comfort First, no hesitations at all. more

The service person came out 2 times and did not check the condensate drain, Unfortunately, this part of the system is often overlooked during regular A/C maintenance. if it was checked I would not be charged twice. more

The service was very good, the tech came and assessed the problem and knew exactly what to do, but I had concerns that the unit needed service again for the same problem as the year before... low coolant levels which to me indicates a leak somewhere. Tech appeared in a hurry to answer my concerns, probably because he had another call to complete about 30 - 40 minutes away, before ending the day. Gave a quick explanation serviced the unit and was on his way. Unit has given any problems to-date. Higher cost of coolant was a concern even with AHS paying $10/lbs. but the cost the company charged was $60/lbs. which means I had was left paying $50/lbs which I think is a bit over the top when there are companies that price at $50 and $40/lbs. more

Scheduling was easy and accurate. Mike, the repairman was FANTASTIC! He spotted the problem immediately and quickly made the repair. He went above and beyond the call of duty! more

Going through American Home Shield it took 4 days before the service tech was scheduled to arrive and address our AC problem. He arrived on time as scheduled, was very nice and professional. He added freon and was done in 20 minutes. more

Technician was great. Found the problem quickly and fixed it quickly. Only improvement could have been in the timeliness of scheduling the appointment. We called the problem in on a Friday and they could not schedule a technician until Tuesday. more

A lighting storm hit my old units needed to replace them. Found Comfort First called set up a appointment and got them to put in two unit. Great service fast and got a good price. Now I have a contract with them to maintain my units. more

The first deal came with a discount on yearly service, a bulliton came out with a good price, but when you call you don't qualtife due to some hidden language, which you couldn't read with a magnifying glass, I talked to a lady and she said she was proud of that because she figured that out. Next comes the sales crew scam, my unit in my part of the house started working at different ways and different times, so I made the mistake of calling for help, or so I found out later,The tech found the compressor wasn't working and then He found the circuit board wasn't working right and the compressor was not the problem, then he gave me a price for the board, which sounded kinda high, so i decided to take the board and gamble,on that curing the problem, He wanted $550. for the board, I asked him what it would cost to replace the unit, and He they usually got $2500 to replace it, and I said no way, then here comes the scam, He has to go outside to talk to his boss, then came back in and said they could do it for $2300, I told him that was way to high, back out doors to talk to the boss, this time it was $1900. I had told him I'd give $14 or 15 and no more, he says he came down 400 why didn't I go up 400, I was worried out at this time and decided to pay 1900, but the he wanted the whole amount paid that day, so we did, not a usual practice with the Co I believe, There's much more but no more space. I just hope all the company is not like the one I'm speaking of. A scam to catch older people in a bad spot and robbing them, I know they sleep well a night, they lie all day,..MORE LATER more

This company has serviced our Home Warranty twice, and we've been satisfied both times... more

Service was quick and efficient on my air conditioner units. When service men arrived they determined what the problem was and a part had to be ordered which arrived sooner than expected. They set up an appointment to install and completed in the time frame indicated. Very satisfied with the work and workers. Real test will be this week when the temperature goes back up to the 80's. more

I was happy someone could come out quickly. I like being kept informed of arrival time. Once he got there he was efficient and professional and respectful of my time. Good job. more
