Went in with a friend who is experiencing hair loss due to illness. The lady working in the store was so helpful and kind to both of us. She took time to explain options and costs. She even offered to order styles that were not readily available. She made this experience very pleasant and non threatening. Very nice shop. more

I love this salon. My family and friends have been going to kas for years. They make you feel very welcome and have always provided me with great service. What makes this place even better is the staff seems to never change. So many salons have a rotating door for employees. i think this salon is really nice. the whole staff when i was there was so friendly and attentive. i'm thinking about extensions b/c when i was there i saw another client getting them and they looked great. also, it was nice to get such a thorough consultation and my hair came out just as we discussed. i would definitely recommend this salon. I was looking for a new place to have my hair cut and highlights. I found this salon on the internet. I read the reviews and everyone seemed to be happy. I decided to call and speak with the receptionist. I told her that I would like to schedule an appointment for a haircut and told her that price was important, but not the most important. I told her that I wanted someone very good. She said the person she put me with was the trainer in this salon. I said ok because you would assume that she would be the best. I went in for my haircut and she was a very good sales person. She said you should go ahead and do your highlights because it will make your cut flow. I said ok. After the color she said you really need to get a deep conditioning. I also agreed because I assumed she knew what she was talking about. When she got finished with me I was so upset because the haircut was horrible and I had worked so hard to get the layers grown out. The color was no where near what I had asked for. I paid $215.00 plus a $20.00 tip to get my hair destroyed. After my co-workers saw it and said it looked so bad I called and made an appointment to go back in to have it re-done by another person. When the person was re-cutting my hair she could not believe how uneven my hair was and even made the statement that some people complain for no reason, but I have no idea what she was trying to do when she cut your hair. She told me it was so gapped in the back that she could not get it to blend with this visit and I would need to come back for her to get it to blend. I called to go back to get it cut again and again when I returned she said I needed to do my highlights. I said ok. She did not even get my permission to do the deep conditioning. When she cut my hair she said it does not blend properly, but it looked better than before. She said it would probably take 1 more cut. I said ok. When I checked out I had another $200.00 charge. I asked her you mean I have to pay for this haircut even though this salon messed it up and she said yes. She said maybe I can give you a good conditioning next time. As of today my hair is still not cut proper, the color is faded and my hair is very greasy from all this conditioning they recommended. It has been just a few weeks and I am on my way back to the salon I went to before to get it redone to satisfaction and at a competitive price. I feel their service is very over priced and would never return or recommend them. more

I have been going to Lee for three years and have never had a problem. My hair tends to be difficult to tame and to cut. In the past, I have found that most stylists can not cut my hair the way I like it. I thought that I had a difficult haircut to do but Lee always seems to cut it with perfection! Not to mention, I always have my hair colored and she is always putting in the best color patterns. I receive compliments daily, and have been told that I have ""celebrity hair"". I recommend going to Lee for any cut or color, especially short hair. She is always looking out for me by suggesting treatments (my hair is curly, and I straighten it everyday, which causes a lot of damage) that makes my hair look as if it has never been touched with a blowdryer or a flat iron. I had my hair cut and highlighted with a new technique the stylist learned this past month by a Redken Artist that came to their salon.I love it! The highlights are placed so they fall well with my cut. It is so cool that they actually have classes in the salon and learn new things all the time. All the stylist seem to really work well with each other.I am very pleased with my stylist,Cindy, she took plenty of time with me. And I thought the front staff was very pleasant,they even offered to get me Starbucks! I will definitely be back.Thanks KAS. Pros: Very up to date with training Cons: no more

so this review should have been written weeks ago, but i haven't had time and had forgotten. the staff at kathy adams read my review and called me the very next day asking me to come in to try to resolve the situation. i explained to them what had happened and they were very, very friendly and did everything they could to make me happy. i was given a free cut to make up for the horrible one from before, and was also given a free certificate for my next visit. they worked hard for customer satisfaction, and i feel that i was treated very well and professionally. maybe cindy was just having an off day, which is understandable, and i will definitely be going back :) more

i visited this salon for a hair cut and was very satisfied. the hair cut was great and the staff was really nice and just all around very friendly. i can tell they get a lot of training which is a nice change. i will make this the place i go for my hair cut. more

My best experience at a salon. How refreshing to go to a salon where they take time with you. I had a great consultation, the service was great and they taught me what products to use and how to style my hair. Everyone was friendly. Great experience!!! more

I made a phone call to Kathy Adams to make my first appointment. The first time I wasn't prepared to make a deposit because my husband was at work with the credit card. Making a deposit was not a problem, but the girl on the phone had a problem and said there was no explanation for me not having a credit card. I told the very rude girl on the phone I would call back in the evening time once my husband was home from work. She said make sure you call before 5pm because I leave at 5pm. I called back around 3 the same girl answered the phone and she was short and huffy with me. She said I lost my chance to make an appointment and they were booked until after the holidays. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager. I am disappointed in how I was treated and have decided to find another hairdresser. more

I located KAS while shopping in the Mall of Georgia one afternoon. I walked in an was immediately greeted by the receptionist. I asked her if anyone had time to do a cut and I was able to get in right away. The stylist I was put with was AMAZING. We sat and had a consultation about my hair, my likes and dislikes about it. She reccomended a new style they had just learned a few weeks a ago in a class. She explained everything to me...from products she used down to styling my hair on my own. The Salon itself is gorgeous. I loved everything about it. All Stylists were so attentive to their clients. It was amazing. It really is the best haircut I have ever had. THANKS YOU KAS!!! Ladies and gentlemen, if you're looking for THE place to get your hair cut, you can stop reading right now, as you've found the right place. Before I met the lovely Amanda, my hair was a terrible shag mop that I had let accumulate without care during a several-weeks-long backpacking trip. Being the rugged American male that I am, I of course had no sense of style whatsoever-I simply called up the salon, asked for the next available appointment, and was assigned Amanda. Best phone call of my life! She didn't just cut my hair-she sculpted it into a work of art. I went from being frustrated and constantly self-conscious about my look to the point where I was receiving compliments DAILY on how much better I looked. Worth every penny. I just recently got my hair done at this salon and was very pleased. Even being in the mall, the salon feels separate and I particularly like the fact that it is close to a mall entrance so I can pop into the salon without tracking through the mall. I got color done and a cut. I felt that I was in good hands since everywhere I looked every stylist looked like they took pride in how they looked. This is always a good sign to me. I had seen their work in a magazine and made the appointment with the exact stylist who did the work in the magazine. I was very pleased with the results. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is nice to find a salon that is welcoming and that do great work. I will be back and would highly recommend this salon. i found these guys off city search and decided to give them a try too. I will say that my veiw of the salon staff look like they should be going out to stand on a corner . They are loud , gossiping , and that just is not professional at all . That is wonderful to have been chosen for an award , but the dress code is to extreme for a salon , some people may get the wrong idea. If you are going to have young people work in your salon make sure they are trained to not gossip in front of clients , wear revealing clothing , or talk about what they are going to do when ever they get off work. Ok, I guess after I write down my very honest review someone at Kathy Adams salon will come on here and reply to my review and try to, in their own words, justify their actions. Well, just like anyone on here I scoured the internet for more info about his hairsalon and after reading a couple I decided to give it a try. First of all when I called, the girl who answered was not very helpful in answering my questions and was not friendly at all. When I got to the salon, the same girl that had answered the phone was at the front desk, did not welcome me at all, but simply asked me for my name and appt, time. She was by no means friendly, warm, nor even happy to assist me. I sat down in the very tiny waiting area and was never greeted nor acknowledged. Another client also came in behind me and she was treated the same. I paid $63 for the haircut which was okay, nothing spectacular. If you are looking for a friendly, down-to-earth salon with reasonable prices, then I suggest you keep seaching because this place is definitely not it!
