I love this place. I've only been there twice but I've already found my favorite dish and drink; Jerk pork platter with a mojito. Soooo good. The prices are a little high, but I'd...

I don't know why people like this place. The food was average to mediocre. The waitress was rude and unattentive. This is a trendy place for people who want to look good, but don...

Good Food, Slow Service 4/6/2003

This place is not where you want to go if you're in a hurry. The food is good, the ambience is nice, but service is slow. If you're on a date, it won't matter, but don't try to make a performance event after dinner here. Pros: good value, good food, good ambience Cons: slow service more

Chilaquiles and Sangria, yum yum. 2/21/2003

Really delicious, imaginative colorful decor and the best chilaquiles ever. I've been here several times and have always felt like a princess, the service is impeccable. Polite waiters, what a concept! Cha Cha Cha is one of those places that work well for a big birthday bash or an intimate hungover brunch with two of your closest friends. I really love it! Pros: beautiful service, festive ambience, good drinks more

Cool place! 2/11/2003

Food was really good, especially the paella and mango chicken...jerk chicken claims to be a little dry. The wait was too long, and we had reservations too. The place was pretty small, so be prepared to be a little stuffy. But they have good sangrias! Pros: Food, Inexpensive, Ambiance Cons: Wait too long, Crowded, Small place more

Excellent restaurant! 2/6/2003

We have to agree with all of the positive reviews already written here! This place was fantastic, with friendly, efficient service, a great atmosphere, and tasty food. Everything we tried was excellent, especially the pineapple salsa found on the delicous plantain boat appetizer, the very spicy shrimp with black sauce, and the black beans which accompany most dishes. We can't wait to go back! Pros: food, service, atmosphere more

Reservations? What reservations? 12/18/2002

On a friend's advice, I called two weeks ahead to make sure I got a table in the ""good"" room for my husband's birthday dinner....no problems getting the reservation - the gentleman who took it was super nice! Only problem was...they took a reservation for a day they were closed, and didn't bother to call me and let me know...too bad, I had heard wonderful things about this place! I doubt they'll get a second chance... more

Cha-Cha-Ching! 11/21/2002

This restaurant is a jackpot find....it's jamaican fever packed inside a ramshackle building among busy streets. The staff was friendly and eager to please. Food was bursting with flavor and added to the romantic atmosphere the owners have created. It's not for the candles and crystal type diners, but for those who like a bit of flare and festive lighting with their food. Pros: ambiance, service, sangria Cons: valet parking only, no doggie bags, a bit expensive more

Cha Cha Charming 10/22/2002

Cha Cha Cha is so full of life and flavor. You could just go there for the atmosphere alone. The calamari is a great way to start your meal or try their ceviche which is in a coconut shell. Don't forget the Sangria, Yummy!! A must try is their shrimp Negro or shredded pork in their negro sauce which is spicy but you just can't get enough of it. I have had several parties there and all my friends have gone there many times since. Pros: colorful atmosphere, womderful food, great for parties Cons: not best area & parki, Limited bar drinks, loud more

Fun times 9/12/2002

Had a great time, and some pretty great salmon, with a huge group. Pitchers of sangria were awesome, and the homemade guacamole was good too. Perfect place to go with a loud bunch--nobody seemed to mind, and all of our almost-20 entrees came out looking and tasting good. more
