I love this place. I've only been there twice but I've already found my favorite dish and drink; Jerk pork platter with a mojito. Soooo good. The prices are a little high, but I'd...

Great place, great food 3/6/2005

I went here for the first time for a friends birthday. Everyone in our party came at least 1 hour late but the staff didn't seem to mind to much (it was still early for dinner so it wasn't too crowded). While waiting for the rest of our party we ordered a pitcher of Sangria. The Sangria was delicious. Probably the best Sangria I've had in a long time. The food was excellent. Their jerk pork platter was to die for. The price was affordable. We were also able to bring in our own cake without them charging any slicing fees. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant. Pros: large portions, fair prices, friendly staff more

Cool Times! 3/6/2005

Cha Cha Cha's was one of my first encounters with carribean cuisine and it didn't disappoint. So here's my recipe for a cool time: First get about 4 or 5 of your friends, Start with the house sangria, Have the jerk chicken or fish, add fried yucca or plantains, mix in some black beans and rice, and finish it off with another pitcher of that Sangria! Chill with friends about an hour and a half, enjoy cool time under hot tin roof! more

Amazing Service! 3/6/2005

We went on a Sunday evening and were seated immediately after arrival. The jovial staff answered all of our questions, joked around with us, and constantly checked on our group. While the food was great, what really sold this place was the service and the atmosphere, which is perfect for large groups. more

This place is much more than meets the eye. From the outside, it looks like a little tiki bar that would only serve drinks with umbrellas in them. But you get inside and the venue is much larger than it seems outside. The decor is great, very unique and sets the mood well. Great service and great food to match. The meals are a little pricey, but youre not getting ripped off cuz the quality is there. Definitely recommend Pros: great food, cool ambiance more

Great place to celebrate birthdays. We waited over 45 minutes for our table with a reservation but the atmosphere and the sangrias were worth the wait. Pros: sangrias, atmsophere Cons: , could be noisy more

Cha Cha Cha is warm, sparkling, run by lovely people, always loud and humming in the best way, a true neighborhood charmer, busy but accomodating, the best place for wonderful drinks and food (their plantains and mole sauce...oh, man), and a total favorite. You can take a date, your kids, your friends for a night of sangria and babble...just go go go. Pros: eats, people more

i don't agree that the service was poor. i was just there tonight with three friends and our service was fine. the waiter even did something special for us that was unexpected and appreciated. he was very nice. it was a saturday night and we made reservations and got in quickly. it would not be a place to go if you were in a big rush, but hey just go to fast food if you want in & out dining. we had a great experience. the calamari was excellent. i had a fusilli pasta that was great. they deserve more credit than the last review. Pros: food, atmosphere more

Food & Atmosphere Great, Service so-so 2/16/2004

Like others, I agree service may be lacking at this lively, Caribbean restaurant, but overall I have had good experiences here, and would return. Food-Excellent. Not typical menus from chain restaurants. I definitely recommend the Sangria. Order the agave if you like tequila. Try the guacamole, jerk chicken (spicy), and pasta w/ roma tomatoes/basil. Skip the peach flan, nothing special. Atmosphere and menu won me over. Great place for dates (lively environment, good Caribbean music, many candles/lights, plants, covered patio, or inside-both great, small & cozy, sexy/sultry feeling not overly romantic). Only drawback-service. Excellent my first visit. Not so good the next. Our server seemed to not know we were there. But other staff (hostess & previous server) did remember me, and all were helpful the first visit with directions and accommodating a reservation time change. Don't pass because of outside looks. (FYI- featured in the Fast and the Furious.) Pros: Food, Ambiance, Valet Parking more
