Avoid this office at all costs 2/22/2012

I had been going to this practice since my son was born. He had recurring ear infections in his first year so we were there every two to three weeks for several months either getting him checked or with a new ear infection. I had to fight the doctors to order tubes, but I chalked it up to them wanting to wait and see instead of jumping into surgery. I took matters into my own hands though and went to Children's Hospital who said that tubes were needed and so we had the tubes placed. I continued to go to Centennial Valley Peds mostly out of convenience now that my son was better. Their weekend hours and late nights are about the only great thing they have going for them. So a couple of months ago I took my son in for his well check. I had been concerned about my son's speech because of the family history of speech issues on both sides. I had explained the concern about speech to the doctor and she proceeded to tell me that speech delays are an early sign of autism and that she believed more

My children have been taken care of by Centennial Valley Pediatrics providers for over 11 years. They have always given excellent care and the staff are fantastic. I can always get a same day appointment and never have to wait for long to be seen.\r Every provider has provided me with up-to-date information and has helped guide us in the care for our children. They are forward thinking in prevention and health information. I have always recommended them to my friends. more

Very Friendly! 10/12/2010

My children have been going to CVP for years. We like all of the providers we have seen, we especially like the nurse practitioners. Everyone from the front office to the back office has been friendly and accomodating. We are very comfortable there and appreciate the knowledge base of the providers. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone wanting professional, knowledgable, friendly people caring for their children. more

My children have been going to this practice for 17 yrs!!! We have never had a bad experience. The providers as well as the staff have made us feel like family with their friendly smiles and "hellos". Even the silliest question or concern is always made important to them and comforting for me as a mom, so THANK YOU !!! more

I have been bringing my children to Centennial Valley Pediatrics since 2007 and I am very impressed with the entire staff. I always get seen at my scheduled appointment time and can always get my sick kid in on the same day. Everyone at the office is always very nice and patient and the providers take the time to answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend this practice to my friends. more

There is no better place id rather bring my kids 10/1/2010

My children are my world and have been since they were born 17 years ago. This is when family had referred us to Centennial Valley Pediatrics. I have two beautiful girls that i am very proud of but cant take all the credit. The Dr.s at CVP began working miracles when my daughter was 3 months old and wasn't sick but was showing stange syptoms. She ended up needing her gallbladder out ,the Drs sent us to TCH in Denver where my daughter was the youngest patient at TCH that had this kind if surgery ! Boy was that scary... No not with our wonderful Pediatricians . So that was our first journey since then there have worked through the normal colds, the ucky flu, asthma hospital stays, ADD, normal teenage girl stuff.. And through it all Centennial Valley Pediatrics have always pulled us through with their great front office greeters to the nurses and the triage angels when you just need advise!! THANK YOU for the life time of strength.I can only pray that they are around for my grandchildren to love them as much as my children do!!! more

Not very professional 11/10/2008

I moved here in Feb 2007 and brought my 4 children in for well checks. I hand delivered all their medical records before our vist. When we arrived for their well check they had lost two of the children's records. They told me it was my responsibility to get records from the old dr. (they can do it for free but refused to do it) For me to do it, it would cost me $25 a piece. In the past two years, I have never been able to see the same dr. twice. I liked several of the Drs. but they didn't know me or my children and had not read our charts. Every time I went in I had to explain my chronically ill child's medical history. One of the doctors I did talk to on more than one occasion seeemed very ill-informed and recommended a test at a lab that can only be performed when admitted to a hospital. I had to do the footwork to figure out how to get the test done with no help from the pediatricians office. I ended up having to get a specialist we see at Children's Hospital get it set up and they more

Deb, Lafayette 2/27/2008

I have been going to Centennial Valley Pediatrics for over 10 years. Both kids were born at Avista Hospital and were under the care of CVP doctors. We have never had a bad experience. Shots have always been handled very well. Neither of my children ever cried while receiving them. We have been able to show up at the scheduling desk and get an appointment right away whenever a child was picked up from school ill. The front office staff has always been courteous. Paper work was received when requested last minute. We have seen different doctors on different occasions and do not prefer one over the other. I believe Centennial Valley Pediatrics is a very good choice. more

Bad Experience 2/15/2008

My daughter had been a patient there for two years (2006-2007). Our last office visit was one of the worst experiences of my life and we left the practice after that. \r \r During the visit, the pediatrician was nice, but the nurse who was giving her immunization shots was awful. The nurse walked in without a shred of smile and was already clearly impatient even before we got started. She got someone to hold my daughter really tight and started - literally - throwing shots on her (one on each arms and legs). I requested several times beforehand for her to use shot-blockers, and she agreed to it, but she didn't use them. My daughter still couldn't get over the fact that the nurse lied to her. Throughout the whole process, the nurse didn't show a shred of empathy towards my daughter. Obviously she just wanted to get it over with. Some of the shots caused bleeding and the nurse applied band-aids but they were not put on tight enough. Blood was still trickling down. And the band-a more

Fast and friendly help 9/17/2007

We went in as first time patients when my daughter had what turned out to be an ear infection. They got us in the day we called. I arrived 15 min. early just in hopes of getting back home in time to pick up my other child from school. Not only did we get in on time, but early! They immediately gave me the paperwork and called me in before I even had time to fill it out. The nurse and doctor were both wonderful. I would highly recommend this practice. more

Nice Practice 5/9/2005

I'm relatively new to this practice, but I've been happy with the pediatricians so far! When my daughter was sick, they got me in immediately, which obviously sat well with me! The office staff is very nice, as are the nurses. PROS: Friendly doctors and staff. CONS: No sick child entrance. more
