I had a remote car starter installed exactly one year ago, and it recently hasn't been working properly. I tried calling for an appointment, but Caton Radio doesn't take appts due to their ""custom"" work.
I finally made time to drive 35 miles to Catonsville (on a Tuesday) and was told I would need to wait an hour to have my car looked at.
A friend picked me up and we killed a total of 3 hours. When I returned to Caton Radio, my car still had not been looked at, and I received a MAJOR attitude when I asked why. Custom work, no appts.... blah blah blah...
The moral of the story is, when I was ""purchasing"" the product, you couldn't have asked for a nicer company! When I came back with a problem, they were willing to let me sit in the waiting room for an 8 hour shift rather than ask the tech to take 10 minutes to diagnose the problem. THEN tell me I would have to wait longer or come back, etc... Communication SUCKED
I'm a very easy going person, and I've been to Caton Radio MANY times over the years, but.... I won't be going back.... it is what it is. They seem to have little concern for complaints when new $$ isn't involved. They've survived a terrible economy, and they should continue to survive, but it won't be due to me or any future referrals
