Not good for emergencies 7/1/2008

I have used CASA before for general maintainance on my home's AC unit, unfortunately when the condensor recently went out on my unit they said it would over a week to get out to my house and fix it. Yeah, like I'm going to wait a week to have my AC fixed in the middle of summer in Austin, TX. I found another company who had a technician out to my house with in hours to fix the problem. Needless to say I won't be going with CASA again. They just didn't seem to understand my situation and generally offered poor customer service. Had to involve management to get things done 6/4/2008

My 4 month old unit went out yesterday and since Casa installed it I called their afterhours number and was told that I'd have a tech here by "early afternoon" the next day. At 3 PM the next day I call the dispatcher whom I spoke with and get his voice mail. Call back an hour later and demanded to speak to someone, not voice mail. Sandy tells me that the ticket is for "no preference" and no one there can tell me when a tech will be available. Yea, I know it's hot and they're backed up but I've got a brand new defective unit that shouldn't have anything wrong with it. Demanded to talk to management and Joe Pringle resolved the issue. A big thanks to Joe but I shouldn't be given the run around and have to demand that someone in management get things done right. more

Casa Mechanical Service AC 8/27/2007

It's going to be 2 years since I moved into my new house. Since day one I have been having problems with both of my AC units. First of all the units were not even connected or wired correctly, after this was fixed the freon was leaking on both units, they added freon like 5 times, Finally they changed some sort of coil, but still Freon is still leaking on the Ac on the 1st floor and 2nd floor. Bad Experience with Casa Mechanical for A/C Work 8/21/2007

I've had the unfortunate experience of owning a house with an A/C system installed by Casa Mechanical. From day 1 of moving into the house, the A/C unit has not held it's freon charge, leaked condensed water, and worked hard to cool the house. Casa Mechanical would always come out, put more freon, patch the system, but never solved the underlying problem--a leaky A/C unit. Well, now the 2 year warranty is over, and the A/C evaporator needs to be replaced because of....drums please...."a leak!" Duh!!! No more Casa Mechanical for me. more

CASA MECHANICAL ... (My CONTACT is : Joe Pringle.) 4/3/2006

I use to own rental properties - and often do property resales.\r I have used Joe for many heating/ac & hot water heater replacements. I have found him, and therefore CASA, to be reasonable and reliable. I have always had prompt service when I need it. The service charges etc. are well within the margin charged by others. I PERSONALLY THINK YOU WILL NOT REGRET USING CASA. If you do -- Ask for Joe Pringle and tell him Sharon and Gary sent you. (No I do not get a kick back, I just want to let him know we are that satisfied with him and CASA.) God Bless.\r \r OK FOLKS - Once again CASA came through. we had A/C problems\r and called CASA ... Few tips over the phone and we saved the service call. I still rate them on a 1 - 10 a 20. Reliable - Honest - Responsible. If you have a bad experience ... CALL THE MANAGEMENT. Not at all professional 6/9/2005

We've had to deal with CASA for a rental house and a new construction house. Neither of the situations leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling about CASA. The work is sloppy. The workers show up late, if it all. In fact, 3 straight times, the worker never even showed to fix a problem they created in the first place. And they won't even consider doing things a different way to try and please the customer. Their way or the highway. PROS: None. CONS: Not responsive, poor quality, tardy and AWOL workers. more

Airconditioner on the fritz? 5/17/2005

If your airconditioner is on the fritz these are the people to call. The phone operators are very friendly and helpful giving you and accurate time when the service person will arive at your house. The service people are quick to identify the problem and then go to work fixing it. more
