Home Carpeting 5/7/2012

I must say I am 100% satisfied with everything from the looking at the various types of carpet to the installation. They had a wonderful sale going on which allowed me to purchase a 70 grade carpet---yikes thats great along with the best padding. They waited and waited for me to get ready with a remodel I was doing without calling and bugging me. Then they installed when I requested and did an awesome job. You can't even see the seam. It's like walking on clouds in our bedrooms! Love it! more

Excellent service and price. 4/28/2012

Just got a great deal on carpet and wood flooring from Carpet Den interiors, saved almost 45%. Traci McCormick was exremely knowledgable about all of the company's products and took great pains to ensure that the flooring we selected would be appropriate to our needs (two ""tweens"" and two dogs). So far VERY pleased wit hthe experience, will update after installation is complete. more

My one and only place for flooring! 4/19/2012

This past week I had Carpet Den come out for the second time to put install more hardwood flooring in our house. I had originally contacted them last fall to have an estimate done figuring they'd be out in a couple days. Nope! I spoke to Traci and by that afternoon she was out taking measurements of my rooms and came prepared with several different flooring samples of both hardwood and carpet. Of course I contacted a couple other places for estimates but quickly realized they were lacking in customer service (one place said they didn't have anyone who could help me at the moment as I watched a couple employees walked out the door to go next door for lunch). Everything just ""felt right"" at Carpet Den and when I finally got the estimate I knew they were the right choice for us. Great selection, great staff (sales & installers) and great prices. What more could you want?? You don't have to start here but you certainly won't have to look any further! more

Pleasantly surprised! 4/5/2012

I was expecting Carpet Den to be very expensive because they are in Franklin and because their showroom is so nice. I have to say I was really surprised when I had the sales lady come to my house and give me an estimate. I had a couple of other places out to give me quote (including Empire which was OUTRAGEOUS), and when all was said and done I was pleased to see that Carpet Den was very reasonable and offered a lot more choices. The sales lady was very knowledgeable and also really helpful when it came to picking colors. The installers were very nice and did a super job. They cleaned up after themselves and the job went without a hitch. Definitely give Carpet Den a call. more

Stress Free and Very Affordable 2/11/2012

I went to Carpet Den with my husband and 3 kids on a Saturday. I was immediately over whelmed when I walked in the door. However, someone from the sales staff came up to me and asked me questions about what i was looking for. She immediately made me feel better about the shopping experience. She asked me all the proper questions and was able to qualify me and show me carpet that was going to work best in my home. She showed me a Stainmaster carpet, that has no exclusions, it was like a dream come true. I couldn't believe that there was a carpet out there that had no exclusions. The price was cheaper then anyone in town and the installation crew did a fantastic job. I would recommend Carpet Den for anyone who needs carpet! more

Best pricing & service 2/9/2012

After several trips to Home Depot looking for carpet for my new home, I decided to check out Carpet Den. I figured their pricing would be too expensive and unaffordable. As I was looking through various samples, Traci McCormick offered her assistance. I explained I wanted a nice grade carpet- one that could still look even once it's weathered by kids, pets & natural wear and tear. Traci came over to my home a few days later to help my husband & I decide one what would be a good fit and work with our budget. I appreciated her desire to help us find the perfect fit and she never once tried to oversell us on anything- so refreshing! I highly recommend Carpet Den! Ask for Traci. more

Response to Review 1/18/2012

Thank you for a way to respond to Totally Unacceptable. Mrs. Fisher upon reading your review, I did look into you experience with Carpet Den Interiors as you stated. Steven Cannon was your Sales Rep and has worked in the flooring business for over 15 years, this includes hardwood, tile, carpet, vinyl, etc. As you know you were out of town and Steven made every effort to select for you the best product to fit your request and mailed those samples to you. The carpeting that you paid for had a total of $2525.89 for your 1400 square feet. The cuts you refer to are required due to the many angles in your home, the stairs you reference had been previously installed with a waterfall look and per your request we replaced with the new carpet, and when you did express a problem with a seam issue on the stairs we came back out quickly and fixed the issue. At the time of final completion you were happy and satisfied. If you need any further assistance please feel free to contact Steven at anytime 615-771-0128. At Carpet Den Interiors we strive to give our community the best choice for their flooring needs and will continue to do so, we have been in business for over 34 years serving the Middle Tennessee area as its number one retail and builder flooring destination. more

Totally unacceptable 7/15/2011

Carpet Den was recommended to me by my realtor when I bought my house in October 2007. I paid what I considered a fortune (over 4K) for carpeting the upstairs in my house (approx 1400sf) because I wanted ""good quality"" ... the guy who did the measurements was apparently from their tile group and didn't measure properly so they had to make a lot of cuts and now less than four years later we've ripped the last of the carpet off the back stairs. From day one, the seams were badly done and would pull up when vacuuming. The carpet stained easily and the stair installation was ""waterfalled"" per their suggestion which just looks cheap. The worst part is that I just got a bid on putting hardwood floors throughout the upstairs and it came in at less than this crappy carpeting! Lesson 1: do what you really want the first time. Lesson 2: Avoid Carpet Den more

Very Satisfied 2/10/2011

Carpet Den was recommended to me by a neighbor so I thought I would give it a try. The lady who helped me had great product knowledge to share. As many of you know, picking out your flooring can be a very overwhelming process. She was very kind and helped me narrow down my choices. She offered to come out to my house the very same day free of charge to measure. We were originally going to just do our Master bath, but ended up doing the whole home bc the prices were so good! In the mean time I was shopping around for better pricing. No one could touch Carpet Den's prices or their customer service. I was very impressed to find that the day of the installation the lady who I had been working with came out to my home to make sure everything was going as planned. She even followed up later that week to make sure that I was satisfied. If you are in the Nashville area I would highly recommend Carpet Den. They are locally owned, lets stop shopping at these big box stores and give our family owned business's a little more credit! more

I am underwhelmed 8/19/2010

My husband and I have worked with Carpet Den three times in the past 3 years. We have had a stair runner installed, had a room re-carpeted and ordered a lovely rug from them. My experiences with those purchases were okay, but I would not rate their service as great. \r Then, in the past couple of months I have called them to order a rug pad (promised a call back with price~ never got one) called again about pad, no response. Then, I called to order another rug from them and received no response. \r As the mother of small children I prefer to do things over the phone if possible. If I were not a repeat customer (which they are aware of because they ask my name and pull up my file every time I call) I could understand the lack of interest a little more. I called another local carpet store who helped me and in turn got my business! I will not be calling Carpet Den Interiors any more. more

Great Disappointment 6/18/2009

Carpet Den came highly recommended for carpeting my entire house on Bradford Ave, except kitchen and bath. The grade carpet I wanted was more expensive than comparable at Home Depot, but that was not the worst of it. Either the carpet quality or the installation or both caused ""ripples"" - high places in the carpet that appeared within weeks (days in a few places). I went back to Carpet Den at least three times to get this fixed and was given excuses - that the ""small ridges would settle down over time"", or that the ""furniture would flatten it out"". I finally said that they needed to come fix this, and I was flatly told that they would not. This was most disturbing. I kept hoping the ripples would flatten over time and that furniture would help this. It did not. I bought the carpet in Spring 2002 and this week (June 2009) it was removed because it was just so awful. I will never forget being also irritated by the restrictions attached to the carpet warranty. I did not even know there would be warranty restrictions until AFTER the installation. The carpet and installation was supposed to have been good for 20+ years, but only ""IF"" I vacuumed it with a strong brushing vacuum every week (no problem), used a variety of sophisticated cleaning agents for any spots and spills (some were foreign to me), and had all the carpet in the house professionally cleaned every 12 months. It was not enough that I had my own Bissell carpet steam cleaner for this kind of maintenance. Needless to say, the warranty was worthless and Carpet Den did not stand behind its work or product. If Carpet Den would like for me to retract this statement, I would be happy to have them call me to come fix their carpet in the two bedrooms (mostly unused spaces) where their carpet remains. But the clock is ticking on this offer... Call me. Pros: None yet Cons: Just altogether BAD more

Wonderful Quality and Prices! 5/15/2009

I visited Carpet Den not to long ago and they had great prices! When you walk in you expect the prices to be really expensive, just bc the look and feel of the store looks expensive. But everything was priced just as I had imagined. Someone came to the front and was quick to help me around the store. I highly reccomend! Pros: Helpful sales team and Quick to Install and Measure more

Much better than Lowe's or Home Depot 10/23/2008

I recently went to Carpet Den Interiors for a special sale they were having, and in today's economy I felt like they had equal pricing to both Lowe's and Home Depot. Also someone actually helped me in the Lowe's we were there for 30 minutes or more before anyone came over. Carpet Den also has a better quality product I know I want have to replace in 5 years. I will defintely recommend them. Pros: quality and price more

STUPID EXPENSIVE for AVERAGE MATERIALS 3/21/2008

Carpet Den is ridiculously expensive for mass market contractor grade materials. Have you ever had a family member get absolutely blown out by a used car dealer. Well, then you've got an idea who these people are. I'm just sick to my stomach after hearing what one of my siblings was charged for a very standard 3/8"" hardwood flooring project. Try $13K for 1,300 square feet. OK, call it double over typical retail. Wish I could give them ZERO stars. more

Stay away if you can't stand stuck up sales people with a higher than mighy attitude 1/25/2008

I hate it when someone is artificially nice. My helper was Rachel, who was so artifically nice that I wanted to gag. She wasn't particularly knowledgeable, and tried to fudge her way through the selection process. I would have preferred her to be honest with me, and just tell me that she would find out, but alas no such thing. Her quote was over the top high, she wasn't negotiable in her pricing and got rather offended when I didn't want her selection.\r \r I got a much better deal, installation and all at Home Depot. And the salesperson didn't have a hissy fit. Pros: Lovely to visit Cons: Stuck up sales representative Rachel with attitude more

Best Customer Service, amazing selection 2/21/2007

I love that one person helps you through the process, and the selection was amazing, I had no idea they had so many types of flooring. I would recommend them to everyone. more
