Carpet Den was recommended to me by my realtor when I bought my house in October 2007. I paid what I considered a fortune (over 4K) for carpeting the upstairs in my house (approx 1400sf) because I wanted ""good quality"" ... the guy who did the measurements was apparently from their tile group and didn't measure properly so they had to make a lot of cuts and now less than four years later we've ripped the last of the carpet off the back stairs. From day one, the seams were badly done and would pull up when vacuuming. The carpet stained easily and the stair installation was ""waterfalled"" per their suggestion which just looks cheap.
The worst part is that I just got a bid on putting hardwood floors throughout the upstairs and it came in at less than this crappy carpeting! Lesson 1: do what you really want the first time. Lesson 2: Avoid Carpet Den
