I come here all the time for the $12.95 oil change, on all of my vehicles, even non-Dodge / Chrylser / Jeep vehicles. The service is timely and freindly, and they wash my car if I leave it there all day. I have purchased 3 vehicles from there and I have recieved the best deal in town. I come here all the time for the $12.95 oil change, on all of my vehicles, even non-Dodge / Chrylser / Jeep vehicles. The service is timely and freindly, and they wash my car if I leave it there all day. I have purchased 3 vehicles from there and I have recieved the best deal in town. My last Durango was 1500 cheaper than the other local dealers I found from Autotrader and calling two other dealers. I even got a warranty contract maximun carepackage that covers everything. It was an couple bucks a month! Pros: Great Prices, Courteous Atmosphere Cons: NONE more

Would buy again from Carl's 5/30/2009

My husband researched Dodge Duallys for 2 Months - 2 different rear ends. We called and went to every Dodge dealer in San Diego County. He test drove the same truck several times. Yes, he was asked to buy, they are in sales. When we went in to buy, everyone was very interested in what they could do for us. The salesman insisted I drive the truck to make sure it was what I wanted too. (Smart Man). They made the deal we wanted. Since, my husband has been in for regular service and they have been very accomidating. I would definitely buy another vehicle from Carl's. We have had no problems with this truck. Pros: Great Truck - no problems with 60K Cons: too many times back and forth more

Carl Burger Collision Center 3/22/2009

When I first entered the collision center the employees were in no hurry to assist me. I felt like I was bothering them. I left my vehicle since my insurance company recomended them. The next week I called for a update on my vehicle. The employee who answered seemed irritated that I was calling. After another week I went into the office to check on the status of my vehicle. This time the employee's were openly rude. An employee who identified himself as the manager stated ""I told you how long it will take, why can't you get this through you head"" ? I don't take comments too personal so I accepted his insincere apology. Pros: No problems with vehicle after repaired. Cons: Customer service, repair time and high cost. more

Downright lousy! 8/14/2008

Lots of pressure, guilt trips and (the thing they do best!!) belittling you when you say no to a deal they make. Seriously. I heard "I came in today JUST for you, this is my day off" like 5 times. I also heard "I just got off the phone with a guy who saw this car on the internet and is going to come in and test drive it tomorrow morning!" - WOW... REally? What a coincidence, out of all 286 cars on your lot? They must have come back at us with 100 different ways to pay exactly the same amount for the car when we asked them to work on the PRICE of the car, not the term! Beware of this younger fellow named "JJ" who obviously never had a parent teach him manners, nor a boss who paid attention to his unprofessional interaction with customers. I'm sorry, but if I come in and give you a chance to get my business, the LAST thing you should do is be sarcastic and LAUGH at me when I turn you down on your offer. Treating every customer like they are an imbecile for not signing papers the instant you throw some numbers on the table will NOT get you business. Then to walk through the showroom shaking your head and laughing like "you just SHOWED US who's boss". Tool central. And to top that off... management doesnt even care that their employees are behaving this way. The manager sounded very concerned when we told him how the guy acted with us and said he was going to write him up (like I care how he reprimands his employees?) and then we see them a few minutes later laughing and doin the ol "soft-punch in the arm" thing that guys do. No apology, from anyone. Not even a courtesy one from management apologizing on behalf of him. We walked off the lot without a goodbye. Take your business to someone who will APPRECIATE IT, hey and maybe even offer you a water or something while you wait!!! more

I purchased my nitro august 2007. We did all the paperwork and was satisfied with the purchase. I had personalized license plates on my trade in that needed to be transferred to the new car. Next day of the purchase I was contacted by the finance dept. Jeremy O'brien, saying he forgot to charge me for the transfer. I went in and delivered the money to the finance department because O'brien was busy with some customers. He never called me again, so I assumed everything was taken care of. A month later I placed my old plated in my new car. Six months later I receive a new set of plates and the registration card for my new vehicle. I thought this was a mistake. So I went to the DMV and found out that they never did the transfer, and that I was lucky that they hadn't assigned my plates to somebody else.I had to pay a fee ($35) again to transfer the plates. I was very upset and called Carl Burger Dodge and spoke with O'brien, and he promised to call me back when he found out what went wrong. Three months later, I'm still waiting for that call. I know he got fired because he had done this to other customers. I have tried talking to the finance manager several times and left messages even with his secretary with no answer. The only person I can get a hold of is the sales agent, but he has not been able to help me either. What kind of business gives a customer the go around for $62,00 when I purchased a $29,000 vehicle from them. Honestly, I am very disappointed and I will give them bad reviews. more
