Capello Salon in Williamsville is the best place to get everything a woman should need! The staff is always outgoing and my stylist **Paulette** seems like she is always willing to go the extra mile in making my hair exactly how I want it. I have been a customer of Capello's since the 1990's. I love the quality service and attentive staff. The colorists are amazing. Someone is always complimenting me on my hair! I don't like boring; I like a stylist with fresh ideas about cut and color. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for such a great salon. more

When you put yourself in the hands of true professionals you will never be disappointed. My Senior stylist is Kelly Weipert and my esthetician is Nickole Von Ohlen. Treat Your Hair, and Yourself 4/28/2011

I feel like "Norm" where everybody knows your name when I get my hair cut at Capello's. It's my pampering time. Just a haircut you say? I'd go in every morning if I could just for the wash and head massage! Then I put myself in Dan's capable hands. He does with my hair what he will... and I'm never disappointed. The entire staff is friendly and more than willing to help. Their hair and beauty products are, for me, like a kid in a candy store. No products are ever pushed, but if you have questions about anything, they'll direct you to the product(s) that meet your needs. I guess this is a fan letter to my favorite Salon. The spa is another wonderful experience. Let me tell you about that next time! more

I love going to Capello's. I have had everything done there from massages, nails, hair, facial etc.. I love going to relax. They treat you like royalty. They are very professional and do a great job! I also like using the products they sell. I would highly reccomend going here. more

My sister brought me into Capellos a few years ago and the first time I met Joanne she knew exactly what to do with my hair!! She is fantastic! My sisters and I just love her... Everytime I walk out of there I feel so great and refreshed! Everyone is very upbeat and friendly! I live quite a distance away from capellos but always look forward to my next visit with Joanne!! worth every penny:) more

Im shocked at some of the comments on here. I personally have the greatest experiences when im getting my hair done. Depending on what my schedule is like, ill go to the Down Town location for Mitch or the Williamsville location for Dan. Both of my boys take care of me and i always feel beautiful when i leave... I have been going to Capello for many years. My stylist, Shawn, has consistently given me excellent treatment. He is friendly & attentive & my cut & color is always excellent. I have always had positive experiences w/ other stylists if he is unavailable. I have also gone to Josh for an incredible massage. I have always found the staff to be extremely courteous & professional. more

Disrespectful and unprofessional 3/10/2011

I had been going to Capello for several years. I loved my stylist, and I even visited and continued to have my hair done at Capello after I moved away! However, when my sister and her wedding party chose to have their hair done at Capello, the treatment was terrible. My stylist switched me to someone else without even a phone call to tell me. Thankfully, the woman who did my hair was fantastic, and I did feel beautiful afterward. Apparently, my usual stylist was angry that my sister had not chosen her as her bridal stylist, and she decided to use this unprofessional manner to teach us a lesson. Moreover, another stylist actually told my sister she was "weird" because she did not choose my stylist to do her updo. Can you say petty and immature? The truth was, my sister did not care for my stylist's work. Everyone has their own taste. Finally, when we explained to the owner how badly we had been treated, on what should have been the happiest day of my sister's life, he dismissed us and our concerns, immediately. We had to chase him all over the salon for a good 20 minutes before he would even speak to us to begin with. I understand he runs a hectic business, but rudely ignoring (or fearfully avoiding...) your customers after your employees have treated them like second-class citizens is not wise. I guess the moral of the story is, you may leave Capello with a nice cut (for a heafty price), but you better be sure to stroke their sensitive ego. more

Loved My Hair 10/21/2010

I just had ANOTHER great haircut at Capello's. I called this morning to make an appointment with my stylist who has many clients and is heavily booked. She had a cancellation for this afternoon! YAY! Thanks to the receptionist who took the time to help me! Two minutes after I checked in for my appointment my stylist was ready for me. No wait! Seriously, the staff is great. The cut is great. An overall great experience. more

Jersey girl not impressed. 9/30/2010

I recently moved here from NJ and was recommended Capello's by my builder. Horrible experience from the beginning. I waited over a half hour for my stylist and when he did come up front he proceeded to chat with the receptionist for another 5-10 minutes as if I wasn't even there waiting! NO apology either! Here comes the best part.... he tells me he doesn't have time to do color and cut or I can have both but have to leave with a wet head! Not making this up!! I was shocked as I was ON TIME. I had to have my hair dried as I was going somewhere afterwards. He rushed through everything and I paid a small fortune. Made me feel like he was doing me a favor or something. Terrible service. I should have said something but was in shock. I now go to Jackie at Salon Concepts, so much cheaper and she is wonderful!! Can't believe this place is still in business. more

Made me cry day before wedding! 8/26/2010

I researched spas around the area to take my bridal party to get all of our nails done the day before my wedding and finally decided that Capello sounded good... I called and booked an appointment a little over a week in advance for 6 of us and was told I would be sent a contract after I gave them my credit card number to hold my appointment. The day of the appointment, I called a few hours before to make sure we were all set because I never received a contract. After the woman on the phone fumbled around for a minute, she told me that they had booked my appointment for the following day, MY WEDDING DAY, and that it wasn't their fault because we didn't have a contract. I was VERY upset and told her she needed to fix it, as my girls were already on their way in from Rochester, over an hour away. She said "let me call our other locations," and as I asked her if she needed my phone number, she hung up on me. She called back 20 minutes later to say, "Well, all 3 of our locations are booked solid, but we can get you in tomorrow at 1 still." "No, my wedding is tomorrow. What am I supposed to do TODAY?" "The best I can offer you is a gift certificate for the next time you book a party with us." No, I will NEVER book ANYTHING with them again because of the mess they created for me a few hours before my wedding rehearsal and a day before my wedding. It was unnecessary stress, and now I want to make sure all of you know NOT to go to Capello... AWFUL AWFUL EXPERIENCE! more

I've been going to Capello for a number of years and have yet to be disappointed. The salon is clean and upbeat, with hair stylists and colorists that are professional and well trained - offering cutting edge styles & willing to listen to what you want. By contrast, the spa is relaxing and subdued. The perfect place to spend time on yourself. You could probably find places which wll cost you a bit less, but believe me, it's worth spending a little more to have the best. Pros: Friendly, Professional & Up to Date more

ive been going to capellos my entire life and love it! the best stylists are Marina, kelly, and nathan. they have great recommendations for your hair, and there cuts are soooo goood!!!!!!! you have to know when to get there, and typically you should arrive at the exact time of your appt that way you only have to wait 5 minutes before they take you. this is a grrrrrrreeat salon! Unprofessional, inexperienced stylists 10/7/2009

I decided to try Capello based on fairly good reviews, however I have been EXTREMELY dissatisfied on the two occasions I've been and will never return. Both occasions I've been there I've had to wait at least 20 min. past the scheduled appt. time. My first experience was very rushed because my hair stylist was double booked and decided to complain about it the entire time she did my hair. I decided to give it a second chance and shame on me. I got my hair dyed and although I'm happy with the color, I'm not so happy with it being all over my face and neck. When I was getting washed out, I got squirted in the face 3 times by the incompetent girl who didn't even remotely get the dye out of my hair. After going for a second wash out (which was a shot of water to the back of my neck) they still didn't get the dye out. I then had to sit through a blow out with a girl who seemed like she didn't have a clue what she was doing, while watching the other hair stylists oogle over themselves in the mirror. Hands down, the most unprofessional, dissatisfying service I have ever experienced. I would rather go to Supercuts. more

Horrible and Inexperienced Management 9/3/2009

recently had my hair colored by a stylist and was extremely dissatisfied with the outcome. I had gone to this salon for over a year but always had a single process color which anyone can do from a box. I had wanted to lighten my hair and maybe add highlights and figure a salon of this caliber could handle that. I walked out with orange hair, a burned scalp and hair dye on my forehead. I called the next day and was offered a re do but was scheduled by the receptionist with the same stylist. Needless to say, I left again with orange hair. I tried giving it a few days to tone down, and when that didn't happen I called and asked for a refund rather than a third redo for fear my hair would fall out. Right from the get go the manager made it out to be my problem not hers. She told me I shouldn't have gone back to the same stylist ( the receptionist placed me with her I DID NOT request her), and that unless the necessary paper work was previously filled out there was nothing they could do because it would be " too complicated" to give me a refund. The manager obviously doesn't care about the client's satisfaction and has horrible public relations because I always had to call her, and eventually she wouldn't even answer when I called. When I finally reached her she then said she couldn't offer a refund because they couldn't prove something went wrong and compared it to "eating food and getting sick but not knowing what food caused it" completely oblivious to the fact it was a horrible service done twice, which any other business would refund including a restaurant.Obviously Sam isn't professional, nor is she capable of handling business when things go wrong, so if you go here and they completely ruin your hair, good luck with getting any sort of reimbursement back . The best I can say is go somewhere else where the manager can handle business professionally and efficiently, or else have a 200 dollar regret like I do. Terrible Hair, Very Expensive! 8/10/2009

I went to Capello's with high expectations and was very disappointed. The stylist came highly recommended, but did a very poor job on my hair. The cut was o.k., but the color was terrible. I have light brown hair with highlights and wanted to go a little lighter. The color came out reddish and brassy, and there were visible demarcation lines from the foils. The stylist seemed to have used 3 different colors with no rhyme or reason. He also was working on 3 clients at once and it took almost 4 hours. Additionally, he seemed more interested in discussing his personal life and partying with the stylist next to him. I paid $170 and felt ripped off. I went to an inexpensive salon and had them "fix" it. Pros: Could not find any. Cons: Crowded, cramped atmosphere...not very relaxing. more
