Cal Air Cooling and Heating

My upstairs unit was making a noise but was working fine so I put off calling for service. Came home from having surgery and of all days, the unit stopped working and was blowing warm air. I called Cal Air hoping they could get to me before the end of the week. I called at 8pm and they offered to send a technician out that evening (I assume for a higher fee since it was outside business hours) or in the morning between 8am and 10am. I received an email before my appointment time with my technician's name, photo and bio and Richard called shortly after 8am to let me know he was on his way. Richard was very nice and knowledgeable- and very patient with me while I hobbled around. He could've told me I needed thousands of dollars worth of work done and I would've paid it because it's summer in Las Vegas Vegas I was home recovering and needed AC. Instead he diagnosed the minor problem, had it fixed within a half hour and checked the other unit just in case it needed service too. I was so relieved that he had it fixed so quickly and for about $330 which was way less than I thought it would be. I also liked that I received a photo of who would be coming to my home. Will definitely use Cal Air to maintain and service my air conditioners from now on. more

Even though it was 103 degrees outside, Fernando and Alberto were on my roof in the afternoon and installed a new AC unit. How they withstood the head is beyond me. Excellent job and many thanks from us. Great job CalAir. more

I couldn't be happier with Cal Air. To start, they answered the phone quickly. I spoke with Alexis, who was exceptionally helpful. My 30+ year old a/c was completely out in 114 degree Las Vegas heat, and I had expected to have to wait several days for an available appointment. Alexis booked it that afternoon - and I didn't even have to ask! The tech, Richard H., arrived on time and was polite, friendly, clean, and professional. He immediately found the problem, which a competitor had missed just a few weeks ago. I had wanted a new thermostat for years, but never took the time to get one. Richard got me a very nice, digital, programmable thermostat, and installed it in a matter of minutes. Problems solved! I'm happy, my dog is happy, Richard's happy, and I'm sure Cal Air is happy! I just couldn't ask for better service!!! more

Was floating in my pool Sunday afternoon listening to the radio, trying to keep cool because my AC was not working for well over 24 hours by this time and my home warranty company wouldn't be able to come out until Monday. It was 94 ° inside my house. Heard the Cal Air radio commercial and decided to call because it seemed my home warranty was giving me the run-around. The Cal Air lady on the phone was polite and knowledgable, she had a technican call me within 20 minutes to tell me he was on his way. He was polite, knowledgable, answered all my questions and had my AC up and running within minutes. The price was extremely reasonable considering the short notice and on a Sunday. What a professional outfit!!! Thank you. more
