My upstairs unit was making a noise but was working fine so I put off calling for service. Came home from having surgery and of all days, the unit stopped working and was blowing warm air. I called Cal Air hoping they could get to me before the end of the week. I called at 8pm and they offered to send a technician out that evening (I assume for a higher fee since it was outside business hours) or in the morning between 8am and 10am. I received an email before my appointment time with my technician's name, photo and bio and Richard called shortly after 8am to let me know he was on his way. Richard was very nice and knowledgeable- and very patient with me while I hobbled around. He could've told me I needed thousands of dollars worth of work done and I would've paid it because it's summer in Las Vegas Vegas I was home recovering and needed AC. Instead he diagnosed the minor problem, had it fixed within a half hour and checked the other unit just in case it needed service too. I was so relieved that he had it fixed so quickly and for about $330 which was way less than I thought it would be. I also liked that I received a photo of who would be coming to my home. Will definitely use Cal Air to maintain and service my air conditioners from now on.
