I used CSI Mini Storage in Alameda. Overall it was good, sometimes there was a bit of confusion about the price but other than that it was decent. more

CSI gave us the storage place. It was painless, we had no problems with them. We signed up and they gave us the keys. We were able to move from one size unit to another with no problems. more

Csi Mini Storage is very cooperative. I was just looking for something on a short term basis and I was not expecting to get the move-in discount, but they gave it to me anyways. I have used them twice and they are wonderful and accommodating to my needs. I would recommend them to anybody. more

My experience with CSI was good. Jericho, the guy in the office is real good. I like that guy a lot. I took my stuff out because I didn't need it in storage any more, I ended up donating most of it. I'd go back to CSI I just don't have anything I need to store right now. more

I would say the value is good. The move in was extremely easy because of the service they had. They came to pick up our stuff for the move-in. For the move-out, things were a little harder because there was no one really to assist us. The only complicated part was having to organize ourselves to move out. That made it a little hard, but we made it, so I have no particular negative experience. It was easy. more

Csi Mini Storage gave me a truck and a couple of guys to help move in, which was really helpful since I couldn't have done it without them. I had a lot of stuff but the movers and their bosses made sure that all my stuff was moved before anyone went home, even though that kept them after hours. It was really great. more

We live in San Diego and my daughter goes to school in Berkeley, we used CSI Mini Storage to store some of the furniture while she is back for the summer. They came with two people and helped a lot. The guy I dealt with was very helpful, courteous and understanding. more

Harvey was great. He did a lot for me and really helped out. My unit at CSI Mini Storage was a good space, but as far as value goes, you know, it was not ventilated, which made for incredibly hot storage. They always say it's important to store in a cool, dry area, so that was a bit of a concern. I didn't keep anything in there that was very valuable except some rare woods, which got a little dried out, but that's fine. Also, I was not there for the whole duration of a my rate, and the process of getting a reimbursement check was a little bit of a hassle. But again, Harvey was on top of it and looked into everything for me, so we're all good at this point. The facilities were clean and seemed really secure. I had no doubts about storing stuff there, and they served me well. I brought a trailer by, and they made it easy for me. more

My husband has cancer and we lost our home,so we needed a storage space for 16 years worth of stuff. A neighbor recommended Container Storage in Richmond. We rented a 48' container and filled it up! After several months without income we got behind in the rent. Container Storage worked with us and after a year we were able to pay off the balance and we are moving our things from storage into a new home. Any other storage company will sell your stuff if you get 1-2 months behind. Hello "storage wars" good bye to all the things worth saving, the photos, Christmas ornaments, and family keepsakes. I can't say enough about this company and the staff, they are really terrific! The containers are clean, dry and critter free. I absolutely recommend them to anyone. They have alot of different storage solutions and is one of the few places that can store your car. I wouldn't go anywhere else for storage. more

I sent in an email request on January 1st and got a response that day. I needed to move all my stuff on January 2nd and they came over and did it on that day. They are professional and attentive people. This was the second time I used them. The service was great and at a good price that has not gone up in years. The facility is very secure, dry, and the choice of different size containers was great. They are close and easily accessible from the highway. They gave me the standard offer for anybody new who wants to use them. They sent a large truck over with two guys who loaded all my things and then unloaded it into the unit, for free. All they needed in return was a two month rent commitment. more

I had no electricity in one of my containers. When I contacted CSI about it they told me I would have to meet an electrician to have it checked out. It was found that the vents were taped up and thus some mold had formed. I am not sure how the vents got taped but that should have been checked when I first rented the container. They did come out and resolved the issue. Other than that I thought it was a good value and most of the people were very pleasant. more

I started renting at CSI Mini Storage early on, like in 1996. I just ended my stay there due to health issues, but I dealt with them for a long time, and they are very nice people. I used to work right down the street from them, and had a little hobby shop there for my car. I started out in a container, and then moved to a shop area. The rates at CSI are really good, way cheaper than everybody else. Still, you don't sacrifice anything for the deal you get. I never had a break-in or anything go missing in the 15 years I was there. I've seen them check all the locks--and that's a lot of locks--and they also patrol around in a little cart. They also do a good job keeping out the riffraff. It's a father/son business, and they keep the place clean and in good working order. If you drive by you will see that it's well-kept. If something does need fixing, you can let them know and they will get to it right away. It's really a nice place. They have on-site restrooms and running water. They even have solar, and I appreciate when people care about the environment. I had a really good time when I was CSI, and never any difficulties. Patrick Williams more

I have continued to use their storage because they treat me well and I have had a good experience with them over the years. I highly recommend CSI and encourage others to rent with them. They are conveniently located in Alameda and very easy to work with. They do not hassle me; instead, they are friendly and they work with me. Also, their prices are cheap.
