I just got off the phone with the operations manager Al - to find out that my luggage has not left the original pick up city yet, after it was picked up from my house 10 days ago....

I have used California Express three times and each time they deliver excellent service, rapid delivery, and my stuff all arrives in the condition it was sent.\r I keep coming back because I know I can trust them to pick up and deliver when I need them to, and since i have moved in three waves, they can deal with smaller shipments like mine have been. more

I am very impressed with California New York Express. The rates are unbeatable and the customer service is spot on. My belongings were delivered very quickly and the movers were extremely helpful and nice. They update you every day on your shipment and work arund your schedule for pickup and delivery. Moving packaging is available for a nominal fee also. I purchased a few items from home depot, like sofa covers and bubble wrap, but they have everything you need if you want them to do all the work for you. I highly recommend California New York Express! \r more

This company was phenomenal from start to finish. The sales department was polite, courteous, knowledgable, and flexible in helping schedule our cross country move. The movers in NY were highly competent and efficient, paid particular attention to our valuables. Our stuff arrived early in LA and we requested it be delivered one day before the scheduled time. They of course obliged and arrived exactly when they said they would. The team in LA was professional and competent. They treated our stuff with respect and reassembled everything. My expectations for our cross country move were very low and CA-NY express far exceeded! I highly recommend them to anyone making a cross country move. more

I used CA NY Express recently to move to southern CA from NY. The entire process was a great experience. Moving can be overwhelming, but I was impressed with the professionalism of their people. THey were true to their word. THe move went off smoothly. I especially like that their use full-time employees, not local contract workers. The movers clearly have years of experience and know how to treat furniture. more

I moved from Los Angeles to New Jersey within 2 weeks. Everyone involved at CA NY Express Moving were very friendly and professional. Customer Care explained to me everything I wanted to know about my move. The email tracker that provided daily updates on where my goods were at along the way made scheduling my travel to NJ and my move-in at my new place so simple and stress-free. The local teams that picked-up and dropped off my goods were both super friendly, very professional, packed my large and fragile pieces AMAZINGLY! Prior to my goods arriving, a call was received to schedule a time for drop off, everything went quickly and everything arrived in tip-top shape. Very happy with my decision in choosing California New York Express Moving company. Highly recommended! more

I moved from New York City to San Diego for work recently and went with CA-NY Express because they had very good reviews and their price was about $1,000 less than their reputable competitors (there were companies offering less but they had bad reviews and/or gave me a bad feeling). I actually hired them to both do the packing and moving and was generally very satisfied.\r \r PROS:\r Very friendly, especially on the California end. Very respectful of our property and cautious about not doing any damage to the property or apt. They did a better job packing than we'd have done, both faster and safer, and it only took them a few hours to both pack it all up and take it out.\r \r Good price, generally pretty clear how everything is priced out (except for credit card issue, which I mention below). Packing your own stuff would save a fair bit of money, as it can add up quick if you have a lot of stuff, might not have gone with it if we weren't getting reimbursed for it.\r \r Delivery relatively fast once our stuff arrived on the coast. Stuff made it to California, that Monday and was scheduled that Wednesday. Overall, it took a long time for our stuff to get across the country, (pick-up May 22nd, delivery June 5th, even though our earliest availability date was 5/28). If you're in a rush, I'd recommend scheduling delivery ASAP, even if you have to have a third party on the other end to oversee delivery, as I think that makes it a lot faster.\r \r \r All of our stuff got here in good condition. They do a very thorough inventory process that makes it easy to make sure everything is there.\r \r CONS:\r Only really downside, outside of a long delivery time, but I think that's a case-by-case basis, is there is a fee if you want to use credit card instead of cash on delivery. Its about 2.79%, so it ended up costing us about $40 to use credit card, which was worth it to us because we were light on cash, but might be more than you want to spend for convenience and should probably be more clear up-front. \r \r Overall, very good,would strongly recommend. more

I used CA-NY Express to move from San Francisco to New York and back and both times had an excellent experience. The movers showed up at the beginning of the move window and were incredibly professional. The daily emails that track your shipment are invaluable\r and the price is significantly less than similar movers. I was able to receive my shipment from NY in SF less than a week later. Highly recommend this company based on two superior moving experiences. more

But I got to know about California New York Express Moving in internet and went through testimonials and feedback from its customers. I called them for inquiry and was really surprised with their competitive and cheap quotation and I immediately decided to go for it\r \r The movers arrived for pickup on time and they helped me pack the things with utmost care. I loved their approach and helped the way to save my money in order not to get overcharged. It was very easy for tracking with their excellent customer service and they helped me to change the address while my stuffs were in transit. My things arrived well in advance to CA and provided me an option of storing my stuffs for a week at CA with no additional charge. My stuffs arrived in time as per my convenience with no hassle or additional charge.\r \r The service was excellent and I would recommend California New York Express Moving to anyone who looks forward to best service and cheap price. more

I recently used CA/NY Express to move my mother from NY to LA. \r \r I liked the ease of obtaining the quote and arranging for dates/preferred time. Additionally, the pick up/drop offs were well coordinated and done efficiently and without incident (upon delivery, one of my picture/art boxes was left in the LA warehouse accidentally but this was resolved within 2 hrs after receiving the delivery)!\r \r My only suggestion is that your recommendation or suggestion for customer self-packing or, conversely, for service packing be addressed more thoroughly. I ended up going about $50 more than the HIGH cost estimate of the move & this was, in part, due to the fact that I wanted to take extra precaution and have the movers pack a certain amount of China I had shipped. That said, it would have been better to estimate higher to begin with. But, all in all, this was fairly accurate (even on the high end-and I did have a mover in NY who tried to best accommodate my needs, both financial and protective). And everything seems to have arrived fully intact and undamaged. \r \r Thanks for your efficient and pleasant moving services!\r -AD more

This company was honest and did great work. The move from NY to California cost exactly what the estimate said it would (and was the lowest quote I received). Moving guys were excellent on both ends, wrapped and unwrapped everything very carefully. They stored my possessions for free while I found a place to live, then the move itself took exactly 7 days. more

I am happy to recommend California New York Express. The movers worked their behinds off both loading and unloading the truck. They were fast, funny and very polite. I moved an entire household full of goods, as well as a Pilates Studio and a shed full of lawn and garden equipment. The estimate was very close to the actual cost and I had minimal breakage of items. Though I did not need this service, they do offer a storage option for up to 30 days. By far the best move I have ever had. more

I moved from Oakland to New York. It's such stressful time! Go with this company if you'd like to keep sane. This was my experience: \r - the company set the right expectation (pick up and delivery time), and sent enough guidelines around how to pack and what to pack. \r - movers showed up on time to pick up my stuff. \r - they worked fast and in a very organized manner\r - I received email updates when stuff got on the road and where it is on the road\r - movers called before the delivery to set up the delivery time \r - they showed up on time \r - stuff was quickly moved into my storage unit and everything was there \r what else would you ask for! more

AWesome moving experience- hands down! from start to finish.. no up-selling, hidden cost, my stuff was in perfect order and I actually had fun when the NY CREW delivered.. true gentlemen.. wouldnt let me touch a thing.. CLEAN... because I have serious OCD... this is my 6th x country move.. the movers I used b4 were uber expensive companies w/ fancy add ons... my stuff arrived broke or ""missing"" - not good.. NOT the case with CA/NY EXPRESS. the biggest thing is COMMUNICATION.. CA-NY EXPRESS gets a thumbs up for professionalism and superior customer service!\r \r thnx guys\r \r Lisa more

Not only were these guys the CHEAPEST out there (we moved our whole apartment from NYC to LA), but provided the best customer experience and were the most professional movers I have ever encountered (and I moved a lot in my short life!!). I just recently used CA-NY Express for my move from Long Beach, CA to Brooklyn, NY and the move went great. David Simon was the sales rep that came to my home and accessed what I had. He then gave me a quote that was way under than their competitors price. Not only was I happy with their quote, their service was very good as well. The movers arrived to my home about half an hour before they were scheduled to come and that thrilled me because the job was done sooner than later. The workers started working right away and they didn't lounge around like some experiences I had in the pass with other movers, my shipment was packed sooner than expected.\r In between the time they picked up the shipment until they delivered it, they kept me informed everyday as to where my shipment was via email until the shipment actually arrived.\r On the other end, when the shipment arrived at Brooklyn, NY, they arrived within the time frame I was given. They were scheduled to arrive between 8 - 15 days and they arrived on the 10th day. The workers in NY were just as good as the workers in CA, they were courteous and they listened. You asked them where to place specific items and they did it without a peep.\r I recommend them to anyone looking to make a move from or to CA/NY, you won't be disappointed!\r \r Thank you CA-NY Express for a great experience!\r Kermith Alayon more
